Name: Goes by many and any names. Currently Hamsa.

Age: Undisclosed
Species: Unknown, various descriptions. Often described as a 'spirit', 'genie', 'god'. Is essentionally a wish-fulfiller, makes up a balance of good and evil with his twin brother. Represents the good side on the balance. Has many forms in literature and legends.

Scent: Very neutral, picks up most scents around him. Seems to very vaguely smell of vanilla though.
Location: Sunspots his brother finds.
Voice: Has a big range of tones in his voice, and sounds generally very gender neutral. Can go from soothing to screeching depending on his mood and the situation. Concerning wishes, he will be as gentle and soothing sounding as he can. Concerning his brother bullying him, he can turn into a screeching banshee if he doesn't get his way.
Positive: Very friendly and welcoming, cheerful, likes to play, helpful, patient, confident.
Negative: Self-centered, narcissistic, jealous, whiny, hoarder.
Interaction: Hamsa generally welcomes just about anyone, as long as they're not stomping on him or screaming in his ears. Likes to play with fawns and adults alike, and will happily go and investigate just about anyone. Especially if they smell of food. Not very good at discerning others from 'objects' though, after a long time of being stuck in a realm with nobody but his brother around, pretty much every living creature seems like a thing. Has a hard time imagening others their feelings, but is pretty good at acting as if he does. Thus tends to view most interactions as "playing with pets/animals". Also very much used to human realms, which makes it all the more confusing to be talking to deer.
Tends to try and outdo his brother in collecting the prettiest "pet".

When it comes to wishes and fulfilling them, Hamsa is the welcoming one with the proposal. Will try to sway the wisher into his favor, so they set the deal. Likes the attention mainly, but the wishes give him a reason to exist as well. Without them, Hamsa is little more but an idea.

Updates

Awakening again. Spending time mostly with his brother, ventured once in a while to meet and greet some interesting faces. Likes the teeny tiny ones, they're cute, and everyone seems to gather around them. Played with one and it's bird for a while, all whilst others were watching. More tinies joined, and other deer, and it was great. Went back to tell his brother, but he was sleeping. Eh.

Today woke up by two fawns, greeted them shortly then watched them go to the next most interesting deer (Ehrune). Greeted him too, before going to look around with his brother.

Stumbled upon a somewhat shattered-seeming group, with a lot of kids! Waved like a maniac at Neela, who just frowned at him. Aw? Do you not like your earrings anymore? I did my best on them. Watched as Sitra went to frustrate Isiel and her kid. Frowned at him when he came back, jerk! Never really gets why they're all so mad with him in hindsight though. You agreed, do you not like your kid anymore?

Greeted by another kid (AHN) and later their companions, Umay and (?? sorry I wasn't quick enough with clicking the map at this point XD) someone. Greeted them happily, until another (Z'ev) started getting inbetween him and whoever he greeted. Who the heck are you?? Got pretty upset at this point, unsupported by his brother and generally shunned. Realised he was briefly followed by one of the kids (AHN), but figured the result would continue to be the same. Went to sob somewhere against a tree, before returning to his brother's side. Surely, at some point he'll make friends that don't hate him after?

Being

The wish fulfiller

Hamsa is half of the balance, the good half so to speak. He is the one to be prayed to, people make statues of, leave food offerings for. Only so he can be swayed into their favor, fulfilling their deepest wishes and desires. Does so cheerfully! Loves the food and jewelry he is brought, and the attention coming with being the good half. Well aware hs brother is left in the dark, but extremely needed to complete the deals. Sometimes shares with him. Doesn't like silver much, so he can have that.

Anyone can ask Hamsa for a wish. And he will assisst however possible. His brother will propose the downside that is needed to complete the wish, to keep the balance. And Hamsa will insist this downside is only a neccessary evil. It's easy to overcome.
The entity can sometimes be seen looking around for those who 'need' his help. Giving him food, jewelry or items might cause the wish to be just a bit better. He might make it more difficult for his brother to fulfill the downside with a promise. Generally it is good to please the good half.

His personality

Can come across as a bit childish or simple, but is mostly a pretty decent actor. Whatever he needs to be he will be, but is generally very bad at behaving like a badass or evil in any way. Can definitly be mean though, and is very jealous whenever his brother is shown any favor.

Generally Hamsa is very friendly and positive, but not always easy to get along with due to his whiny nature. Doesn't like it when things don't go his way after centuries of being the favourite. Bummed by the lack of food offering the forest brings him as well.
Happy to help, his sole reason of existing. Gets tired and lethargic without wishes to fulfill, and generally much more moody.

Very vain, likes to decorate himself and looking at his reflection in the pond. Really likes his looks in this forest, and is pretty sure anyone else does too. Of course far better than his white-dominant, black faced skinny twig of a brother.

The body

Size-wise Hamsa is fairly average, and quite a bit smaller than his brother. Has a sturdy build, fairly chubby and big boned. His hanging antlers, which aren't even attatched make it impossible for him to fight. Let alone not being used to a deer body. So, doesn't fight, and if the situation would arise is more likely to run or hide behind his twin. Who is a lot more able-bodied.
Is in essence and entity and knows many forms. But so far unable to leave the endless forest after being thrown in there from the void. Feels it is better to have some meat to himself as opposed to being a cloud in a place that doesn't really exist. Does feel pain and his body can be harmed, but possibly unable to die. Hasn't tried it, not really going to try it either.

Ties

His brother, his younger twin. Though if you ask Sitra, Hamsa is the younger one. Has known him his entire life, and even previous to that. His rival, his equal. Sitra and Hamsa are a bickering pair who can't live with or without eachother, and are usually found together. Loves his brother very much, but definitly doesn't always show this.


Harassing fairy kid. Mocked him at first, later came back for a wish. Of course, they always do. Fulfilled her wish to have some silver earrings, but was more looking forward to Sitra's counter-action. A giant nose and a shrink ray, perfect. Thinks the fawn is okay, but will likely be cross with untill she brings him food.


First bigger wishers. Morgül wanted a pair of eyes. Finds him kind of an ass, but complimented him all over anyway to sway him to his good side. Seemed Sitra was more successfull in that by also being an ass. Likely ass likes ass, who knew. Alice seemed nice.


A couple he found staring into the pond in a rather forlorn manner. Managed to coax his brother into chatting with these two because it seemed they really needed help. Very exited to hear that was indeed true, and that they wished for a child. A big wish, a really big wish. Made it difficult for his brother by promising nobody would die. Because Sitra was an ass to him previously. That's what you get.


Rude figure. Came by to insult the twins, saying he'd never have anything worth their deals. Sure, sure. Of course he came back begging. Made sure not to help this one in any sort of way, letting his brother hit as hard as he could.


Found the stag in the birch. Thought he was quite pleasant, helped him to be able to reach the magic inside of him. His brother laying quite a heavy price down. Wasn't able to do much for the stag.


The snooty angel who accidentally summoned him and Sitra into the forest. Amused by, might bully later. Stole his energy upon entering the forest to create bodies for him and his twin.

Chronicles

• Entered the forest by accident due to a mistake on Altijd's side. Knocked the angel unconcious.
• Hoarded a lot of easter eggs. Not looking forward to having to eat grass, ew.
• Met Neela, fulfilled a wish for her. Six silver earrings, elegantly resting in her ears.
• Met Morgül, fulfilled a wish for him. Giving him back his eyesight to marvel upon his mate.
• Met Isiel, fulfilled a wish for her. A tiny assistence in concieving so their family could begin to grow.
