Recent: Woke up and decided to paint her fur white. Figuring it be a nice change for a while, took a walk towards the crying idol. Settling in the flowers calmly, awaiting for the day to unravel. Feel asleep shortly after, waking up to the sounds of light footsteps. Spotting a little deer she's seen near Allison quite a while ago. Greeted the cutie, and proceeded to romp around the best her old bones could. Commenting to herself she was getting too old for such movement, but none the less enjoyed herself, cuddled with the little one dozing off in its company.

And to avoid confusion, he is temporarily sticking with the brown pelt because it reminds him of a friend he hasn't seen in a while He probably gave poor Veil a lot of confusion when he kept shaking his head no... but it wasn't anything personal!

O That's why he did that. Ya Myszka shaking his head confused her a lot, but I think she caught on to what he was trying to say after awhile.
Ears flick back and forth whilst the red buck rocks forward on his hooves, sniffing at the female through the gaps in the mask concealing his features; he eyes her magnificent pelt, somewhat pleased at the fact that it resembles his a little in colour. "Hello, miss," he says, albeit a little quietly.
Grinning at the male, the doe lowers her head in a curtsy. Allowing her left foot to bend fully before raising herself back up. Returning a few sniffs, while picking her ears up to listen to the male. "Why hello sir, how are you this fine day?" Veil says replying as politely and cheerfully as she could.
He breathes in her scent for a few seconds longer before replying. She smells nice - the word comforting, perhaps even motherly, comes to mind. He returns the gesture, bowing his head and leaning down in a bow before pulling himself back up. "I can't complain," he grins, his smile only slightly visible between the gaps in his skull-like mask. "What about you, miss?" Absentmindedly he raises a hindleg to scratch at his side, the slightly chipped hoof running through surprisingly sleek crimson fur with ease.
Watching the male's movements with comfort the female pauses a bit, as if she was truthfully thinking how her day was. "Well I can't say it's been a bad one, since my day has only just begun. But I guess meeting a kinda male like yourself could count as a plus." Her grin widens as she watches the male run his hind leg through his own dark red coat. Wondering a bit to herself if she could do the same.
The red buck's ears twitch as he listens to the doe speak. "That's good to hear," is his reply, and he lowers his leg, the corners of his lips being pulled further upwards at the compliment. He glances down at the ground, and digs a hoof into the dirt, not sure what to do next.
If Myszka's keeping his distance, it's not anything personal Dx There are (or hopefully, were) some fawns trolling around the Ruins and kept pelt spamming him and Veil.
But on a side note, Veil's just an adorable bunny xD ~

I'm sorry about later on in the Birch- Somehow Myszka got stuck in the air after falling asleep during dancing; don't quite know how it happened buut yeah.. he couldn't get down and say good-bye ._.
The young doe stayed back, hiding herself--rather, trying to hide herself--in a patch of tall prairie grass. Her brow creased with a twinge of worry. She hadn't met this doe who was so close to Myszka's heart before. Sodesi wanted to meet Veil, though. She hadn't really given much thought to dropping by, but regret tinged her mind when she remembered that she hadn't mentioned to her brother that she was going.
Desi was conflicted as she hesitated. Her curiosity won her over, and she stepped out of the grasses.
"I'm Desi," said she, ducking her head in respect.
Nodding her head Veil bows down to the smaller doe; gracefully letting her feet glide across the ground. Raising her head back up she smiles warmly as her eyes scan the doe sweetly; "Why hello, I'm Veil. It's a pleasure to meet you." Clearly she speaks, with a regal tone to her voice. Happy to have some company, even if it was someone she didn't know.
"I am Sodesi," she said. "Myszka...I think that he knows you...well, he is my brother."
She was reassured by the other does tone and expression, and already was beginning to feel more at ease.
Looking at the doe, Veil laughs softly. "My, what a beautiful name. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Sodesi. I'm Myszka's adopted mother!" She states proudly, her green eyes peak out of her crimson red mask as she grins even more. The doe was happy to hear that Myszka had a sister, yet she wondered if there were any others. The only ones she knew of now was Ren her other adopted son, and now Sodesi. "Does Myszka have any other siblings? I would love to know their names too." Kindly she speaks.
Sodesi smiled back. It was hard not to, though. She felt like she was an old friend of Veil's already, and wanted nothing more than to please the other doe. Somewhere she knew that she had just met her, but Desi ignored that little voice that was telling her she was being too bold. She had to say it, the thought was tugging at her mind, whispering to her in hushed tones. She knew what her instincts were telling her.
"Thank you," she continued, "My older sister is Agrona. But I haven't seen her in so long." She couldn't remember the last time she had spoken with her sister, it had been many months--at the least.
Then she moved to touch her nose to Veil's chin. She hoped the other didn't mind the contact.
She was already feeling better.
Mmhh, it's sad to say that her and Ethan weren't really together that much to begin with. Though I hope she's doing alright, I saw Justin her other deer about a couple weeks ago. Though it was a short visit; she might come back, don't know though. :/

Myszka's eyes lit up, and a wide smile spread across his face. He tumbled down the Abiogenesis hill in his haste, skidding to a stop in the grass in front of a very familiar golden doe. To release pent-up excitement, he did a couple of laps around his mother before nuzzling her. He paid no attention to the ever-present heat radiating off of her; the evening was quite cool. "Mum!" he said happily. She wasn't wearing red today, which meant a better tactic would have been preparing a spell first.. but he had forgotten it in his haste. He made a mental note of it.
Basking in the rays of the sunlight; the gold doe flickers her ears to the upcoming slight rumble on the ground. Smiling as always she, stays seated unsure if the creature was coming to greet or join her in some lounging. With a whip of her short tail she rises when the figure comes into view "My son!" she retorts regally after hearing Myszka’s words. Her crimson red head bowed slightly, lowering its self-enough to give the smaller male some long overdue affection. “How’ve you been little one?” she questions gleefully, hoping he’d been doing good.
Ok, Veil might not be in-forest when you return though; I have school tomorrow so I won't be able to stay one very long. O my a philosophy essays...Sounds fun? xD

"Veil?..." He looks through the foliage questioningly, blinking groggily with a frightened expression. A bat explodes through the branches, causing him to spook and swing his antlers defensively. --- the masquerade
The golden doe looks up quiet puzzled by the mention of her name. "Yes?" quietly she says, watching as a figure moves about; her expression as usual a gleaming smile to any who beckon her.
"Mum, I'm freezing!" Myszka said emphatically. He pressed close to his personal heater, trying to keep up with her whenever she moved. The unseasonal snow had left him in a tizzy- but at least now Veil came in handy. He appreciated being able to spend time with his mum as such, away from the heat.
