It's all a joke now - waking up every day, going through the motions. Do I look thinner? Sometimes I forget to eat...Well, aside from the plants that feed by growing nausea. I feel so sick, but somehow it's still better than the alternative...
I did venture down to the pond today. I stood ankle-deep in the water for the longest time, staring out across it's surface, looking for those devilish eyes amongst the lilypads. 'Neath...would he take me if I lay down and offer myself? Could it be that easy? He never showed, of course, and I remember laughing so hard I had to vomit in the reeds.

The taste of my own blood still lingers on my tongue. Perhaps I wont have to go looking for the Reaper. Perhaps he'll find me first. I shouldn't care, but...the thought doesn't sit well with me. I can't die from this. I can't simply lay down and let myself wither away. But why? It was not as though my existance deserved an anymore nobler end... Yet my body aches - not just from sickness, but restlessness. That old familiar masochism that yearns for a more violent death. Go down fighting? There was an idea...
Alas, just an idea. I've always been full of silly ideas. In the end, would it really matter? Dead was dead. Nobody would waste their magic on me, drag me back from hell or revive my soul. Personality
Laid back and easy-going, Darcy isn't the hardest stag to get along with. He's generally accepting of strangers big and small and takes anything 'out of the ordinary' in stride. While he has his charming and polite moments, the stag's humor is generally pretty dry. Sarcasm is a second language and making a joke out of everything is second nature. There's also a definitive air of self-confidence about him that makes up for his lack of size and general bulk. He faces challenges head on and all too often with a smirk on his face. Darcy has very strong principals and rules that make up his sense of 'right and wrong' and follows them closely...even if they sometimes seem a bit contradictory to others. He often expects the same courteousness in return and may pass judgement quickly on anyone who doesn't heed those expectations. Rudeness is something he doesn't take lightly.
Once a loyal and fiercely protective friend and lover, Darcy is now weary of close connections. He thrives on casual encounters, intimate or otherwise, and will reject any company he feels may be getting too close, or who is already close and straying - a 'hurt them before they hurt me' mentality. When he does acquire a friend or a lover, Darcy can lay the charm on thick. He's calm, sensitive, respectful and attentive, giving a deer exactly what they need when the occasion calls that he give anything at all - unless, of course, what they need goes against his own principals. He rarely ever opens up to anyone, unless you somehow manage to slip past his censors and grow closer to him then he often permits. His smile often times hides lies and the something that brews beneath his calm exterior can sometime be seen through his eyes and subtle expressions.
When he acquires an enemy, however, Darcy can hold grudges. He may even go out of his way to spite another if he feels the 'hurt' must be repaid. He holds no biased between males or females, treating them equally, and sometimes even fawns, though he adjusts his tactics according to weakness. He's not afraid of a fight, though he may refrain from one of loss is a certainty. Most of the time his confidence in his abilities trumps any doubt and he'll rush headlong into competition in ways that may appear reckless to most. When he fights, Darcy fights dirty. Quick on his feet and skilled with his maneuvers, he'll take down his opponent however he can if it's a serious battle. If not, he may enjoy teasing and taunting his enemy more then harming them, keeping just out of harm's way and dancing at the edge of danger.
There is a darkness in Darcy, of that you can be sure...but also a lot of light. He no longer is the stag he once was, but glimpses can still be seen beneath a colder, more distant mask. There is always a certain sadness and secretiveness about him, clear in his slow, thought-out expressions and careful words. He does his best to control the worst side of him through a variety of methods, and ignores the judgement passed on him. In anger and distress though, he sometimes loses all control and lets the darkness out in irrational bursts. During these times, he is a mere shadow of himself, empty yet full of rage and despair.

PFT Darcy was awful today XD Lost pretty quickly. He needs to practice himself. My computer is suffering lag, I blame that, he's usually not that bad >:C Thanks for sparring with him though <3 He needed to vent some frustrations. And nope, I don't mind :3

Sorry if my fawn seemed indecisive, going back and forth between sitting with Darcy and sitting across from him, among other things. She is anxious these days and was trying to convey that - and with Darcy seemingly a bit sadface, she wasn't sure how to gauge his mood. In any event, it was nice sitting with him tonight.
So a tropical storm from last week has messed with things.Like the wiring in my building. The internet has been really messed up since then. Keeps going down for long periods of time.
Pumpkin: Aw, it's alright. Kind of figured it was something like that...she's always been a bit timid around him. He was very glad to see her warm up to him though...couldn't have come at a better time ha. He was starting to feel pretty down before she came along. Her company was more than appreciated, and I hope his wasn't so bad either, if not a little boring =p

