Hey guys! Wanna do me a huge favor and look over this concept and give me your honest opinions? I really respect you guys and am consistently amazed by the character concepts you come up with; this is why I would love some constructive criticism in regards to this concept: A doe with a severe case of Multiple personality Disorder and other, underlying personality disorders.
Tell me please.... Is it too much, too confusing, or too... something?

Schizophrenia
Borderline Personality Disorder
Apperance… Idk. I'm so unimaginative.
Skull; Great Argus Pelt; default/candles/poppies/purples
Dissociative personality disorder
One body. Four personalities.
Alters
(These are who she shifts between.. Separate names eventually)

"2"

Things you should know
(Maybe this helps? Point out things that are confusing if you would be so kind ♥)
- Subtle changes in posture, tone, and expression that are common in those with MPD are depicted on this deer by the differing use of default, poppies, candles, and purple flowers.
- The four are very aware of one another and have intricate relationships amongst themselves. They view each other as separate beings.
- Just because a deer develops a relationship with one of the four it doesn't mean the three others would also consider that deer an acquaintance. It is possible however to develop relationships with all of them.
- When one takes damage, of course all three others will; only one body.. Though all four will most likely have different stories on how the injury was obtained; the only truth would come from the alter who was present at the time of the injury.
- The four will reveal themselves at different, seemingly random times.. Factors that could contribute to the relevance would be events, deer present, and overall mood.
- If a deer got close to one of the alters, they could have the ability to call upon that alter.
- If questioned about the different personalities, they would likely make some comment that you must have them confused with their friend "so and so".
- There is no "main" alter. The doe has no clue who she really is. There is a certain hierarchy between the four. For example, "1" is the most dominant while "4" is most submissive.
- The alters often converse with each other, talking about daily happenings and other deer. So, the alters have some idea of what the others have been doing in the forest but can only recall "their own" memories.
- Some of the four are quite mean, "2" especially.. If "2" attacked your deer, it would be completely understandable for them not to be forthcoming towards the doe, even if the alter being revealed wasn't actually "2". That alter would be confused of course but I as a player would understand completely considering all alters look/smell/are basically the same creature.
- "2" picks on "4"; "1" & "2" are in slight cohorts, usually agree; "1" mentally demeans "3"; "3" & "4" get along fairly well
Oh my, this sounds like a
I'd love to see you work more on this character.
I honestly love the idea.
I think this sounds awesome!

If you're able to keep up
I'll be blunt and honest If
Anyhow, good luck, and nice idea.
Honestly PLEASE be careful
I'll be honest with you and say that right now all I see is a mixture of very stereotyped images. Mental disorders are not tools to make a character interesting or to create an easy conflict. I think you mean well and it's great that you want to explore this difficult topic, and I don't think you mean any harm, but that's unfortunately how this comes across right now. Please be sensible and do a lot of research. Two or three internet resources are probably not enough. You will need to fully understand what each illness is, what its causes are, and how exactly it affects the way a person thinks, feels and lives. Wikipedia is nice but can only do so much. Read a lot, and constantly ask yourself "is this an accurate representation of a person with that disorder?". With five different disorders this is gonna be a tough one.
Please do not sugarcoat mental disorders or romanticize them. If you go at this the wrong way you'll just end up with a flat and possibly offensive character. Obviously you want to base this character on a mental illness/multiple mental illnesses. You have some personality traits described, but most of them seem to pertain to the illness. Things like "dumb" and "ADHD" undermine a harmful and negative stereotype. Please remember that people with mental disorders are still individuals with their own quirks, traits and personality. They do not become textbook examples of a mental disorder and are still very varied and have a personality that is unique to them. Characters with mental illnesses have to be treated with extra care if you want to do it proper.
Now this might've sounded bad but like I said, I don't think you mean any harm and good on you for wanting to explore those topics. It would be cool if you could really pull off a good, sensible character with DID. It just takes a lot of research which is really important. Here are a few good resources on writing characters with mental disorders that do a much better job at explaining the issues connected with it:

I agree with Unplugged
A character like this carries a lot of weight. If you are going to continue with this, it will be a very difficult endeavor. I wish you luck, as this is going to be a wild ride.
thank you all so much for
I won't be trying to play this concept any time soon and there will likely be many changes before I ever would.
Thanks again ♥
