BLOG POST First customer of

BLOG POST

First customer of the day at the frozen yogurt shop had an English accent. This made me oddly happy.

Got 3 rings at the street fair they had in my town. 2 of which are spinners, of which one is rainbow-colored with dragonflies on it. This also makes me happy. >u>

Later "fixed up" my friend's computer by introducing her to CCleaner as I'd been meaning to for awhile but never had the chance, and reinstalling Avast Antivirus on there since it wasn't working right. Did this since it already had a crash on her (after 2 years) and had to get basically restarted but was acting slow for some reason (which might have something to do with the new hard drive they had to put in; I wondered if it had a different speed than her old one). Hopefully this helps it, if at least prevents another crash.

Tomorrow (technically later) I'm hitting this craft fair I meant to go to (with my friend again, who also went to the street fair) but had no time due to leaving late. |D At least it runs for 2 days. Probably just gonna get food since that's what I usually get anyway.

Skyrim is looking somewhat tempting, but then, there's also Minecraft...

BLOG POST My friend likes

BLOG POST

My friend likes sending me a birthday card in the mail every year, this year being no different. I know my birthday is tomorrow, but it arrived today, and I didn't feel like waiting... >>
So I open it, and see these tiny pieces of heart glitter stuck to the outside of the card. I think, "Ok, I'll just be careful not to get glitter on the couch..."

Lo and behold, there's a ton more of heart glitter and along with a bunch of 25-shaped pieces inside the card. (It's more like small bits of confetti really.)
That would explain the lump I felt in the envelope.

So I spent 5 minutes carefully brushing the hearts and 25's from the card into the envelope, trying to keep it from sticking to the couch, the carpet...or my hands.

I think I succeeded...but if I find any glitter stuck in the couch or carpet a week from now, I'm blaming my friend. B|

So I gave in and bought Skyrim while I was out birthday-celebrating with my friend (I forsee more "25" glitter/confetti when I open the card she put with my gift >> ). She gave me colored Micron pens (2 shades of green, a black brush, and an orange brush. Anyone notice the significance of the colors? >u> ), a caribou figurine (I have the exact same one. XD; But it's ok, cuz I like the idea of being able to paint one now and still having the original.), an elk magnet, and a deer skull magnet.

And she said she wanted to try avoiding going all "deer" on me but failed. XD
