Hey guys, you may or may not have heard that
I was diagnosed with a reading disorder. In short, I read a few pages of something but don't fully comprehend what I'm reading, and also I get tired of reading it after a few pages and put it down.
It really made me feel awful that I don't read some of the longer stories on TEFc, despite being an advocate for reading more writing and giving writers more credit.
Therefore, could you please do me a favor? Please share a link to a story you have written, so that I can challenge myself to read them. It's going to be a test of dedication and discipline, and I will do my best to fully understand what I'm reading so that I can give you a comment at the end.
If you don't really have anything you've written, please give me a link to a news article that makes you happy.
Thank you all for your help. *nuzzles*

I don't write stories, sorry I can't help.
I have a story or two going
If so, maybe then...this, a story/poem I wrote a while back. It looks best on a widescreen monitor, I think. But either way, I hope I can help~ ♥
I just meant for the news
I'll check out that link in just a second. Thanks
You're very welcome. ♥
Uhm, I have a little ickle
I don't really have any
If you're interested, I'd suggest a couple of anthologies that I've read that I found absolutely wonderful.
The first two are by the same author, Neil Gaiman (you may know him from the Sandman graphic novels), and his short stories range on the bizarre side, but are extremely well written. His two main anthologies are Fragile Things and Smoke and Mirrors. Some of the stories do have slightly more mature themes, but I have never found his writing gratuitous.
A third anthology that I found spectacular was Roald Dahl's Skin. While he is known for his books aimed at those who are a bit younger, his short stories are quite a bit more mature, and again, marvellously written.
Anyway, maybe these will give you some ideas, it might be a nice thing for you to check your local bookstore or library for!
Sure! I've got.... I'd
I'd rather not read anything depressing if that's okay.
Oh umm... Well then... I've never been known to be a writer of nicer things but, Kumiko's origin story The Master and the Maiden is not that bad. Sure, I guess it could be considered kinda sad near the end. Though the whole thing is written like a folktale.
Cypher's stories from the Agency of Mystery Archives are going to be hit or miss for you then. Each short story is written like an episode of Doctor Who or Buffy, etc... Meaning that each one is tied together in the sense of developing him as a character and showing off his past a bit but yet each one is its own stand alone plot. Everything is based on the paranormal, meaning that some stories are more on the darker side while others can come off somewhat lighthearted. Especially since young Cypher was pretty naive and social awkward, and everything pretty much results with him getting his ass handed to him.
You might like his Aswang story since I tried to end it comically. The dobhar-chu might entertain you as well since it shows just how dumb he can be. Shiori apparently laughed out loud while reading it.
I already promised, and have
Be aware, I am going to give you a challenge, but I know you will succeed!
Trigger - Well I don't know
Anyway, those anthologies look great! I added all three to my Amazon wish list so I'll make sure to get them as soon as I can when I can afford them. Of the three is there one you liked the best?
Thank you for the suggestions!
Kumiko - that thing about reading 'depressing' things was only directed toward news articles. I'm fine reading anything you guys have written, so if you had anything in mind please, I'd love to read it! (I removed that sentence about not wanting to read anything depressing since it seemed to be confusing )
I'll check out the links you provided soon. Thank you for the suggestions XD
MissButterflyCaught - I can't wait to see what you write!
Hmm, I think of the three I
Graphic novels are fantastic, it's really easy to get sucked into them! If you like the Marvel ones, you would probably also enjoy Marvel 1602. The first one was also written by Neil Gaiman (man I'm addicted to his stuff ) and in my opinion is the best of the series, although if you like the premise you'll also enjoy the other two. It's a really interesting idea, that the heroes (and villains) of the Marvel universe show up out of their proper time, and in fact become involved with the colonization of America in the 1600s.
Oh, well then read all of
Still working on Kumiko's

Hey Trigger, I found a used
Terry Pratchett's short
If I find a link, would you be up to read one?
I find crime/police stories
^ They're pretty long alot of the time so, like Nayu said, Terry Pratchett's short stories are good, from what I've read. Anthony Horowitz and Roald Dahl's short stories are always pretty good too.
Also, you can always just pick up a poetry book and read some poems which I find nice.
/End book lecture xD.
I'm typing something up now, which I'll post here if you want. It won't be too long ^^
Nayu - I really like
Bluejay - I haven't ever tried a crime/police story but my parents really like to read them. I'll have to try one out sometime, do you know of a short one that is pretty good? Of the authors you listed, the only one I'm familiar with is James Patterson. I read his Maximum Ride stories and really enjoyed them.
And yeah, anything you'd like to post here I'll read XD. I really love trying to read things from TEF members.
The crime/police one I
I'm not sure how short you want, but these are around 200 pages.
And I've also read some of the Maximum Ride books. I liked them, although I haven't read past No. 3 yet
Edit Here's the one I've just typed up~
I managed to find Troll
Some stuffs that are useful to know: - Cohen is supposed to be a legendary hero admired by all.
- Trolls have a thing for bridges?
- The character of Death is effectively death itself; black robe, scythe, and bad sense of humor.
Pratchett writes mainly very parodic stories.
I hope you enjoy!
edited, because my english is awful these days.
May I suggest buying a book
I think it's a great thing that you're offering to read tef'ers works too, because we all know many of them feel under-appreciated, so you can put this on the backburner.
