She only half-listened to what the smaller one was babbling about. If that one didn't agree with her whole view on that, should she.
She even didn't care about beeing called 'boring', or what ever that little one was ranting about.
Anyhow, Tremor just could decipher half of the ramblings...
... but then one sentence strucked her...
One thing she certainly did understand.
And this one sentence managed to break her calm and cold facade for a moment.
A sudden wave of rage shaking her body let her took a sharp breath, the air makeing a hissing noise as it passed the nostrils of the bone mask in her face.
With a fast movement her whip like tail shot forward, aiming for the small body of the one that was just about to climb down.
Right after that she jumped up on her legs, almost losing her footing on the crown of the wall. "Watch your tongue you tiny little maggot..." she bursts out with anger, before her struggling let her stop... and concentrate on her footing on the wall.
The whip tail caught her across the flank, its cut lessened, although not by much, by the thick double coat already puffed to its limit. Tzipporah's expression, bleeding out her eyes from behind the black plate mask, was a mixture of fear, anger, and satisfaction at having caused a reaction.
"Is take own advice," she spat, chest heaving under the weight of her own words, panic crawling in to break her momentum. Her side stung painfully, and the thought of having such a blatant scar pushed more venom into her thoughts. If this doe had marred her...
As she finally got her footing again she shook her mane in a violent gesture, her long ears pinned to the back of her head.
The little fight for her balance gave her enough time to calm down a little, to let the wave of rage break inside her.
She let out a strange growling noise, her eyes narrowed as she bent down her head towards the smaller one. Her tail whipeing in the air behind her... "Searching for quiet company and now finding myself in a pathetic little discussion with you little dwarf. Lucky little you I am able to tame my temper so easily... if you want me to adress you properly then you have to earn this!" she hissed "But you certainly won't earn this by treating me like this." her head shot up again, glaring down at the smaller one.
"You talked about choices before, maggot... now you have some... testing your luck a little further and going on with this... calming down like me and starting this over again... or shift your little corpse out of my sight!"
She actually didn't ment to start a fight with this small one from the beginning on... thought even that she may found some nice company for future meetings... but with this one slight remark... about giving birth... this little one really stabbed into her bad site.
Tzipporah stood as tall as she could, although she barely only reached the bone doe's chest. The cut on her side stretched painfully at the motion.
"Is you earn, bone doe. Is forcing silence, is silent. But knows what I think," she hissed, her attention divided between the doe's gaze and the blemish along her side. She repeated the doe's words mentally.
Starting this over again.
Perhaps, before the mark. If it healed without scarring, perhaps. If the blood stain wasn't too noticeable, perhaps.
Someday, perhaps.
"Now, is let me down."
-----
(lkjfask I haven't had an RP this fun in forever~ Gonna have to find some way to shove Tzi up to her again, situation permitting, if you're having as much fun as I am XD)
Her eyes narrowing again. How could this little maggot dare to talk to her like that. Obviously this small one did not fully understood its place in life by now... especially not when talking to someone like her.
"I don't have to earn anything from someone like you."
Her gaze pierced into the smaller one's eyes...
... then suddenly... she started to smile... still invisible behind the mask... but her eyes carried this smile down towards the smaller one.
"Down you want...? Of course... let me help you..." her voice was overly friendly now... a stinging, sadistic friendlyness.
Tremor bent down her head, moving forward in a fast push with her ram like horns against the site of the small one, attempting to help her down.
One single thought striking her: Know your place...!
(I hope you don't mind that las one ... of course you always have the opportunity to let her attacks fail... but ... i guess you already know)
Tzipporah's eyes widened, a gasp escaping her throat. Her front hooves went up, knees snapping against the hard, smooth surface of the doe's horns and sliding into the bed of hair between them. Her smaller form slid backwards, hooves skidding against the rock until there was nothing left to cling to, and down she went.
Her form twisted, catlike, but the wall wasn't as high as it could've been, and she hit sideways. Her front hooves came down properly, but her back feet slid out from underneath her, smashing her hipbone sharply against the stone overhang below. She let out a yell that sat between anger and surprise before the pain even hit her, and by that point, she couldn't have managed a yell. She sat there, nauseated, for a few moments, before turning her gaze skyward. The ledge above.
Her mouth was pulled into a soundless snarl, her face twisted and ugly... all of which was hidden by her plate mask. And she hated the doe. For the insults in her words, and the insults in her actions. Her eyes burned with fury.
"See? Can be thoughtful, if tries," she hissed, voice as controlled as her lungs could manage, and she pulled herself to her feet, forcing her back legs to support her.
Turning slowly, she walked away, not allowing herself to show the pain. Not an ounce of it.
A pleased look appeared on the horned doe's face.
She placed herself neatly on the crown of the wall again, watching the small creature below here with greatest interest... regal... like a queen on her throne would watch her jester fooling around.
She didn't acknowledged the smaller one's word with an answer, just watched... her pale tail curling up around her.
Tremor was almost sure the little one cought an injury at this fall... at least the landing looked painfully enough.
Though... the little one showed not a single sign of it.
Hmm.
Interesting. Of course she would have prefared it to see the pain in the smaller ones eyes... and not just this pathetic hate.
But at least... this let the bone doe grant the smaller one a tiny amount of recognition...
