"...thoughts here...."
November 12th, 2015
Yes, I guess I can say I'm gone now. It's been 4 months and I've looked at this site maybe twice. I have absolutely no desire to go into forest anymore. Herla and my other characters are alive and well, though they don't live here anymore. I'm as happy with them now as I've ever been and feel much more satisfied with my creations since removing them from this place. I used to think that would be hard or impossible and if I left, I'd lose them. I laugh now at that, the best way out is through as they say, and then you wonder what all the fuss was about in the first place.
Health challenges continue, and part of that is minimized computer time since it aggravates my conditions to sit and type and look at screens. After a decade dedicated to digital art, I pretty much exclusively do traditional art now. Loving my Copic markers. It has really helped me to find alternative creative outlets like the Ball Jointed Doll Hobby. Starting to sculpt and sew too.
Please don't leave messages here, I'll be unlikely to see them. If you wish to contact me use the email below.
Please do not ask for any of my pictos.

(Nye so am I. No worries
Somehow the stag was very pleased with him self, he got to protect a small herd of does again. Even though he was rather just lazying about and not giving a whole damn. But today was different, and had him actively on his hooves quite a few times.
"Ah, but that is what I am for. Only a lousy stag would let another stag hurt any doe or fawn. Such just does not go." He let out a deep breath. Once again, it seemed the group was circled by some curious deer, and again chaos ensued when a stag came jumping on at them. Finally, the irish decided to scoot them over to the calm birch. Not one of his favourite places, the grass often got him tangled and he looked like more of a gigantic clums as a magnificent stag.
"No resting today it seems. Sorry." He let out a deep breath. Gehirn settled next to Herla again, keeping an eye out. "The birch tends to be a bit of a more quiet place though so, perhaps we are lucky this time." Keeping his eyes on the environment, and on the does with him. It was rare for him to be put into this role, but he didn't mind it. Except for all the excersize.
(Also. Page four is now Misako's!)
((Wow, I think you do a great
Herla moved with the group of does when Gehirn herded them all off from some over-interested stags. She enjoyed flirting with other stags but there was something about Gehirn that made her want to stick by his side. She was not overly pleased to be in the birch forest, the grazing tended to be a lot less lush, but it did get good sun and the spaces where wide open. “It’s been a long time since I’ve felt the safety a mature strong stag can offer.” she said bowing to him. She was sated from grazing that morning and was now happy to rest in the sun and ruminate. Secure in the knowledge the large bull would be keeping an eye out for them. She sighed in contentment.
(Aw thanks! I'm flattered XD
Gehirn was more worried about them setting the pregnant Dajhi off. He would always protect any doe, but a pregnant doe meant double the awareness for him. The birch certainly wasn't his favourite place to be either, even though he was there fairly often. But atleast the chirping birds were enjoyable. The irish turned his head to look at the smaller doe beside him. "Is that so?" He smiled. "More often one hears of does preferring the younger stags, hm? Not that I am that old, but.." He couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle. "I am not a daunty hopping buck anymore either." His gaze softened a bit, their environment had seemed to calm down. The black stag was able to relax a bit again.
“Youth is overrated, I
Herla dozed next to the big black stag, sleeping soundly. When she awoke, Gehirn was still by her side and she nuzzled into his black fur. She noticed the other two does where no longer there and glanced around briefly confirming this. A nameless deer approached and both she and Gehirn greeted him. Nameless where sad, ephemeral creatures that had no physical substance and could not interact in the physical world. She used to be afraid of them, and would run away, especially when they would call and make unnerving noises. Now, she just found them sad for they could never truly interact and had found that if you were kind to them and greeted them, they would usually quickly evaporate into whatever mist they originated from and leave once again.
Gehirn couldn't wipe the grin
He allowed the doe to nuzzle into his fur, quite content with the situation. He was hardly able to trust others but, it was just so much easier for a doe to get into his good books.
As the nameless arrived, it was gone again as quick as it came. They had danced for a short moment before it ran off again. Gehirn snorted. "Odd creatures, no? They seem so much more free than we are." He let out a sigh. Nameless had no restrictions, in his eyes. No rules, no set behaivor.
He took to standing over Herla for a while, untill she fell asleep. Only then he felt he was allowed to sit next to her again, resting his head on the ground. His antlers were usefull, but heavy and straining.
(Ah, I have to go for a while now! Going downstairs to watch TV, we call it family time. Rofl. Uuhmm.. I think I'll let Gehirn sleep there for a while, but do feel free to leave him at it. After all, I am not there behind the screen to control him. And you shouldn't be bored either, rofl.)
“They don’t have to be afraid
((No problem, have fun! I’ll be in and out as well, feel free to find me!
