June 11, 2010 - 11:48pm — Rutilus
Hello, guys C8 I thought I'd make a new RP blog (again) because the old ones have died (my fault entirely, apologies!) and well, I like to keep them and such.
So! Literate or chat is fine, as is human or deer. Or some other strange thing you can think of, I don't mind.
Taliene; getting better, kind of.
Rutilus; getting better now that Marti seems to be back.
Jared; worrying about his siblings, but okay.
Lorak; being haunted more frequently. Constantly tired and weak.
Rhapsody; lonely, but allright.
Rhye; quite spiffing, darlings.
Edit: A character can be used more than once :U And you can join an RP that's already started.
She wandered slowly, her body
She wandered slowly, her body cold. She knew she should speed up, and get to someplace warm, but she liked the snow covering the flowers. It made beautiful pictures of the deepest violets, the most explosive reds, the solemnest blues, all upon the white canvas of the snow. She sighed. It was too unsheltered near the flowers, she would have to leave and she knew it.
She stood, and shook the snow off of her silver pelt. It made little difference, she still looked similar to the snow, she often wondered if people could see her when it snowed, and her fur was covered. She walked slowly, often looking around. She didn't want to miss an oppurtunity to make a new friend. That wouldn't be good.
She walked around, and though the Oak seemed the place with the most deer, she chose not to enter it. She chose to enter the darker ruins. The Ruins had so many beautiful flowers within the dead church. She enjoyed looking at them.
Entering the Ruins, she saw no one and so she approached the arches, where there was the most shelter. She examined the lilac flowers and the blue flowers on the snow covered grass. She saw within them, glittering lines of blue and lilac carressing the snow white. It was a beautiful image, that one could only see from above.
She sighed, and sat, the cold rock better than the cold wet snow of the forests ground.

Rosemarie & Rhapsody
The fawn kept very still as he heard the faintest of hoofbeats pass nearby, but curiousity eventually took over and forced his head to raise. Large, expressive eyes searched for the source of the noise and as he pushed himself up on long, shaky legs, they found it. A doe, situated on part of the ruined rock rather than the wet ground. Her pelt was a wonderful silver, and when the little sunlight that there was hit the tiny snowflakes that landed on the doe, Rhapsody was blinded by tiny, tiny beads of light.
Slowly and uncertainly, he took around five small steps closer, watching the doe warily. Appearances could be decieving, he had learned, and although she seemed docile enough, there was every chance that it was a facade.
"Hello?"
She looked around, not
She saw a fawn, skinny with dark fur when she looked towards the idol that lay at the back of the ruins. She guessed that it was that fawn that had said hello to her. She figured that she had better respond, before the fawn began wondering if he was being ignored.
"Hello, little fawn," She said kindly.
Her voice was warm, and seemed like a blanket, it was safe. It was a voice, the sound of which curled and cocooned around you, warming you as if it was someone holding you. Yet it was only words, words which came with the hints of a European origin. More than that, one couldn't determain. Only that her accent was an old one.
She stood and turned to the fawn, revealing to him, the beautiful flower mask that decorated her face, she had been happy when she had found it on her travels, and she wore it with pride. She also wore the feathers of the magpie, around her. Currently, they lay, as if like a hood to warm her, around her black hair, which curled down her neck, and lay gently along some of her silver fur. With the white running through it, one could mistake her for older than she was.
She shook her head slightly to knock the snow out of her hair.