(haha sorry... went to bed yesterday... just to close this propperly. ... thanks a lot for this, was so much fun :D )
( xD she is a bit torn between fascination and... don't even know a word for that, actually...)
Tremor looked at the creature in front of her. She had mit him(? she was pretty sure about that) before. She was pretty certain that this one need no harm... at least not to her.
Her ears perked forward when he begun to speak. "Oh you... speak."
Actually she had expected...
No harm was intended for the doe at all. He found her interesting, and there was no use in hurting something he had an interest in. "Among other things." A humored smile appeared on his lips, the only part not completely hidden by his mask.
"Tremor," Dmitri repeated, watching her walk around him. His own hooves shifted, too, but only so that he could keep her in his sight. The bony jaws on her face had the capability, the stag assumed, to deliver a shattering bite. While she didn't seem to be a threat, she could certainly be one if she wanted.
His tail flicked and he held it up a bit higher. "I'm Dmitri."
"Dimitri." she let the r roll down her tongue and chuckled again.
"Have to admit, you are a pretty unusual sight... even to me.... but... well actually in this place is nothing trally unusual, right...?" she tilted her head, bwed it slightly up and down to have a closer look on his face. "Is that... your face...?"
"You're right," he answered, rolling an ankle on his hind leg, placing his weight on it. He shook his head as Tremor examined his mask, the red glow around the false eyes leaving a small trail in their path. "No, just a mask I wear. Are those jaws apart of your face?" he asked back.
Just a mask... so... she actually mistook it for his face at first. So that guy was no giant deer shaped insect.
... or... at least it didn't seem so.
She had to grin again, then she opened her mouth wide, so that the fangs of the jaws itself opened as well, stretched out her tongue towards him, before he closed her mouth again.
"Just a mask." she answered, a strange shine in her eyes. It was actually not 'just' a mask...
"they are pretty, aren't they?" she let her tongue run over the sharp teeth.
Dmitri's own interest in her piqued even more when she flicked her tongue out at him, the jaws opened. He let out a rumble of a laugh from his chest. "Of course." He nodded, eyeing the fangs as her tongue licked over the teeth. "Very pretty. I'm truly jealous," he stated, switching the hooves he was resting on.
"So, so jealous, hm?" She turned around, her tail flick and float over the ground behind her. She started to walk on, slowly... like she was iviteing him to follow her.
She glanced back for a brief moment. This one was... somehow strange. And by that she was not only thinking about his sight.
"And what makes you so jealous? The wish to be able to rip and tear flesh from bones?" though... this pincers on his mask surely could do an equal job... "Or is it just the pretty sight...?"
(sou~ have to rush to bed now... I'll reply tomorrow again... cya later :] )
He stood upright, watching as she pivoted and flicked her tail. Dmitri began to walk after her, curious as to where she was taking him, if anywhere. "Just the pretty sight," he responded, leaping so that he was next to her as she carried on. "Ripping and tearing is what my own fangs are used for," Dmitri stated. It was clear that they were used for violence on a daily basis from the dried blood staining the bottom of his mask.
Really, he should have attempted to clean them better.
Just the pretty sight. So , so...
Indeed a strange one. But also interesting.
Slowly she made her way towards the pond... glanced to the other one again.
Of course...
...what else did she expect from 'tools' like that?
She should stay cautious around this tranger.
"And what do they rip and tear?" she asked in her sweetest voice, giving him a look from the site.
"Prey," Dmitri responded, turning his head slightly so that he was able to look at her while he said it. The mask didn't allow for him to see things on the side. "Don't worry, you aren't prey."
"Smaller... creatures," he tentatively responded. At first, it had been animals such as squirrels and birds. Recently, however, is mind was beginning to warp itself in such a manner that he had even feasted on dead fawns, but Tremor didn't need to know that. Not right away, of course.
The faint sound of water lapping up at the edge of the pond made Dmitri realize how thirsty he was, but he did not quicken his pace. No, he had been taught to act dignified (though that seemed to be slipping from his mind).
Of course, what else could be prey?
Obviously she didn't seem to mind his answer. She had her opinion about the 'smaller' ones. In fact, she wouldn't even mind it if he would feed from fawns, be them alive or dead.
After all, this would be a test for the little thing... a test if it would be worthy enough to live this life that was given to it... or not.
"... didn't thought that anyone else beside those deathbirds would eat anything but pinecones in this place. Heh, but I already noticed... nothing is what it seems like here, right?"
(sooo and off to bed i go... xD cya tomorrow again... i guess...)
Tracking, beautiful bio <3 The little orange doe that briefly "attacked" Tremor today was my Revenant. Rev was upset that Tremor was jumping around close to Big Bunny, and being the usual protective Rev, she took a disliking to Tremor xD Also considering Tremor was rubbing against Rev's tree a few days ago (I'm not sure if you remember that )
well let's see what fdevelopes... i'm quite sure they will run into each other some time again... since... well... let's face it forest is not endless. :D
Dmitri moved his head up and down, much like a horse would, in response to her observation. It was a friendly gesture, like a silent laugh, an agreement. "No, nothing is as it seems. I'm sure other... deer eat the weaker things, but I haven't met them," he said.
She only half-listened to
