(fail title is super-fail)
Alright, I have my computer back, and can play TEF again! But this blog will still continue. Feel free to start a new interaction, even if you were part of one that already ended.
-----
I originally made this as a roleplay blog, but I decided to change it. But it can still be used for roleplay, too. Basically, here you can interact with any of my deer in any way you want. Introduce yourself, ask questions, whatever you want to do. It can be in roleplay form if you want, but it doesn't have to be. It's all up to you.
If you want, you can even address more than one of my deer, or even all of them, at the same time. Like if you want to ask them all a question, for example.
Links to all character bios can be found
here.
----------
Amary could be found wandering near the pond, watching the other deer playing. This was one of her favorite areas, as there was usually plenty of activity here. She is easy to approach, always willing to make new friends, and always happy to greet old friends.
As usual, Melinoe could be found in the ruins, sitting in front of the stairs that lead down into the open pit, where she likes to sleep. She looks passive, but is always alert, watching and listening for anyone who might cause trouble. Those who don't already know her (and even most that do) should approach with caution.
Oisín could be found near the crying idol, sitting among the poppies. He appears calm, simply admiring the landscape. He is not hard to approach, but may act a bit shy around those he doesn't know.
In the birch forest, Hope was sitting alone among the tall grass, where the young deer, not quite fully grown, was fairly well hidden. He is generally friendly, but a bit skittish among new faces, and best approached slowly by those he doesn't know.
Phoenix was resting by a rock near the center of the blue bowl, where she tended to remain unless coaxed out. Afraid of the unknown and frightened by strangers, the young doe is best approached at a slow pace, with the exception of friends and family. If startled, she may run.
The peryton was perched atop the largest boulder in the playgrounds, wings folded, gazing out across the land, watching everything. The human skull he wears on his head might deter some, but he is more friendly than he may appear. Only humans have anything to worry about from him.
"Unofficial" deer:
Maera and
Andras.
These are deer versions of two of my fantasy characters. They are mostly inactive, but can still be interacted with.
Bows slowly also... "Um...."?
She blinked. A little
Did she hear that? She could've been imagening things. Should she say something? Her eyes drifted off, staring at the poppies. She bit her lip, deciding she'd be quiet. She should pay attention though.
Polt perked her ears.
"Another family? Are Scape and Zerg not your real parents?"
She tilted her head.
"I really thought so. But, hey, please do tell. How come you don't remember them? Because if you can remember you had other parents, you must remember something else too."
((sorry I wasn't here
Munkel:
She looked him over curiously. There wasn't much for her to say at this point, and she'd never been very good with conversation in any case. In fact, she tended to avoid it.
With a small sigh, Melinoe stared out into the distance. Her thoughts began to wander, as they often did, and her dark eye began to take on a distant look (her other eye, being blind, was always vacant).

Willet:
Hope blinked. "Hm? How am I? F-fine...I guess... Um..." He nervously pawed at the ground. "S-so, uh, what is your name, anyway? I...I'm Hope."

((fffffffsekfijgiheo..... I have pllaaannsss...sort of...but I need my computer. x.x; ))
As much as he wanted to elaborate, Oisín wasn't quite ready yet to tell her how he felt. He wanted to do something special...
He blinked, looking over at her. "Didn't I tell you they adopted me? Hmm, well, yeah. I don't exactly remember having other parents. Actually I'd never really thought about it much before now... It's just that, the earliest thing I can remember is waking up one day as a fawn, and I was alone then. Then I met Scape, and we bonded fast. Since I didn't have any parents around, he decided to take me in. I only know I must have had other parents before, because I'm pretty sure I didn't just appear out of thin air. Even if it feels like that sometimes." He smiled. "But, I don't remember them...and Scape and Zerg raised me. So, to me, they are my real parents. Even if we don't share blood, that doesn't really matter."
"Mmmyyy

