The reindeer blinked at the rather hyper way she greeted him, not expecting such a reaction. "Uh, hi Amadahy. Things have been pretty good actually. How about you?"

He lowered himself to the ground at her insistence, brows lowered a bit in concern at hearing she hadn't been great. He didn't ask about that, though; instead, a slight blush started at the "rumors" she'd heard. Rumors always had some basis in fact, and in this case, they were complete fact. For a moment, Toukan was tempted to act like he didn't know what she was talking about, but instead, he decided to answer in an indirect way. "...the one year anniversary is coming up..."

He snorted. "'Nice'?" Snickering followed. "You obviously don't know Kylar well." He wasn't a bad guy, no; he could be caring and considerate. But 'lusty bad boy' was more fitting than 'nice'. "But if you tried to kill him, I'd have to seek vengeance." The words were spoken too seriously and with too flat of an expression for him to really mean them. The corner of his mouth was even twitching up in his attempt to keep from laughing.