Rosemarie & Rhapsody
His ears flicked back and forth as he watched her eyes dart around. He assumed that she had not realised who had spoken--
And then her voice reached him, and he was calmed. This doe would not harm him.
When he had first woken up in the Forest, the young fawn had known nothing about himself except from his name, but he had learned that he appreciated beauty in all forms. This unknown doe's mask was something he could easily call 'beautiful' without even thinking about it. He wondered if she was old; her fur had white in it too, and he'd learned that that tended to be a sign of old age. The doe didn't look old to him, but he was not a very accurate judge. She had longer fur on her head and around her neck, and it was a similar shade to his entire pelt. Was that normal? He'd seen it before, but it seemed rare. The doe's feathers were ones he had also seen before, but they seemed different and he could not pinpoint why.
Rhapsody watched the tiny snowflakes fall, while noting that she had called him 'little fawn'. Almost everyone he had met had referred to him as that.
"It's cold," he stated the obvious then looked away in embarrassment, large ears flattening against his head. "I thought all the other deer were in the oak tree. It must be warmer there." The fawn took another shaky step forward, tiny black hooves swallowed by the snow. His chest rose and fell as he breathed, thin fur clinging to his just-visible ribs. Rhapsody could not remember how long he had been a fawn now. It was far longer than it was for most other fawns, he knew that much at least.
She chuckled. Not in a
She was similar to that, she didn't see that many shades of grey, but she knew that they were there. It was strange. Bad things done for good reasons, good things done for bad reasons. The way of the world confused her. All she knew was that she liked the flowers, the beauty of them, and she liked people.
"It is warmer there, but it is less beautiful. The flowers do not grow there," She commented in response to his reply. "And I like the patterns of the flowers." She turned her head to the fawn and smiled kindly.
"Rosemarie Lavendria," She said, bowing politely the way that deer in the forest did, in greeting or in introduction. She awaited the fawn's name, and wondered what interesting name she would hear. She hadn't heard a normal name since she came to the forest which had made her happy.
Before she had never heard names like her own. Rosemarie, she sometimes heard, but more often it was Rosemary, and she never liked that name. It seemed less pretty than her own name, but she wasn't always th best judge of that.

Rosemarie & Rhapsody A very
A very small smile found its way onto the young fawn's face at the doe's chuckle, and then it faded as he listened intently to what she had to say. Rhapsody's lips curved upwards again; she, too, seemed to appreciate beauty.
Just as he was considering speaking, the silver doe introduced herself and gave a bow. Rhapsody returned the bow, glancing up as he did so, then straightening.
"You've...got, um...That's a nice name." Soon after he said it, he realised that it sounded like a very typical response. "No I mean it, it's very different. Do I call you Rosemarie, or Lavendria?" The dark-pelted fawn glanced away nervously. "Because I'm known by the second part of my own name, and...and yes." He couldn't recall ever telling anyone his full name; it was always just Rhapsody.
"Oh, and what is your name?"
She added on a thank you for the compliment on her name, and she told him that she enjoyed her name because of her love of flowers, and since her name was similar to two different types of flower it made her smile. She looked down towards the flowers.
"The Ruins, have so much death, it is unusual that the flowers here, have grown so beautifully around the whole of it, and not just the graves," She commented as she looked around the flowers growing through the ruins.
She wandered slightly towards the little dark furred fawn. The snow fell from her, as if falling from the sky once more, each piece of snow fell gently and slowly like the snow falling from the sky. She stopped in front of him, and looked down towards him.

[ Mick; I'll reply to ours
Rhye & Madison
Having just discovered that watching people trying to dance was hilarious, Rhye was incredibly entertained as he watched the girls. Pushing his wavy, shoulder-length ('almost black, darling, but I swear it's dark brown!') hair back behind his ears, the man wandered through the park and ended up sitting on a bench a while away from another, where a girl appeared to be sitting. Rhye was dressed rather oddly; black leggings, black leather boots that reached up his calves and resembled Doc Martens, a white button-up shirt, and a black waistcoat. He wore what he liked, clearly.
His gold-hazel-eyed gaze was drawn to the teenager sitting on the bench nearby. Something's very familiar about her.
-salutes- i shall know when

