WELL YEAH. I don't really know what else to say. here you can interact/roleplay with my characters, either as a deer or as a human. I'll do one roleplay at a time for each [I have eight, so this shouldn't be troubling; I'll just cross out their names and put the roleplayer's name next to them so everyone knows] and I just ask that if you want to interact your deer knows mine in one way or another; a friend, a relative, or maybe an acquaintance. and...onwards!

it
it is time
for twilight, it was surprisingly cool; the sun had not set, but it was overshadowing the buildings, gradually sinking lower and lower. from the dock, the ocean took a perplexing, shimmering hue, a mix of orange and blue and red. Vipin's own hair was blown back by each occasional breeze, and he eventually turned to braiding it over his shoulder, staring off with a strange, blank look. before he had left, Aspen had slapped his shoulder and then smiled at him, while Xylia, Cal and Devi continued to giggle and stare at him like exuberant little girls. the thought had amused him, as Chanse had hugged him and given him a sparkler and he had promised to return happily, no matter what; still..he couldn't help but be terrified. he knew everyone had urged him to go ahead--Tuna, his own sisters, even his now-deceased mother--but this day was her favorite holiday after all. it all felt so strange, doing it again...
looking up suddenly, he noticed more and more people arriving, standing on the dock or on the beach or even nearby in the grassy fields, staring up hopefully at the darkening sky. he cast his blue eyes around and could not contain his smile, almost seeming to glow as his eyes went from the ocean to the wooden boards beneath his feet to the skyscrapers towering high to the purple-black sky. he had forgotten how long he had been planning this for; months, obviously..he had only remembered Aspen going from coldly in denial to graciously accepting, promising to be "a good sister" from now on. his mother had been so proud, even if she had died after giving away her heart, her soul, her mind and her strength.
though his nervousness was not seen, his gaze jumped around in a rather flighty fashion. he had just called her..and though he knew she was coming, the worry was still evident. ah, the fireworks start soon...I never did like the ones that shoot into the sky. bloody things. they're so loud!..though I can understand why she would like them. they are rather beautiful.
Never and Kahlan, the epic
Never and Kahlan, the epic battle of evilHm...I think I shall request a Chanse and Kylar one, because whyever the hell not.

