What do people in your life react to you playing TEF as?

For example, this was a conversation when I was little before miracles happened and when I was beginning to play:
Me:
'Kay, I'm going to start playing TEF now..

just was looking through old mail, found this as 2009, Jun 12.
I feel as if a lot of people see TEF as queer, or even wrong, and can't really understand it.
I've introduced alot of
My boyfriend caught me
I guess it's the human faces
I think that it all comes
My closest friend knows that I play TEF. She doesn't say anything about it, but I feel like she doesn't want to hurt my feelings by telling me how unusual she finds the game. I'll gladly accept the title of strange because I'm exhausted with feeling like I need to be "normal" in order to fit in. I'd much rather have my own style than be like everyone else. That's a part of the experience, is it not?
I personally adore artwork that is different. I find that it reflects the personality of the artist behind the image or creation. I like the fact that they face those in society who would call them weird.
Oh, look at how I've rambled on and left an entire report. I really connect to these things! My point is that I accept that others may not like the way I am, but I'm still going to be true to myself no matter what. No matter how bitter their words are, I don't plan on changing who I am to be what they deem as acceptable.
The human faces never
I think this is the most beautiful game I've ever played.

I thought the human faces on
I started playing TEF a few days ago when my curiosity got the best of me, and at first, I thought it ws very boring too. I couldn't understand the point, at first.
But do things really have to have a point to them? Not all games have to have a beginning and an end. As someone stated above, not everything has to have excitement and blood and guts.
The forest is what you make of it. Either you can relax to the natural sounds, or put your soul into the life of a deer for a short while.
We don't know if deer actually have a vocal language like humans, but we do know that they use actions as a language. Perked ears could mean a sign of danger, a flagged tail is an alarm, braying could be to locate family, and a tilt of the head could be reminiscent of confusion.
It's interesting, for me, to try to communicate without words. Most people don't understand or don't care to try it out.
But who cares what they think? What really matters is how you go about to enjoy it.
I love all these positive
I like to hear about how TEF is seen by other people outside of the community, and this reinforced the thought only a few people can really enjoy it..
And, I hope this person that Laiia knows might eventually remember her experience with the game and play it; and Hana's friend will take a liking to it as well. Not to fit in or change in any sort of way; but because TEF is so relaxing sometimes that it's sad missing out on it
I understand what you mean,
But it would be nice for people to be more open minded, as always.