[Oh I just realized I forgot
Madison had noticed the strangely-dresses man watching the little girls. She almost wanted to tell her sister, even though her sister was bratty, moody, and she liked to hit Madison (even though she was 3 years younger, well luckily it didn't hurt very much and Madison was very tolerable to getting hit), to come try to dance closer to them, so she'd feel safer about the situation. But when they guy moved and sat closer to her, that's when she felt ackward and slightly scared. She had no real idea who this guy was, yet his face did seem familiar. He was dressed in lots of dark clothes on a hot summer day. Good God I would so be burning up in that...
She watched him staring at her out of the corner of her eye for a minute or two, trying to act like she was concentrating on drawing, until the ackwardness got to be too much. She put the pencil and sketch book down on the bench beside her and stared at him. "Do I know you?
[AUUUUGH I DIDNT NOTICE YOU
The voice made his stomach churn uneasily, and it stirred something in his mind. It was so familiar. After a few completely emotionless, silent seconds, Rhye cracked a smile. "I don't know, do you?" He asked, raising a dark eyebrow and pushing his hair back from his face. "Sorry." Rhye glanced around, realising that he'd have to act a bit more normal as there was more than one person around. "I'm not being some kind of weirdo, just sitting. I'm er, interested in art." He waved a hand flippantly, almost gayly, towards the sketch book. Rhye's voice was British, with a very light French accent behind it. "It caught my eye, you know? What were you drawing 'til I went and interrupted you?"
Hmm, I'll have to come back
Rhapsody & Rosemarie At the
At the mention of death, the fawn's ears drooped. He wanted to ask so many questions about that subject, but now that Mick was gone, who could he ask? There was Poltergeist, but she had problems of her own. Perhaps one day he could ask this doe, this wonderful, flower-loving doe.
Rhapsody craned his neck back to look up at her, large eyes filled with wonder. "Rhapsody," he said very quietly, ears pricked. "My name. I'm Rhapsody." The snow continued to melt in his fuzzy fur and he shook his fragile body. "Rose...marie," he told himself so he wouldn't forget her name. "I wonder why the flowers are never alone." He had only ever found one lone flower, in a sunbeam near the ruins. A little yellow dandelion, alone.
Rosemarie looked at the
"Because flowers are delicate, and need the companionship to survive," She answered softly, she looked to the flowers below her. Like I do... she thought to herself. She felt somewhat solemn because of that. She needed to be with people and yet the Gods had told her that some stags and does would harm and kill her.
She cursed herself for being so weak, so fragile that she wouldn't be able to protect herself. "Rhapsody..." She whispered, and the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody' came into her mind. She couldn't help herself and let out a little chuckle.

[UGH. Sorry for late reply.
Madison fidgeted with her hand nervously, which had unconsiously gone over her sketchbook when she had put it down. Even his voice was familiar! She was terrible putting names with faces she didn't know much or didn't know, so it was dificult for her, trying to figure out who he reminded her of, and try to talk without sounding like she didn't know what she was doing. "Animals..." She said quickly and quietly, "They're really the only thing I'm too good at... I've tried humans but I can never draw faces right." Her fingers twitched at the edges of the paper, considering to pull it closer to her, she usually never showed anyone her art unless it was at least finished with the sketch stage.
[FUUUUUUU I bet if he said "Darling" like he always does, she'd know exactly who it was |D]
[Again, Mick, just give me
Aw AA 8C Tis okay <333 I ruv yew.)
The other chuckled, trying and failing to see the paper properly. "Tch, see, all that takes is practice. I can't draw worth a crap, you know, but I'm better than I used to be at least." He drummed his fingers on his own thigh, moving his hair out of his face with the other hand. "But anyway, darling, what's your name?"
[EEK. Sorry. I've been busy
Realization hit when he said that last sentence. I-It can't be... Can it? She fiddled with the edges of her t-shirt for a second, biting her bottom lip. "M-Madison... You?"
[
His eyes sparked up in recognition. "It's Rhye," he stated, a grin starting to form on his face. "Now let me ask what you asked before; do I know you?"
