An underlying theme I wanted to incorporate for the relationship Quad and Iugulare had was referencing the Temptation of Jesus. While I'm in no way trying to portray Quad as a Christ-like character, he could be perceived as one, where Iugulare would represent Satan trying to tempt him. I mention this temptation in the above words Iugulare thinks - she would give Quad everything he wanted if he only surrendered himself to her (though all she would really give him is a false reality while she overran the Endless Forest as well as Earth itself if Pent failed to defeat her as well). You could assume that Caw, Blixt, and Trunks fell for this temptation, though I never make that distinction.
Another reference for this theme is Leonidas and Xerxes, who in 300 are portrayed with a similar situation. Xerxes tempts Leonidas with riches and power if he and the spartans kneel before him.
I've always wanted to incorporate this with Quad and Iugulare, but just never had a good place to write it in. Maybe later, Iugulare will genuinely approach Quad and give him this tempting offer. So then Quad would have to make the choice to obey the Twin Gods and fight her to the end, or take her up on the deal, getting his own personal paradise while the rest of the world (and possibly universe) suffers.

Getting in to Iugulare's