Haha, I am loving Darcy's updates! Their whole shroom-trip was so funny; Obake is quite the lightweight, it seems! He's definitely going to regret it in the morning, but he and I had a lot of fun, moments of awkwardness aside! =P It's nice to know that Darcy is happier now; the poor guy seems to have been in turmoil lately. Obake, too, is very happy that Darcy sought him out; he definitely had a great time! The silly demon had probably never laughed so much =D

In the future, guys, check bios please. ♥ Just because a deer's behaviour may seem "annoying" to you it isn't necessarily trolling. It's different. If these were actual trolls they wouldn't have stopped or bowed and shook their heads at your character like that, they would have kept on trolling. Anyway.

If it's in their character to be annoying, fine... but it is just as much in my right to annoy those back who are annoying. If you don't want that sort of reaction your characters can go be annoying elsewhere to avoid it.
In your right? Huh, so you're taking this personally? A good rper would respond according to their character. If you start choosing to just ignore characters you as a player find annoying you're going to have some very unhappy people on your hands.

If they're legitimate characters that are taken seriously, then they're not trolling. That's you having a lack of tolerance and failing to understand that the behaviour is IC. This is a roleplaying community. If your deer is an OOC deer then you should specify it somewhere on their bio to avoid confusion.

So you'll drop out of character just because you find a character annoying? I was trying to find something civil and mature to say in response to that but.. honestly, that's just stupid. They weren't even interested in Darcy at all. If you'd taken a look at their bios first before jumping to conclusion, you'd realize that they're both probably harmless.

A troll wouldn't have just stood there, it probably would have flipped out below, or tried to airsit back on them.
From our point of view it was you guys who were trolling. It was you all who dropped out of character (like I said Darcy wasn't even involved in this, he just came over to oh, look, TROLL) and began to act trollish in response to legitimate IC behaviour.
If this keeps up I'm likely to just ignore these characters in-game since they're not being used properly.
Herla is small, defenseless and easily frightened. That's going to attract violent deer and predators like the smell of fresh blood and a huge hunk of deerflesh. If that's an issue, give her some weapons or some form of defense or she is always going to be targeted by predators and other animals. It's what happens with small, defenseless deer. They get eaten. It's no different here in the forest. There are still predators.
If you can't handle an 'annoying' deer and someones in character actions and you can't be bothered to keep your own emotions separated you probably shouldn't be playing a game like. It's roleplay.
I wont dignify this contradictory bullshit with a response. It's far too lulzy. My msn is if you'd like to continue the discussion privately, otherwise I'll simply leave you with this: Trolls exist IC and OOC. They aren't imaginary creatures. Anyone who relentlessly annoys someone else for no better reason than their own amusement isn't worth my or my character's respect. If need be I'll make Darcy an IC Troll Hunter and slap it on his bio and call it legit. If you don't like it, then feel free to ignore us, I am not sure why this is a threat XD

Shiori, I’m sorry for posting this here on D’s bio, it really isn’t the place. But it seemed the best place to have my say since there was already a discussion here.
Xemi and Selruil you have the right to play your characters as you please, but I likewise have the right to choose to bow out of an interaction that I find confusing or unwanted. I walked away from the interaction and sat. That didn’t work so I started headspamming no. That didn’t work. So I air sat. I’m annoyed that it had to escalate to that extent before my “wishes” were understood. As a result, I took the behavior as trolling. If it looks like a troll, smells like a troll and acts like troll, well then….what am I to assume?
The last thing I wish to do on this community is make waves or cause OOC drama between players. I’m here to enjoy the company of friends and have a good time.
I know we spoke on msn but I'm still really glad we were able to make up.
I was worried it wasn't going to happen, it seemed impossible for a bit there..

"I-I am s-s-sorry, Darcy," it says, in a wavering voice that changes tone between female and male. "Please--...." It breaks off in groaning laughter. The deer, on wobbly legs, manages to turn and, after a depressed glance over its shoulder, it makes off at a hurried pace. "But--for a little while...stay away from me...! Tell Herla the same!" Its voice fades away into barely suppressed gurgles.
The deer is gone. It hopes Darcy will heed its warning.
Aww, poor jealous Darcy. Lucamo's daddy gets jealous and possessive/protective too, espically when he had seen his fawn for the first time after he had grown. x|
