Drew like fifty versions of this guy before finally deciding on one @u@;;

Phylux, the winged guardian.

In a past life, he was exactly that: a guardian. He had actual wings. Those have been tucked away in this new form, but they often ooze out in the form of dark smoke that floats from the markings along his back.

I'm also using this as his bio image, so sorry if you see this in a bunch of places XD;;

omg, it really disturbs me how much sense this makes/how well I can visualize it. xD I'm SURE it's the absolute... effectiveness of your drawing and not my weird mind at all.

... I can totally see this as Phy. The way his eyes are drawn just say so much as to his personality I think... and the fact that he at once looks at peace and ready to spring up into action.

Slightly disturbing action at times, but action, nonetheless. xD

I love the simple... dangerousness of those antlers (ow? xD). Not to mention I just love black and white... and yes, I am obligated to say this in any picture/blog/bio where black and white are prominent. xD You did the colors so much credit, and... and I'm proud to share the same pelt as him. xD

... and back to the wings again. Seriously, can not get over. He really came to life in this picture.
