hey everyone, i got this real cute syrian hamster a couple of days ago, i will post a picture when i have got one of him, i don't want to take one yet becauses he will of course be frightened. His name is Biscuit and he is obviously a browny colour with some white spaces. So if anyone else has a pet they want us to know about just tell me and if anyone has any tips about looking after a hamster please tell and if their are any other ways to entertain him.

Awww I love syrians I used to have a black and white female called chewee <33 Hamsters are awesome, I currently have two chinese boys, The only thing I recommend really is to vary your hamsters treats and don't feed them something they shouldn't eat (like citrus fruits, oranges lemons etc..) a list here has what a hamster can eat.

Oh thank you! Awww, chinese ones, i have seen those and they are adorable, they are a little smaller than syrians arn't they? Thanks also for the addvice and i'll get a picture as soon as i can!

Yeah, they're about three times smaller than a syrian but they're very long lengthways, and no problem, I miss my syrian terribly <3 your ham sounds adorable, did you plan on getting one?

I was actually looking at a dwarf hamster, but then saw this one and just fell in love! Hey, you know your Syrian, did it squeak. We asked someone from where we got it and they said it was when they were stressed but he does it like in bed and who can be stressed there?...

She used to, maybe it's just the fact he's in a new environment and all that? My two do it still and they sleep together so I know it's not them hating eachouther xD

Aww, well thank you, i am at the moment starting to stroke him, he is getting used to it and in a while i'll try to pick him up, first i'll just put some food in my hand and then not!

Well, he is getting much

Well, he is getting much better at it now, and he hardly ever gets scared when you do it and freely allows you to stroke him, and very soon i think i will try and pick him up because he is improving rapidly! And also his fur is so soft, it is so cute!
