Ok, so...
In an effort to keep all of us wonderful derps of TEF connected even with obsessions with X and Y taking over, I'd like to set up a directory of sort for everyone's friend codes. Everyone, please throw me your codes and I'll add them on this page soon as possible.
This way everyone will be able to find and battle, trade, friend safari, ect. with everyone else for all the extra funzies that pokemon x and y will provide.

Mis! Your type is Fire and your Pokemon are Growlithe, Ninetales and Larvesta. Badass.
If you're concerned about filling up your pokedex, I can trade them to you or something.

Kaoori, see here. Smiling It's available after you beat the Elite 4. Basically, instead of a normal Safari you have a separate safari for each friend with three different pokemon. There are chances of encountering pokemon you usually wouldn't see in the game.

Soooo who has heard of the

Soooo who has heard of the instachecker yet?

It's a method to hatch shinies a lot easier using shiny ID's. Your unhatched egg has a ID, and you as a trainer have a shiny ID. So if those two match, you hatch a shiny pokemon. Which greatly improves your chances! I've had fun hatching boxes full of froakie eggs but I'm up for something more simple now o_x

I managed to get the program for it up and running, and tested it on poor unsuspecting Rikkachan. Figuring out her shiny ID and mine. So I'm going to be making a lot of eggs and looking for matches.

If anyone is interested in using this method as well, there's already a big spreadsheet in the works to find matches. And I can help you find the ID's of your eggs and yourself! Smiling

And if you hate this method you can ignore this comment ;_; Sorry. XD

If only I could Nuzlocke like a normal person and just RESTART THE GAME/slapped

/instead chooses to hatch pokemon from eggs to use as starters

ANYWAY I caught a shiny Skorupi a few days ago, who I`d love to breed to give all ya some shiny bebes *needs to figure out how shininess is passed to eggs*

Sadly you can't breed a shiny like that as far as I know, I think it was possible once in the old gold and silver games but now no. Would be good if we could though since the Masuda Method is still a bit rough on the shiny chance for some. All things considered though the shiny rate in this Pokemon game is much better, considering I never found a single shiny outside red Gyarados in gold and silver but now I've found 3 (1 Wild 2 Friend Safari) and bred 1 so far.

Yup yup! Unfortunately

Yup yup! Unfortunately breeding with a shiny parent, or two shiny parents for that matter, has no effect on the shiny rate of their eggs. =( The only significant modifier would be if you're breeding two pokemon from different language copies of the game (I.E. American Charmander and Japanese Ditto to breed for a shiny Charmander)

My 3DS has been broken for the past few weeks so i'll add the newest folks when I get it back from Nintendo. @_@ I'm interested in scoping out this Instachecker thinger and seeing what it's all about~

Aww 8C Strange, I thought I read something about breeding shiny parents to hatch shiny eggs....but eh, it`s the internet. |D

I do remember catching a lot of shinies back on my Pokemon Pearl...but then again, I`ve had that for almost six years, so. XD

/continuously hatches Zorua eggs in hopes of getting a shiny D8/ speaking of, I probably have about 12 Zorua`s by now, so if anyone wants one, don`t hesitate to tell me c8

200 hours in and I still

200 hours in and I still haven't seen any shinys. At least that'll be fixed once pokemon bank comes out and I can just transfer my BABEH into X. My shiny milotic will finally be 3D. *-*

To anyone interested, I'm able to breed other-gen starters now. I also have a Raticate which I'll be breeding soon and infecting the spawn of with pokerus, which I've picked up within the last two days. I plan to do kind of an event of sort... a pokemon bubonic plague. Sending out either by trade or wonder trade, pokerus infected Rattata. Now WHO can say no to that, since you generally can't GET rattata in game, and POKERUS for those EV trainers out there.