(His harem. That's amusing
His red eyes turned to the doe, looking at her features. Did she seem sad? "Hm.. Nameless are much like ghosts like that.." Gehirn paused, thinking for a moment. "My friend has seen a nameless being born into a fawn. And from that point on, has seen them grow into an adult stag. There are so many ways for deer to arrive into this forest, perhaps nameless are the spirits of those that are born by the gods, and have yet to step into their body, if they choose to." My, what an intelligent ramble, he thought to himself. "Or I should stop inhaling your feathers, it seems to be playing tricks with my mind now." He grinned slightly.
((Herla is the jealous sort,
Herla peered at the black stag, and listened intently to what he was saying, “I’ve never heard that before…I always thought of the unnamed as…like you said…ghosts. That is somehow…comforting, to know they are not forsaken to be trapped in that state…but may be born into a fawn.” she was young, there were so many things she did not know, and so many things she was afraid of. She had felt helpless all her life. The gentle stag’s voice calmed her, and when he caressed her feathers she leaned into his muzzle and groaned. It felt good. It made her sort of dizzy and she didn’t want him to stop. “You can sniff my feathers anytime,” she murmured.
(I noticed! Poor girl XDD
He nodded slightly. "It is huh? I have to say, I never saw them as anything sad even before I heard that story.. But perhaps that is because they always seem to be dancing." He shrugged, rolling his shoulders a little. "Ah, I can? That is nice of you, I am honoured. You do sure have a pretty crown of them, they suit you well." The stag complimented. They did somehow make her look like a queen. He was afraid he'd mess them up somehow, after all he was a bit of a clumsy figure at times. His weight and size didn't help his case at all. But as he was laying down, things were easier to keep balanced. Gently he continued to groom her, hoping not to mess up the crown. It somehow made him feel better a young doe like herself seemed interested in his company. His friends joking about him being "old" had perhaps gotten to him anyway. Even if he was, for his species, in his prime.
His species just got a lot older.
((Two stags giving her
Herla thought on his words about the nameless, they had always seemed sad to her, perhaps that was her own projection though on something that couldn’t quite communicate and so she imagined her own emotional state, alone in a frightening, uncaring world. “I hope that you are right, dear Gehirn, that the nameless are happy. I’ve always thought them so sad…” her words trailed off as his teeth mussed at the fur on her neck, nipping down slightly, making her shudder in pleasure. Firm and gentle at the same time, his touch was making her feel very strange. “Gehirn…” she swooned, words escaping her. And not a fake swoon. Not artificial. She felt it. His compliments adding fire to the flames she had a difficult time understanding. This was dangerous…but she didn’t care.
((uh-oh...is that fine china demeanor cracking?))
(Ouch, but that china stuff
"Let's hope so then, hm? It is hard to ask them, they seem to know little of language.." Perhaps it would be fun to attempt, though. Nameless were a slightly confusing entity to him, but so were Gods. The irish seemed content in taking care of her hide for a moment, always pretty glad to be of use to anyone. But as she mentioned his name, in the tone she did, he paused. "Are you alright?" What a stupid question. Really, what was he even worried about, he thought to himself.
(Aaah, took me so long to write thaat. Couldn't make it any better it seems. But I forgot time and, now it's 2:30am. Which is not good. So I shall leave you with a cliffhanger and go to bed now.. And pass out. Goodnight! XD Thank you for roleplaying with us!<3)
((Argh, cliff hanger! Oh
Herla was getting lost in the sensations. His voice, his gentle ministrations. She was getting altogether too…worked up by the feelings they were causing in her. He paused and asked her if she was alright. She leaned into him, not wanting the ministrations to stop. No! was the answer, No, she was not alright. She was decidedly most unwell. She was behaving most fool hardily and making herself vulnerable in a way she never did. He could hurt her so badly right now, one uncaring action, one cross word and she would be devastated. And she didn’t care one bit. When she spoke, it sounded a bit husky, “Gehirn…please… she trailed off.
((Dun, dun, dun…cliffhanger of doom. ))
fjdndlkfnkjljk Hello! I love
Hello! I love you and your chars and couldn't believe this doe Ravus has been taking her issues out on (read: cuddling up to and machoing over) has been Herla all along~
Hopefully some day they can meet with Ravus isn't trying to prove something, but I feel better knowing Ravus probably just comes across as some crazy stag. xD
Ravus has been “mystery stag”
Ravus has been “mystery stag” of the week since the map never would cooperate for me so I could locate “his” identity. I think our deer have interacted almost every night this week! LOL! Well mystery solved! Hah! Herla saw Ravus sparring with that other deer (don’t know who they are either) and was worried about him. Who won? Lol! Hope you didn’t mind me throwing her into the interaction and gumming up the works.