She blushed, put her ears down in her neck. "I don't remember you doing so. Sorry if I offended you.." She shivered a little. "No, I'm sure fawns don't appear out of thin air. Though the magic in this forest is hard to deny. And I don't think blood matters much either. It doesn't change much about love." She shivered again, raising her neckhair. "It's cold today isn't it?" Poltergeist let out a deep breath. "But atleast I think spring is coming, right?"
She loved winter though. The long nights in which she could hide were a delight. Poltergeist let out a yawn.
He looked at her, wondering
"...are you ok?"
Willet: ((lol Hope is a boy.
((lol Hope is a boy. X3 I know Hope is a girl's name, but I didn't choose it, he was really created by Arrikanez. There is a reason for the name, though.))
"I think I like Whisper better." Hope sat down as well. "My name...is pretty?" he blushed a bit. "S-sorry, I know that's supposed to be a compliment...it's just...everyone thinks it's a girl's name, b-but I'm not a girl. Do...do I look like a girl? I...I mean...I don't really mind so much, except...I don't want to confuse anyone..."

Misako:
((No, I didn't see those! I haven't really been keeping up with everything very well. I don't know when I'll get my computer back. It's been more than two weeks, I was hoping to have it back now. I actually might not need it, though, my "plan" isn't really much, just something simple))
He chuckled lightly. "I am not offended. I think it would take a great deal to offend me, and I don't think you're in any danger of doing so."
He looked at her. "Is it cold? I hadn't really noticed." He moved closer so that they touched, and curled around her. "Is that better then?" He noted her yawn. "Are you tired?"

Munkel:
Melinoe blinked, coming back to the present. "I...Sorry. My mind...wanders sometimes, when it is quiet. And...I am not used to socializing, so it can be a bit...difficult for me."

"I'm glad..." Polt smiled. "I can be very offensive though. But let's not try it out." She grinned, sticking out her tongue teasingly.
"Well, it is to me. Maybe I'm getting sick? I sure don't hope so." She watched him curl around her, and tensed up. All of a sudden, she got scared. Why did she? What was wrong?
"I'm sorry Oisín.. I'm not quite myself." She smiled, a forced smile. "I guess I'm tired yes.. Maybe I should go.. I'm sorry." Polt had already risen to her hooves as she spoke the sentence. She noticed she was shaking.
"I'm sorry r-really, I h-have t-t-to g-go n-now.."
Willet: He smiles shyly.
He smiles shyly. "Well, I like how it sounds. Ace is a nice name, too, but...it just seems like Whisper suits you better. I mean, even though we just met...but it's just...it just seems that way to me."

Misako:
((I'm not gonna do what I was thinking of, actually. I changed my mind. But, I do have something, and it should be up soon.))
Oisín blinked, confused, and looked up worriedly at Polt as she stood up. "P...Polt? I'm sorry, did I...?" He wondered if he had done something wrong. Maybe he'd gone too far? He stood up and turned toward her. "Are you alright?"
He smiles, "That would be

She took some steps back, and as she did, scanned her environment for some kind of escape. She didn't want to run, though. She didn't even want to go for that matter.
She let out a sigh. "I didn't mean to act like that.." As she spoke, she stared at the emerald around her neck. "Maybe I just have to go, to calm down and get my mind straight again. Don't worry it's not your fault.."
day4: "It's...kinda hard to
"It's...kinda hard to choose. I like the area in the birch forest with all the rocks, because they're fun. But I spend more time at the pond, because I can usually find a lot of other deer here. And I like the water. But every part of the forest has something to like. What about you?"
----
Willet:
"Yeah. My dad named me that because when we...I mean, me and my brothers...were born, he was going through a hard time, and he said we gave him hope. So I don't even care if anyone thinks it's a girl's name, because it was given to me for a good reason." He paused for a moment, and then looked over at Whisper. "Um...I'm sorry you don't remember your birth name. But, maybe you'll remember it some day."

