please share music with me

eyestrain's picture
I have temporarily exhausted my regular playlists and need to burn through a lot of art tonight.

Would you please share with me music you enjoy? Any kind or flavor is appreciated.

If you need some ideas, lately I am listening to this, this and this.

ps- Thank you, everyone. They will certainly come in handy when I have a lot of art to get through.

pps- I've compiled all the songs posted so far into this playlist. If there seem to be songs missing or duplicated please let me know.

My personal working playlist is here. It will change frequently, I think.

"Nessun Dorma" by Paul Potts.

"Nessun Dorma" by Paul Potts. I love his version as much as Pavarotti's..

"Life Is Looking Up" by Forgive Durden. A group that gives me hope quite often.

"From Memory" by Mistabishi

I find the music of VNV

I find the music of VNV Nation always good to draw to, most of their songs tend to be rather heavy lyric and message wise, but there's something captivating and lethargic about them.
Carry You is a good, upbeat song to start with.

And now other stuff:

Supermassive Black Hole by Muse
Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue
I Don't Like Mondays by The Boomtown Rats (There is actually a really interesting story behind this song. Let me know if you want to know it.)
We are the Few by Streetlight Manifesto (My favorite Ska band of all time.)
Start It Up by INDK (In Decay) (addicting song)
Wheel in the Sky by Jouney (suggested by my boyfriend)

If you want to draw something violent and angry I suggest anything by AC/DC.

Hope this helped ^-^
