Everytime I come on TEF, I see peoples amazing art & stories they write and that inspires me to write and draw my own. But when I post something, its either no comments or negative comments. I've had my share of 'Take it down' & 'Delete that character' so dont tell me what its like, okay? I bet if I could draw like Seenya or write like VCG does none of you would care. This community is so.. UUUGGHHH! I actually want to write 'I hate you all' but that would be wrong because all I really hate is this god damned community. Sue me. Its like, I try to fit in but then im pushed away or beaten out. What the hell? Do I not belong here or something? No, wait. I know what it is your all so elitist.

After I post this, I'm off

After I post this, I'm off to see some of your art and writing. First of all, I understand why you feel like this, and I'm not about to tell you its wrong to feel that way. As for the elitist thing...Well, I have to agree, to be honest. I don't get many comments on my writing either, and although the ones I do get are positive, its always the same people.
Eh, all I can say is that I'd gladly be your friend if you'd like. I just need to get to know you a bit.

You might also want to look at what you're doing yourself that makes people behave that way. It's not always the fault of the "whole community" Eye
Personally, I don't think overly agressive characters or rape-story's are all that fit, and people weren't rude against you, they simply stated.

I honestly try to comment on

I honestly try to comment on everyone's pictures and writings but it's hard. There is so many people in the community and so little time I can be on because of school. Please don't blame the community I was new here like 3 months ago and they welcomed me with open arms. Don't get mad if people don't comment on things that doesn't meant hey don't read or see it. I read almost every bog entry and see every picture. Just please try to be optimistic about things okay?

It was just a rape story,

It was just a rape story, it was Acoustic's [ MY TEF CHARACTER. So yes, it was to do with TEF ] Life story/biography/past thing.

Before you label the whole

Before you label the whole community as bad please weigh up other opinions. I liked your writing, it had a good quality, but the fact that you removed that story down without a fight is almost like you were looking for drama.
Your blowing it out of proportion.

Nonetheless, all I wanted to see was a warning post on the header...thats all, you didnt have to get carried away and delete the whole story, over that.
Dont let one single tiff just automatically label the community as evil...or...out to get you.
You have to realise, that like IT, there are younger players and they dont need to read stories like that.

Enjoy whatever time you decide to spend in TEF and the community be a good one. I look forward to reading more of your stories soon Smiling

-sigh- I know as good as anyone what it's like to be told to change. I have forgiven, but not forgotten, the event where I was demanded to alter my character from who he was, and to stop playing him as he was meant, in my mind, to be played. Few people comment on my art and writings; but I am grateful to the few that do.

I just hope you find that maybe not all of us are so elitist as you think; I try to make amends with those I've fought, befriend those I don't know, and continue to make artwork and writings and let my characters be as they are, and just be myself. I'd like to get to know you better; you seem like an honest person. I'm just sorry to hear you feel this way about the site, though you do have good reason.

In any case, I recommend you keep writing and drawing; I'll be bound to check it out. It's just a good thing to place a warning at the top of your posts so people know what to be aware of, is all C:

If you think its just about that story I wrote, Ravenflight, then thats wrong :c Because most of the things i've ever posted were told to be taken down. I am not looking for drama. I actually came to TEF to get away from it. I took it down because I couldnt be bothered to fight a fight that I would probably lose. If they dont need to read it then they shouldnt read it, their choice not mine.

I wont be writing anymore. Because most of my characters have a violent background. More fun to play, I guess.

I know how you feel about the whole change thing. I still cant believe how many people told me to get rid of her. I dont 'think' that your not all as Elitist, I know your not as elitist because people like you are in this community, too. I swear im not honest, just blunt. LOL. Drawing: yes Writing: no.

I agree with you most

I agree with you most characters with a violent or 'dark' background are more interesting.. You shouldn't stop writing. I'm actually very interested in rape or abused backgrounds. It makes you have more sympathy for the deer. It helps show why they act the way they do. Please don't stop writing I would love to read some of your stories.

D8 No Tolvia, don't stop writing! I may not know you, but I do know that your writings are really good! All you need to do is put "WARNING: __________" and that way, no one can bother you since you already warned the community of what's included in your writing. If they don't like it, they shouldn't read it - they already saw what was going to happen. For example, I have one journal entry about my doe Apparanza that includes violence towards her, but I put a warning beforehand. I didn't get any negative feedback at all.
I'd love to read anything you write, and I'm sure there's others who would too <3

I didn't read the comments because i don't want to hear the hate I'm sure probably came from this, but might I ask you do what i do when it comes to this?

I'm a poet, not an incredibly great one, but a poet none-the-less. I usually get 2-3 comments from only my closer friends here on the community and sometimes a kind stranger but that doesn't bother me. I don't need attention to validate my poems, I just write. As long as you enjoy your writtings/art why must you be unhappy?

I'd love to see more work from you, why don't you give it a go?

I wont give it a go because my style of writing.. well what I like to write about is mostly my characters back grounds. 90% of the time its violent and somewhat disturbing, thats why Im never writing on here again.

Most of the stories I write

Most of the stories I write are of my characters history. Which might I say was dark and 'scary' with killings, murder, whatever. You shouldn't delete your art or writings just because a few jerks don't like it and give you nasty comments.

Don't take it down just because someone told you to. It's your writing, not theirs. But yeah, a warning in the title might be sufficient. Us writers aren't too common here, as you can see. I understand how you feel about the "elitists", but not everyone is like that (as you said). They are few and far between here. Don't let them get to you. <3
Your writing is very good and I enjoyed it. c: Keep doing what you're doing, my friend.

It depends on what your

It depends on what your intention is. I write my stories because I want to see them written down. It has nothing to do with trying to be popular or trying to impress anyone, I just want to write.

Yes, we have some amazing artists on this site, but also they're not here for glory - they just love doing what they do.

If you write for popularity, it won't get you very far. Write to express yourself, not to impress others.

You should also note that, like the others said, this community tries not to write graphic works, and if it's something too gory, it really shouldn't belong here. Or if you can write it with a PG rating, go for it.
