Picture saving issues? Windows 10

Does anybody have problems saving pictures from the internet and websites with Windows 10? I just saved a bunch and they came up as corrupted when they were fine on the site and weren't broken links, etc. I try to open them and windows says 'we don't support this file'. It's not all the pictures I save, but quite a few ended up like that.

Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies on web browser?
Have you tried using the Error Checking tool on your disk?
What format are the images?
What program*s have you tried opening the photos with?
Have you tried using CHKDSK on command prompt for errors?

It's weird that some save and

It's weird that some save and some don't. The images are .jpg and .png, but I'm thinking as these photos are saved on photobucket it has something to do with it. :/ I was trying to get back some pictures I had lost when my computer deleted a bunch of my files about a month ago.

You can use a plugin, like

You can use a plugin, like Image Downloader by Vlad Sabeev for Chrome.
The broken files are due to bucket saving its own html pages as image file types to your computer. Of course that leaves em corrupted.

Tested it myself, versus my

Tested it myself, versus my own way of saving pictures. Worked fine for me and has previews, so makes things easier. You're welcome)
