This is being done for the Illustrated challenge on cghub (http://cghub.com/forum/index.php) which is running a tribute to Hayao Miyazaki who is the person responsible for Princess Mononoke, Spiritied Away and Howls Moving castle. Will be updating this fairly regularly (hopefully) though its only really sketchy at the moment ^^;

Oooh, these are beautiful.

Oooh, these are beautiful. The diffused silvery glow in the first one...and the shading on the tree roots in the second..are gorgeous. I love Spirited Away--it was the first Miyazaki film I ever saw, and it left a deep impact on me. I haven't seen Princess Mononoke yet, but I want to! (My deer wears the Forest Spirit mask, after all.) Can't wait to see what else you come up with. Smiling

Wow, it turned out

Wow, it turned out wonderful.... not that it was really a surprise. =)
I love the athmosphere, it feel so similar to the feeling of the movie.

Finally Finished, its not a big change from the last one but i messed about with the colours and made the top bit darker so it wasnt staring you in the face any more