Munkel:
"I'm curious. You intrigue me. But...If you would rather not talk about your past, I won't ask about it..."
----
Misako:
His attention was brought to the emerald when she looked at it. He'd been meaning to ask about it...But this probably wasn't a good time. "Well...okay..." He sighed. "It's okay. I understand. If there's anything I can do... Well, it's up to you."
He ponders for a mement. "I

I just remember how my beloved mother was, the most beautiful of all angels with such a kind-hearted smile. I also remember some of my childhood times... I was very happy then.
I really hope to regain my memory one time..."
He's gaze is full of regret, but he's still smiling.
"Well, how about you? You also don't have to answer if you don't want to. I'm just curious myself..."

Walking with a slow gait, the old stag steps into shallows of the pond. Six crimson eyes glance about, scanning the area for familiar faces. Soon two eyes lock on a familiar antlered doe, and a sort of 'smile' pulls onto his skull. "Hnn...? Amary? It has been... a while. Where... have you been?" he inquires curiously.
-To Oisin
Unusually calm, Zerg skipps along the side of the slow river leading from the crying idol to the lake, making her way to the crying idol. "Oisín?" she calls, slowing to a walk before reaching the idol. Catching sight of her adoptive son, she smiles and sits beside him. "Mornin'." She greets cheerfully.
day4: "Oh, I love it there,
"Oh, I love it there, too. And they're fun to play on. But just sitting is nice, too. It's a nice veiw there."
-----
Munkel:
"Hm...Now I understand what I sensed. I know little of angels, however." Her face remained impassive as it usually did, showing little emotion. "I never speak of my past, although there is really not much to speak of. What I will say is that I am much older than this body. I have had others, but I have no true body. And I did not choose this one."
-----
Willet:
He laughed a little. "Yeah, no laws." He paused a moment, taking in what Whisper had said. "That's interesting... So where are you from, then? I was born here, and I've never been anywhere else, so I don't know what it's like in other places."
-----
Zerg: ((yay!))
"Oh, Darkweaver!" She trotted over to greet him with a nuzzle. "I should ask you the same, I haven't even seen you around much lately. How are you?"
((I haven't even thought of how to explain why she hasn't been around))
Oisín turned at the sound of his mother's voice. "Mother!" Smiling, he nuzzles her. "It's wonderful to see you. How have you been?"

She smiles warmly and returns the nuzzle. "I've been very well! Just enjoying the morning and a quick chat with the dragonflies." She awnsers cheerfully. "Though before I forget, I need to tell you something." She mentions. Not really ready to say what she had to, she adds. "But first, how've you been, yourself, son?" she asks.
ooc: Wow, I don't think I've ever actually RPd Zerg on the comm. site... except for like once or twice. XD
(Wow, stressed Misako forgot
Wish I had another drawing.)
She nodded. "I'm sorry, I am!" She gave him a quick nuzzle, staring at him one last time. Poltergeist turned around, and trottet off again. "I'll see you around Oisín!" She called out.
Poltergeist dissapeared through the tree's. She looked behind her, at the place she had been walking away from.
She collapsed against a tree, sobbing to herself.
Munkel: She might have
She might have laughed, except that laughing was something she simply did not do, and a smile was almost as rare. But there was a hint of amusement in her tone when she spoke. "A ghost? Do I look like a ghost?" She gave her head a slight shake. "It is not as simple as that. Some might call me a demi-goddess of sorts, although I don't think I quite fit the definition. I don't think there really is a word that would accurately describe what I am."
------
Willet:
"It sounds like it must have been tough living there. I don't think I'd survive in a place like that. I've never been really lucky, and I'm kind of clumsy. So when did you come here?"
----
Zerg:
"I'm good, except I've been missing all my friends. It seems like I don't see some of them a lot any more." She tilted her head slightly, a look of worry crossing her face, noting the pauses in his speech. "Are you sure you're alright? You sound...tired. Or...something..."
-
"I have been quite well myself." He smiled. "So what is it you have to tell me?"

Misako:
((oh, that's okay, yay weekend!))
Oisín watched her leave, then sat down with a sigh. He wanted to go after her, but she'd made it clear she needed to be alone for a while. He only wished he could do something.