To answer that question,
Your little Herla was very persistent XD I love her set~
((Thank you. And cool,
Lol! I'm sure she does XD She
Although, I had trouble not cracking up when I rotated my camera and saw Herla's little face all scared, peeking out from behind trees XD For some reason, hiding behind trees always gets me... haha~
It was fun! Mystery deer
Mystery deer who turned out to be Ravus.

Ohlawl. Herla came up to
Art by Anjali. ♥
Shaku: Yeah, I liked that
Kirness: Ah, so that was Forsake! Herla was quite intrigued with his mask. I think she might have taunted him a bit too? Which is what she usually does when she feels she is not getting adequate attention!
/cracking up at Shaku's
But thanks, SHL-- I feel better thinking of it that way! And great captures.
And Ravus and Phylux are like family, but Ravus has so many issues when it comes to her ego/control. She's not normally possessive but now she feels super entitled to/validated by Herla, especially since she didn't get her way with Phy beforehand. So it's really making me laugh that Herla is probably in for more of the same treatment. xD. I think Shaku covered everything, that aside. Oh, and poor Herla!
There is nothing Herla likes
Edit: Okay, bedtime for me, thanks for hanging in the forest. Btw, who was the red stag Ravus was sparring with earlier?
"She thinks of Ravus as
Ha! Well, so she is, in her own way.
(Yes, it kind of was melted.
And awesome! Now I'm kind of thinking how to uhm, merge in-forest and rp later on again if they happen to meet today too. Uh oh well, I think that'll go automaticly. I'll just reply to this anyway, if that's ok? ♥)
As she leaned into him further at his questions, he figured she was alright. He couldn't help but chuckle slightly, finding it all too adorable alltogether. Her fur didn't look as if it wasn't tended to properly, but she was acting as if she hadn't been groomed in centuries. The dark stag decided to obligue to her request, continuing his act of tender caring.
Please? Was she asking him a question? A low, rumbling "Hm?" came from his throat, questioning her quietly. Still, he continued for a moment longer untill he lifted his head again slightly, his mouth away from her fur. He gave her a quick nibble behind the ear, before stretching his neck out to the sky. His antlers casting a large shadow around them. Gehirn yawned, seemingly a little drowsy from the lazing around. The stag's ear twitched as he eyed the environment. Some birds chirping. "Ah, pardon me. How rude to be acting like a lazy sod in front of company.." Referring to his yawning of before. He had his head turned to Herla slightly again.
((No problem Misako, we can
Herla started to grow drowsy as Gerhirn continued his grooming, she sighed again as he nuzzled behind her ear, leaning into the touch. It had been ages since she’d been groomed by another, she was usually too aloof to allow it. When he paused and yawned she looked up at him with sleepy eyes. His antlers towered over them like branches of a tree, she felt safe nestled beneath them. “Thank you… she murmured. She reached up and nuzzled his throat beneath his jaw, giving his skin a little nip, then licking the thick fur smooth. It was the most real affection she had given a stag in a long time.
((Herla is in the forest now, near the blue bell bowl, I’ll be checking in and out, so sorry if Herla won’t awaken!))
There was a pleased rumble
(Haha, took a bit to find you. I didn't realise you're playing 3.31 and so your picto was different... I am so slow)
((Meep, sorry you couldn’t
Herla enjoyed it when the giant stag rumbled deep in his throat and lowered his head into her grooming, he was so large and powerful, yet he bared himself to her caresses. She enjoyed the power over such a large stag, his masculinity bowing to her made her feel all the more feminine. With genuine affection and tenderness though, she nibbled at his throat, pleased at the grunts of pleasure she was able to elicit. “Thank you again Gerhirn for looking out for me and fighting off the unfriendly stag, I do hope you were not injured? she asked nuzzling his face and gently licking around his eye and forehead, gentle kisses of affection.
If the stag was capable of
The blue bowl seemed like a calm place today. But who knew how long that would last. He reached out his neck a bit to snap off a twig of blueberries, laying it in front of them. He nodded to Herla, she was free to take some as well. "Just be carefull eating many of these, though. I am not sure if you have been into that situation yet but, it seems to have a certain effect on deer.." He wasn't sure how to explain it. "But it won't be a problem if you dont overdo it." He snorted.
“I am fine, I was only

The black stag waited for his companion to rise and shine as well. It seemed very crowded near the pond, but it wasn't like him to be worrying about such.
"Well then. Let's go then, shall we?"
Herla walked through the

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
The stag took his steps
He plucked off some of the pond's waterweed, before settling in the water next to Herla. It was soothing.
Gehirn returned her gaze. "This better?" He smiled.
((Thanks so much Graveyard!