On the other side of the
"Vipin--" a grin interrupted a laugh here, finally managing to stop herself by pummeling his backside with a warm embrace. A few pants escaped smooth lips to regain a bit of breath lost from that longing walk over. "Hey, Mr. Britiain.. you decided to celebrate America today?" Her arms around his waist tightened, peeking under his arm at the ocean lit with purple rivets mirroring a falling sun. And that breeze... it never failed to settle her down, that familiar hint of salt and cool reminiscence.
Key knew. There was something weird in the way he kept asking if Vipin had called, and this continually pressed curiosity against her so that there was some sort of odd suspicion about what this invitation really was. Yet with her flow-esque personality, there was no traces of worry; only love for what she was about to share with him. Even so, the Egyptian had helped to push her out the door after she finally hung up with those orange eyes smiling. Nothing but hope.
@MICK FFFF I can't remember
@ALLICE
starting forward suddenly, Vipin turned in time to feel a young woman ram in to his back, wrapping her arms tightly around his waist as he released a surprised chuckle, staring down at her, blinking at the warmth within her eyes, managing only a hello, there. she just seemed so utterly happy that he forgot his fear for a brief second; as she peered out at the ocean that twisted behind him, he remembered that fear. it had lessened, hidden behind other emotions now, including joy and absolute love for this woman. at the comment about his ethnicity, he laughed again and turned around, kissing her forehead and resting one arm around her waist. I'm not so British that I won't celebrate America. America's been good to me, obviously. he had found her in America. if he had stayed in Britain--well, he didn't know what would've happened..
though he could have continued, he opted to merely look out over the ocean again, staring off with those blue eyes of his, looking down at Her after a few seconds and smiling. it's awfully beautiful outside, don't you think?..though I'm sure the fireworks make everything brighter. looking up, he watched the now-black sky, picking out the faint, faded, appearing stars, admiring the swells of the ocean. though he could not look away from her for too long... you're glowing, you know.
Blushing was a rather unusual
Trying to brush off the compliment so that her florid cheeks would fade back to their sun-tanned hue, she blinked twice up into those striking eyes. This was all distracting for her.. if he was going to be romantic about everything today, she'd no idea how her focus would be able to remain on the black sky's show of light. At least they were alone; most of the few scattered people that had been on the dock fled to find their families and wait for any remaining orange and purple to fade.
"Thank you for calling me." Another smile, letting her arms go limp so that she could move to his side. And all the while she thought, brown irises flit about the scenery and rivets of such a large body of water turning as ebony as the sky above it.
/fail!!1
I have, though we don't use
the sky was almost completely black now, save for the remaining purple and orange hues flittering around the horizon. there was crimson in there as well...he'd never seen a sky like that before, though he didn't often take the time to watch sunrises and sunsets like his sister. now he wished he had. why would you thank me? unless you don't like being around me. his smirk grew and he looked down at her, his eyes a glowing blue. no gray whatsoever. they matched the waves, almost...
[OH PSH, IF THAT'S FAIL THEN YOUR "GOOD" POSTS ARE AMAZING. <3]
CAN I WATCH THIS CUTENESS.
Her, will you--*FIREWORKS* NO
NO LOL
"Across the pond?" A little frown phased through for a moment in misunderstanding towards his European phrases. But he quickly made up for it so that she was smiling again in a laugh at the story. "If the lightpole wasn't wooden, then I should congratulate her--that sounds hard to do. Most are metal, right?" Were these questions supposed to be a distraction from herself? It was difficult when she couldn't answer her own thoughts like this; no matter, however... things were continually growing better the darker it became. At this point, too, it was the perfect time for the cast of the show to start lighting the fireworks from wherever unknown position they were at.
With this in mind, Her wrapped both arms tighter about that broad waist, kissing once at his side to restrain the need to get on her toes to reach his lips. Both eyes still remained on the sky.
NO KIMI GO AWAY just kidding
ah, no. it was a wooden pole. he shrugged, amused by Her's revelation of the story. though I wouldn't be surprised if she could set a metal one on fire..she honestly likes you, you know. he smiled at her as she tightened her grip around his waist, watching her watch the sky with the most beautiful gaze. so expectant and full of wonder; the thought alone caused him to grin, and he bent down to kiss her, having watched her kiss his side for a moment and then look up willingly. the sun had now fully set, though the golden glow still evident over the horizon, and most of the other couples and families and friends were now all looking up, shifting from foot to foot anxiously as the wondrous lights were prepared..wherever they were.
he pulled away after a while, still looking at her with those unnervingly blue eyes of his--unlike Gabriel's they were not harsh, nor did they look like cold pieces of ice. they had emotion to them, like a warmth of sorts. stars were beginning to appear, faintly outlined in the night sky, glowing and brightly lit.
"...Does she really? I
She'd have moved to ask for another were the show not finally starting.
It was slow-going, as expected, once it began. A red flash here with the small lights falling through the sky, toddlers either reaching up to falsely try and catch them as others stared in mute fear. But Her's reaction was one of absolute, mute comfort, resting a cheek against Vipin's shoulder to increase that feeling and let her irises become different colors with each light going off.

Vipin's eyes glowed as the
they're so lovely, and they take so long to create..but seeing them up their for a few seconds must be worth the effort. he watched with a growing, appreciative look in his eyes before returning his gaze to Her. how come you like this holiday so much, love?
She'd laugh with him, then,
What a befuddling distraction he was being tonight.

ah, no. I think the fireworks
..it's really been a long journey for both of us, hasn't it? his memory swayed to the time where he had been one of two princes. one dark, one a golden rose. those times were far behind the both of them now, but they still remained so clearly in his mind...he smiled despite it and looked at her. ramen. remember that?
Something inside of her went
..so instead, to forget that for the time being, she gave a short laugh at the mention of that food. "And you still don't know how to hold chopsticks." A hum. "I remember you playing piano for me. And Styx, and meeting Cal--meeting your family. All of our smaller dates.. I remember a lot."
She paid no attention to the applause of the beach's occupants signaling that the fireworks had ended. In fact, she'd no idea when they'd even finished.
oh dear God, he said in reply
with an unnoticeable start, he chuckled and shook his head, turning to face her, holding his hands within his own. but Hercules, he began suddenly, speaking in an even more refined tone than usual, making his his British accent completely evident; the humor in his voice faded as he could not contain his grin, continuing to shake his head in disbelief. oh Hell! he couldn't believe he was doing this...
our journey's just begun. I have something to ask of you.
on the outside, he felt completely numb. on the inside, his heart had stopped completely and was now waiting expectantly for him to just do something. he slipped an already dulled hand into his pocket, revealing a black, velvet box, and went down upon one knee--terribly easy, since his legs were about to collapse in a flurry of nerves. now, he held both of her hands within one of his own, looking up at her with only the most sincere of gazes. the ring shone brilliantly within the box, a single diamond encased in a web of gold, outlined with opals..
will you marry me?

