The Wildcard: Look. We aren't really sure how Jezabelle will act in this years rut let us be honest. I do still struggle to play her at times. Therefore, at times she may fluctuate between the role of Judge or Challenger and will likely take great joy in causing some raucous with other rivals and testing her strength, just as much as she enjoys using her femenine wiles to drive challengers mad. Jezabelle’s origins are both known and unknown. Jezabelle and her twin-brother Jareth were born into the forest as seemingly regular fawns by seemingly regular parents; Schism and Daenerys. They were both raised for a time until they were old enough to fend for themselves, after this, Jezabelle found herself isolated and had no close contact with her parents or her sibling. Instead, Jezabelle had to fend for herself, and with this, grew quite bitter. Eventually, Jezabelle was found by an outside force - a wayward demon, which drastically changed the course of events to come. Not much is known of this demonic force, other than it once possessed a deer called Feathercrest, the now deceased brother of a doe called Ravenflight. From this demon, Jezabelle’s youth was stolen and the doe was propelled into adulthood. It is believed that from this occurrence, her serpentine powers and appearance were given in exchange. Nothing else is known of the reasons of her sudden aging other than a potential pawn or vessel.
Due to these events, Jezabelle is incredibly reluctant and unsure, and chooses to stick to what she knows, which unfortunately is not a great deal. Her notions of family and friends are very vague and sceptical as she has grown resentful, with only shreds of memories coming to her in soft visions occasionally. In order to combat her disposition of feeling lost, the doe puts up walls and appears unapproachable and grumpy. However, amongst all this there is a certain craving for affection and to surround herself with what she has lacked. Attempts to meet others are often very difficult for her but with time and persistence can grow to like others.

Jezabelle is a highly protective creature, both of self and others. Because Jezabelle has had to fend for herself, her self-importance and survival is paramount and will always look after her own needs before others. However, for those who become close to Jezabelle, she will protect just as she would herself, fearing that she may lose them. This behaviour however, is not as obvious on her scaly, cool exterior – a lot of the doe’s protectiveness for others is usually held within. She will keep a watchful eye and harm any that dare to harm hers without second thought – striking with intense, viper-like aggression.

Jezabelle can comfortably be in another’s company given time, and can easily resort into play. The snake-does styles of play however, always seem to have a sinister air to it. Whilst Jezabelle can be silly, the doe much prefers rough-play and sneaking, of which she is unrivaled. Jezabelle can crouch quite low and weave through the forest quite easily and tread incredibly silent to sneak on unsuspecting victims.

However, when it comes to intimacy of physical and emotional – the scale is incredibly imbalanced. Jezabelle struggles with the concept of being so emotionally linked to another, which often confuses and frustrates her on observing others. The doe, other than developing friendships to some extent, does not know how to create deep emotional links with others, or those she may love. To counteract this, the doe is quite passionate and physically intimate as she believes it will make up for her fear and struggle to be close to others. Herein lies the doe’s most vulnerable spot – whilst she is quite wary of those she welcomes as friends, when it comes to a love interest, the emotional rope is very weak and Jezabelle has poor judgement of who may be manipulating it and using it to their advantage. Heartbreak can turn her heart to stone, and is usually quite difficult to break from; the cycle of getting close to others is a very destructive one to initiate if it were to turn bad.

Whilst Jezabelle seems to be full of contradictions and barriers, ultimately, the doe desires to establish some form of relationship with others and be far less insular. She may maintain her distance at times, but the does not mean that she does not outright care.