*cuddles up in the fluff*
Gerhirn: Herla noticed how Gerhirn would cast sidelong glances at her, then puff out his chest a little bit more, his head held just that much higher, his stately antlers held proudly as they walked through the forest. It pleased her to know that her company was sought by him and he felt just as delighted walking next to her and she did walking next to him.
The cool waters where very soothing on the warm day, she was happy to have the stag next to her in the water. She shot some of the surrounding does dark looks, her natural jealousy coming through. Her demeanor shouted, “He’s mine!” to any doe that looked their way. She was no harem doe, not her. She liked her stags to herself.
“This is wonderful, Gerhirn. Thank you for your excellent company, I am fearful to come to the pond on my own…a little doe such as myself has to be careful.” she said, giving him a delicate nibble along his jawline.
(( I see that Virgil and Gerhirn are discussing leaving the forest. Herla will be heartbroken if she catches wind of this! She’s already starting to think of Gerhirn as hers. Possessive little doe that she is!))
((Computer died, BRB
The stag let out a deep
(Aaah sorry, that was slow. I forgot I had to do something important for school haha. It wasn't much work but it caused me not to pay attention to the screen for a moment, untill we saw Herla come running back with a devout pelt XD
Oh! The leaving, well, that is kind of why Gehirn is in a bit of a sour mood. Virgil blew the plans off and, Gehirn was quite enthosiastic about it. Now it's a grumpy Gehirn rofl, but I guess it's good news for Herla! XD)
(Just wanted to jump in and
((Misako, school work is
“The forest is not always safe for a small doe…there are giant beastly squirrels in the woods and crocs in the pond, not to mention ungentlemanly stags a delicate doe must be wary off.” she said demurely. “I am so afraid on my own, but I have no fears with you by my side kindly sir. and gave him another peck on the cheek.
((Uruushou, thanks so much! And good to see Liam again, Herla is happy her friend has come to visit her. He was missed. ))
(Aw, how sweet! ;_;
(Helloo Uruushou! Haha aw,
"Ah. With that, I agree. I had just thought there would be plenty of stags that would make sure you're alright." He smiled. Though his eyes were indeed, on the water. The crocodile was nearby, though it never seemed to go after a healthy deer. He wasn't as worried. And perhaps it would take one of the fawns that kept screaming and causing him to get a headache. The peck he recieved brought up a light chuckle from the stag, that gave the doe a little nudge with his nose against her cheek. "It is fine. Hopefully I can make sure you don't have to worry, hm?"
(Why hello there, Misako! :>
(( Poor Herla, first Liam
Herla shot the big stag a sultry look, “My hero,” she said silkily. Getting up from the water, she gave him another lick on the nose then walked to shore and shook herself off, fluffing her feather mantle, preening for Gehirn’s benefit. She loved the grasses around the pond, they were some of the most succulent in the forest. She started to graze, being sure to keep her eye on her stag.
((Going to be doing some stuff around the house, I’ll keep checking back
((Uruushou, how lucky Herla is to have her gay friend to bring her chocolates when her heart is broken! Stag-hag? ROFLMAO!))
(Haha, that is so very true!
(Ah, that would be so amusing
A satisfied chuckle was heard as she gave him that sultry look. Oh but, he sure loved the attention. But his pelt was rather thick, even after shedding, and he was glad to sit on the shore again. It took quite some time to dry up completely. The stag caught eye of her jealous gaze and grinned to himself. Pondering if he should perhaps mention it. "Why, you have a lovely pair of eyes, Herla." He decided to compliment instead. They actually came rather close to his own eye colour, a dark red. Much like wine. As the doe bend down to graze, he kept an eye out. Occassionally turning his eyes to her slim shape, her lovely markings. Again he grinned to himself, before turning to look around again. The pond always attracted many odd figures, and he found he should pay attention to them. Just in case.
(Ah, but it is time for me to go for bed now.. I slept rather bad last night, and it's time for school again tomorrow! Hopefully see you guys sometime soon again, I enjoy the interaction. Goodnight! And well, a good afternoon/evening to you!)
[[ You know I have to giggle
And I saw the picture, so gorgeous <3]]
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Herla positively glowed at
(( Okay Misako, have a good night! And laughing my tail off, Uruushou, at that! Classic, just classic. I have no qualm with drama, Herla is my drama generator; it’s what she was created for. Plenty of flaws and issues to play with. Muahahaha! So bring on the drama! It has been funny how every time Herla thinks she’s found the stag for her, another hurdle develops. “I’ve been dating since I was 16 years old, looking for Mr. Right, where is he already? I’m exhausted!" Poor Herla!))
((Graveyard: I love floofy white deer bums, Herla has a floofy blue deer bum, LOL!))
