The Peryton's Perch [Interaction/Roleplay]

I wanted to make an image for this, but if I wait until I actually draw something, I might have never gotten this up.

This is an interaction/rp blog specifically for Dardaptos. Since I don't plan to play him in-forest much, and imagined him as more of a roleplay character, I thought I should make a blog for him.

Interact however you want. Roleplay, draw, ask questions, simple or complex...Whatever you want to do. Hopefully I will have a picture for this eventually.

Dardaptos can be found pretty much anywhere, though he prefers high places, such as the largest rock in the playgrounds, or perched in a tree. He won't usually approach others, preferring that they approach him first, but he may make some exceptions.
(Dar is a Peryton, a man-eating creature resembling a deer in front and a bird in back)

Dardaptos just sat in his tree, simply watching as he often did. There wasn't much to see here at the moment, but a little fawn caught his interest. He smiled to himself, wondering how easily the fawn would be frightened. He jumped down from his tree, landing right in front of the fawn. "Hey there." He grinned, showing his sharp teeth.

Dar frowned. He had wanted to just scare the fawn a little, not hurt him. He didn't really feel like dealing with angry parents or anyone else that might come after him. "Are you sure?" He went to the fawn and nudged him a little to help him up. "Are your parents around?"

Ah, no parents, this meant Dardaptos didn't have to worry about getting into trouble here. Unless the fawn had someone else who was protective over him. "Really. Hnn, you know, I don't have a family, either. I used to, but that was a long time ago. They're all gone now. Say, what is your name, anyway, little one? That is, assuming you have a name."

He chuckled at the fawn's "name" for him. "Wish, hmm? That's an interesting name. Mine is Dardaptos, but if that's a bit too long for you, you can just call me Dar." He looked curiously at Wish's eyes, noticing they had changed color. "Those are some interesting eyes you have. Hmm...There are certainly a lot of curious things in this forest."

Dar blinked, taken aback. Surely the child was only making that up, but then why would any child make up something like that? "Hmm, really, now? You must be stronger than you look, then. Though most others wouldn't like hearing that, you know." He smiled. This fawn was turning out to be more interesting than he had thought.

He pulled his wing back with a growl. "Watch it, I don't need them all messed up. Yeah, of course they work, what do you think I have them for?" He spread his wings out and gave them a shake to get the feathers back in place, then folded them back against his body.

The leaves of the trees rustled and stoped burning, then as if they where hideing among the brances, twnety or more long thin multi colored candle sticks floated about and incirceled them both, then witha hissing sound lit them selfs.

Dar watched in awe, not so much at the display itself, as he had seen similar things before, but at the fawn's ability to do such things at such a young age. There was also the fact that, while the forest was filled with magic, he hadn't seen any of this kind from a deer. "That's some talent you have there. You've always been able to do that?"

He smiled,same old questions, diffrent face. "Stuff like this, I wasnt abble to dothis candle thing to the Gypses gave me the candles. But I when I grant my Wishes I cough up crystals, bottons, colorfull strings , bells, marbels, random stuff like that, when im mad I get big fangs and claws,as you've proabe;y seen my eyes change with emotion, I have a few spells and At onec I had this pet dragon of min, I named his sparks"! Wish was becomeing sclightly bore anwsering questions with words so he anwsered with actions "I Wish I Wish apon a satr, one day your thoughts wot be to far"!!now he could hear the others thoughts, as if they where pronounced over a loud speaker.

"Gypsies, eh? I take it you've been outside of this forest." He began to wonder if this fawn was actually older than he looked. He'd heard of stranger things. Then again, the fawn seemed to have a very active imagination. At least, he figured the dragon part was probably made up. But he couldn't imagine where Wish would hear about gypsies in this forest. It was possible that some of that was true, and that Wish wasn't quite what he seemed. "Hmm...that's all very interesting." He blinked, mildly confused at the wish. "Hm? What are you doing?"

Dar blinked again. "Eh? I don't think you're crazy. Hmf...So, that's what it was, you're reading my mind or something? I wasn't even thinking you're crazy. It's just hard to believe the things you're saying. But that doesn't mean I don't believe you. I mean, I kind of don't and kind of do." He frowned a little. What he just said didn't really make sense, but he didn't know how to explain it. "Look...I don't mean to upset you or anything. I think the things you're saying...they're not impossible. I mean you've got a lot of power. You're definitely not an ordinary fawn. It's just, that's kind of a big claim to make." He sighed. He wasn't sure if Wish would accept what he said, but he didn't know how to explain what he meant any better. He really did like the fawn, and didn't want him to be angry.

But Wish was not angry just allitle flusterad, though he quickly calmed. "Oh im not reading your thoughts Dar...im listeing to to them..watch"!! for a moment nothing happened then a bodyless voice called out "See im projecting your thoughts to the orld, just like im doing with mine right now"!!
