Oh, why not... Opinions on Nanetta and Jade?

Yep, I guess I'll jump on this bandwagon
Just wondering you're guys' opinion on my two main characters.

Nanetta's changed a lot since I first created her... She started out shy and her experiances have changed her into to a bolder, cockier character. She's also sometimes overly emotional.
Jade's one I could see people having a problem with, she's pretty indifferent, and isn't afraid to hurt feelings. She gets involved in a lot of fights and disagrements.

Just pretty much wondering what you guys think of these two and if you have any advice to better my playing of them in forest and help with chacter development ^^. Also if there's any issues you'd like to adress.
I'd respect and like any opinion on either one or both characters, good or bad ^^.

I'm really surprised (in a good way) how much Nane's developed. I love how she's turned from shy and laid back, to a headstrong, willful female who desires nothing but happiness and safety for her friends and family. HF and I always love seeing her in the forest <3

Jade is a curious one. Her character makes me want to dig deeper, and find out more about her and her mysterious past. Those kinds of characters always intrigue me, and you play her very well. Sometimes I don't know how Honeyfur or Roxanne should respond, but that just adds to the mystery. It's like a puzzle, because every time she meets Honey or Roxy, I try out different puzzle pieces to see if one fits. It's really fun and interesting to interact with her <3

You know, I remember the days back when both Nane and HoneyFur just derped the day away |D
I miss those days sometimes but it's amazing to see how far they've come from that.

edit: pffft, im sleepy and overlooked th second part of that the first time I read that |D
That's pretty neat how you described that, like trying to put pieces together in a puzzle.
Sometimes I find her hard to play because she keeps so much to herself and keeps emotions hidden where as Nane lets everything show on the surface and is very intuned to her emotions.

Oh I do too! I remember the day they first met, when Nane was big (LOL sorry Nane xD *shot*) and we derped around and sat with Cu. Those were the good ol' days <3 Yeah, but, in a way, forest drama can be just as exciting, but it lacks laughter (unless we accidentally hit the laugh hotkey, LOL). It is amazing how much they've matured and grown as characters. I never expected them to get this far, but I guess it's the beauty of your own creations; you'll never know where they take you <3

Heh, yeah, that can be challenging. HF's a good girl, while Roxy is the complete opposite most of the time xD But I think you handle it really well! I can deffinately see a personality difference between Nane and Jade in-game ;]

Like Honeyfur mentioned I love how much Nane has grown personality wise (though not so much in height -shot-)
From a flirtatious shy doe,to a feisty,loyal companion to most.I love her insight and reading her journals about how she takes life on.
Overall,I and Pho are always endeared by her company <3

And for Jade,I think she is a well thought out character.She has a mysterious past and personality that I would like to learn more from.Which is why my doe has a very keen intrest in her.

I wasn't around when Nane was

I wasn't around when Nane was big, however I have seen her attacking Pierce. I like her, because she is cocky, doesn't seemed bothered by her size, and looking at everyone else's comments I see Nane has matured.

Jade, I've seen alot of her in the recent RP. I will admit I was surprised when she snapped at Pierce, as now everyone seems to hate Pierce when he says one thing. She also did seem friendly at first, or curious, shy. But when she got angry and angrier, I know more about her- A friendly doe, however she will get in a fight easily. She sorta reminds me of myself IRL. Which is creepy, however that is why I like Jade. It would be interesting to see her more in-forest.

Yes, sadly my characters never seem to get along with yours |D

Jade's an odd one, though not shy at all... She's usually polite upon first meeting though, until given a reason to behave otherwise. She's also very agressive, especially here lately lol...
Pierce is meeting her at an unfortunate time lol.

I have to admit Jade appeared

I have to admit Jade appeared to me as rather "ordinary" when i first saw her around. I think that has to be because - as you say - she keeps to herself and keeps emotions hidden, so her actions are often just what you expect. Also her set is kind of general to me (real deer mask, real deer pelt), and those seem to go right past me without me noticing it. However, when i did notice her, she certainly seemed like an interesting character. I'm also impressed to see how much you're aware of how she should act according to what she has been through, something that tells me she's a well developed character.
I don't know your other characters.

I wanted her to blend in, to be rather "ordinary" at first glance (im glad someone got that) because she doesn't put out very much, and thus is very easy just to put under the radar...
I wanted her to have some mystery so other characters would actually have to get to know her instead of knowing everything about her after the first meeting ^^