"Good to know." She says happily. She closes her brownish red eyes, tilting her head back to enjoy the warmth of the sunlight beaming down on them. "It's good news, but a bit hard to explain. Guess I'm still getting used to the idea myself." she laughs. Opening her eyes again, she looks back at Oisin. "In a few months... you're going to be a big brother." she states, smiling.

Munkel:
"An angel that is uncertain about the existence of gods? Again, there was a small hint of amusement in her voice. "It is not a title I would give to myself. I am not even sure I believe in gods myself, at least not the sort most mortals like to worship. In any case, I have not always been here. Although I was born into this body..."

Willet:
"Were you a fawn when you came here? You seem like you might be kind of close to my age."

Zerg:
Amary's ears perked up at the mention of Bast. "You've seen Bastilion? It's been so long since I've seen him, it seems like ages... For some reason I seem to think of him more than anyone else." She paused, seeming to be lost in though for a moment, before turning her attention back to Dark. "Well, maybe you should rest, then." She pawed the ground, inviting him to join her as she sat.
Oisín gasped, his eyes widening in surprise and excitement at the news. "Mother! That is wonderful news!" If he were human, he would have wrapped his arms around her in a tight embrace. He settled for nuzzling her affectionately, and laying his neck across hers in a kind of deer version of a hug. "It's about time, I think." He chuckled. "You've told Father, right?"
Shook his head gentaly "No no
Dark nodded. "He stayed
Zerg laughed happily as Oisin reacted so well to the news. She wasn't sure how such news would normally have been taken, but she was glad he found the news wonderful. "Yep, I was sure to tell him first." She responds. "Though I think I'll wait a few more weeks before telling the dragonflies... you know how they gossip." She laughs.

"Really?" She blushed a little. "What...What makes you think so? Did he...say something?"
"Hm, since I can't understand them, I'm not sure. But who would they tell aside from family? But maybe you're not quite ready for them to know, either." Another chuckle. He lifted his head and shifted so that he was leaning against her. "It seems Polt is expecting, too..." He sighed. "She told me after I told her how I feel. She also said she's not ready for a new relationship yet... But, I'm not really upset. I mean, I kind of wish things could be different, but I don't mind waiting for her. In the meantime...I just want to help her out as much as I can."

I think my dad came from somewhere else, though. I should ask him about it some time..." He paused, and then looked curiously at Whisper, tilting his head a bit. She was silent for a moment, looking off into the distance and thinking. "...I suppose there is no reason not to tell you this. I am not entirely immortal. I can die, so to speak, though not easily. Before I was born into this body, I lived in another one, and I have had other bodies before that. Should I die somehow, it is really only the body that dies, and I then move on to a new one. Although there have been times when I had no body at all, and exist simply as...an "essence"...for lack of a better term...without form, just as I was in the beginning. Either way, I always retain my memories and abilities. It is not quite the same as rebirth, as my identity remains the same, even though my form may change. It is all a part of my very nature...a unity of life and death, light and shadow..."

Melinoe blinked as if she couldn't believe her eyes. It was as if her thoughts had come to life before her...she had been thinking about him quite a lot lately, mostly wondering why he never seemed to be around, and why she seemed to feel so...empty...when he wasn't there. For a moment, she wondered if her eyes were playing tricks on her. But she could sense him, as well as see him. When she heard his voice, she knew he was really there, although it appeared that he had not noticed her. For just a second, she wondered why he hadn't noticed her, then quickly decided it didn't matter.
"...Janjaweed..." Her voice was quiet. She stood to take a few steps toward him, trying to ignore the mixture of emotions that was always there when she saw him.

Melinoe looked up as she sensed the spirit's presence. She blinked...it was unusual that she actually saw a spirit. Standing, she offered a bow, something she did very rarely...but the dead always deserved respect, far more than the living. "Greetings, spirit...I am Melinoe."

Melinoe frowned, her eyes narrowing. She hadn't expected such a cool reception. Her opinion of the ghost suddenly dropped. "Hmph...I only thought to show some respect, but it seems you are not as deserving as I had thought. Such arrogance for a ghost... You are no better than a mortal."