The second he'd gotten onto
But it wasn't an unattractive or loud sort of crying--it was silent, and slow, but the tears were overflowing as though something had just been shoved through her heart to bruise a wound. "Vipin," she blubbered, curling all ten trembling fingers around five of his.
Where had this come from...? She had just been preparing herself for something completely opposite to this--and never in her life had she expected to be given that question. After all she'd been through with her past sweethearts, Vipin seemed to be the only one that cared so much that he would drop onto his knee for her as if a small sort of worship.
There was just one obvious answer to this.
In fact, it seemed so obvious that she'd hardly felt the need to respond through anything other than dropping beside him, placing a kiss on his cheek before that prominent jaw. In her nervous yet flattered breakdown of falling limp in ecstasy, she rubbed a wet cheek against his, laughing out her reply thrice in a row. Every one crisp and decided.
"Yes. Yes, yes....."

oh, don't cry... despite
despite himself, he was crying, too. two or three tears slid from one blue eye to pale skin. as she fell to her knees, he took her in his arms and laughed silently with her, shaking his head in utter disbelief. he felt her tears now, sliding silently and soberly over her cheeks, touching his skin as he continued to say incoherent things in an attempt to calm her. she'd said yes..oh dear God, she'd said yes. she wasn't crying tears of sadness but of joy--in his mind he had registered that she had somehow denied him and said a blubbering, tearful "no"..but had she really said yes and bawling tears of absolute adoration? glee? love? the thought absolutely perplexed him..still, one hand held the ring and the other held her. his chuckles receded to a smile unsurpassed by ones previous.
Her... the tears that had left his eyes were replaced by others as they looked at her, completely and utterly blue. behind him, a lone firework, possibly forgotten to be ignited, shot up in to the sky and exploded in a flourish of blue and green, as if on cue, the completely last firework of the night. the ring box shook, as did his shoulders and, eventually, his entire body....do you know how nervous I've been..? he laughed mutely again, moving his head away to look at her directly in the eyes, blinking slowly to clear away the veil of tears. ..I had no idea what you would say..

That last firework was far more startling to Her then as it was beautiful, staring off at the fading light in disbelief after having shook once at the thud coming from nowhere. Yet she relaxed against him after that, too, had gone, hugging at his shoulders before massaging his back with her fingertips. "I can't believe you really considered that I would say no, Vee. Why in hell would I say no?" Another chuckle, and this one was full of heart as her cheeks finally dried before almond eyes.
She was engaged now, wasn't she...?

@RAKU
I guess I did alright, then.
he held her close, resting one hand on the small of her back with the other caressed around her neck. at her muffled words, he may have laughed or continued shaking his head in amazement and shock--he couldn't remember. moving to kiss her again, he could not contain his laugh and ended up just resting his head atop her's once more. his breathing had slowed now, back to a normal tempo, none of his frantic, anxiety-induced breathing present. I've no idea..maybe I thought you were too good for me. which is absolutely true, in some cases. she had left him for Rutilus twice..but that had been amidst a flurry of chaos and anger and hate. that had been so long ago, hadn't it? GoldenWinged had left him then...and yet, still, after all that time, Her felt too good for him. but now she was his fiancée..
you'll be Mrs. Gracemore. his eyes seemed to light up just saying the surname, and he looked down, chuckling again. you'll be wearing a ring now.. the thought perplexed him for a brief second, as he paused to pick up the small velvet box again. there was a minuscule hesitation as he opened the case, looking at the bauble fondly. it was my mother's. I hope that doesn't deter you... his smile was genuine and held no emotion. other than complete joy.
@FAUNET eeehh does Never know any of your deer? I ask this because I have a real difficulty with starting things where my deer don't know the other xD
no he does not
"Mrs. Gracemore," she
"Vipin... thank you." Her hug was tightened then, adding, "I am far from too good for you.. it's the other way around, suh."
