Check your internet connection to see if you have any WiFi or not. If not, you may need to restart your router. It could also be that the server overloaded and dumped everyone at the time you took that screenshot; this happens sometimes, but is always fixed almost right away.

Hi Barrenflower, did you log into the game via the in game menu and press 'connect' ? Sometimes the game doesn't connect automatically. Also, make sure TEF isn't being blocked by your internet firewall and virus protection programs (they can prevent the game connecting to the server if it isn't on the 'allow' list).

And you've tried logging in by entering your account info and password into the menu and then clicking connect?

Some members experience difficulty connecting to the game server for mysterious reasons. Unfortunately the tips for this are really hit or miss but here are some suggestions:

- If you are using a laptop, try connecting to the game while using a different wifi/internet connection. If you can connection fine with this new internet service, you will know the issue is with your previous connection.

- If you are using a router, reboot your router.

- Uninstall the game, being sure you have completely removed all files associated with the game. Now, download and install the game again and attempt to connect.

That's all I can think of right now, but I hope either one of these works or another member can offer better advice.

AH thank you so much AlisonRobin, I should have included that under 'different connection'! S'been a long day.

I don't think it's a server error as we haven't had anyone else post about it today (the server was also reset recently so it should be running smoothly). Moonsight try following the advice in the comments above and seeing of any of those solve the issue. Otherwise there unfortunately isn't much we can do, the TEF server is notorious for giving mysterious connection errors.
