This'll be ignored, I bet....
Ehh, i'll save my emo selfish rant for somewhere else.
But anyway.
I'm thinking of changing my characters a lot, and, for Totlecatl, because of you guys.
I've noticed a couple of blogs, not going to point out anyone specific, complaining about skull-mask'd people being mean in the forest. Part of that may have been spiked from me, and although I should feel bad, I don't. If i'm IC, i'm sorry I don't know you're OOC. But Totle does like to chase people. And as some people say, it is the character, not me.
As for Sorrel, i'm thinking of changing her design completely. Or maybe just deleting her. I'm really not sure, and i'm not sure about...anything. At the moment. I feel happier with complete strangers than with friends I actually know on here and have for a while...who are now very few. And afterwards, I can't even find them on here.
How on earth do you guys cope?

That sounds a little odd, but it'd work better than being labelled as a troll. And that 2nd part works too, as he has that sort of side to him.

On the one hand I think you should change your characters only because you want to, not because you feel you obligated to. Misunderstandings and mishaps are going to occur, regardless of personality, sets etc. We can't force everyone to make a character to our liking, but we can choose not to interact with them. If we're going to say that everyone is free to create their characters how they wish that needs to emcompass it all, the good, the bad, the quirky. However remaining IC isn't without it's consequences.
[Example, my main deer, Dhuddy, is standoffish, quirky, tempered, unresponsive and some would call him rude. That's probably cost him plenty of potential friends but that's something I except, as I like him as is.]
On the other , if it truly bothers you and you feel it will reflect poorly on you, then by all means do so. It helps to make clear the distinction between you and your character and show awareness of their actions, but even then you might see some protests. If you think he behavior is really that severe, which from reading his bio I'd say no, then you can always tone it down without completely abolishing who he is.
As said above, feel free to harass my deer, they're kind of hard to provoke into action.

And I thought about it a bit last night. I'm fairly happy with Sorrel, but I might change Totlecatl a bit. Just experiment with new spells and things. But i'll keep his personality. I might even make a third character, but i'm a bit unsure about that.
