a heads up about the new 'special feature' of the TEF beta version~

I know a few of you were wondering what the new 'special feature' the gods hinted at a few days back was all about, and I just got the following in my inbox and figured I'd put it up for those who were interested to see *ahem*:


'Hi,

Thank you for participating in the test. When you log into The Endless Forest now with the beta version of the game, you will be transferred to another server. This is because we have attached a "Ticket" to your account. Only people with a ticket can get in.

For the test, there is no live festival taking place. But in the future, we intend to use this system to give Abiogenesis performances for a limited group of players.

Please let us know if you find any errors. And if you want to stop testing, let us know and we'll remove your ticket, so you can play with the others again.

See you in the Forest!

And I am the little Fawn in the Beta testing. Got to play with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum today.... I kinda like that Glitch but kinda dont... If too many deer got ahold of it it would be very bad!!

~giggles~ I felt like Alice in Wonderland with all those giant shrooms, plus the silly twin deer.










Sorry for the Giant Screenies... but this is a really cool thing for me to witness.

Just to clarify before

Just to clarify before everybody gets all grabby-hands over the current tickets, I'm pretty sure this ticket feature is still in the beta testing stage, bugs and glitches still need to be found and fixed. So having or getting a ticket now might not guarantee you a spot to experience the next Abio.

That's just it, I don't think

That's just it, I don't think there is an Abio going on now. There is a weather change, yes, but The Twin Gods are not performing an Abiogenesis. This batch of tickets is mainly for beta testing volunteers to find problems with the new system before it is made available to everyone. Visit the Support Forums if you are willing to help beta test, but the point of this is to find problems, not view an Abio (yet Eye).

Just to clarify further, I do

Just to clarify further, I do not think they are handing out "tickets" anymore for now. All we are doing is working out the bugs. There are some of the abiogenesis characteristics right now, though there is no festival or performance. I believe that the Gods only have them up to test if each feature works on the new Beta Program.

I am sure Auriea Harvey & Michaël Samyn are very happy we all want to help.

I think just about all the questions have been answered here, though! Laughing out loud And Tweedledee and Tweedledum are just aosdiufad *GIGGLES* It cracked me up! It makes too much sense. Lovely screenies right thar ♥ I also love the darkness in the forest, how peaceful it is, and how everyone says hai to one another. It's so tranquil and relaxing. I'm definitely enjoying this beta testing business, and reckon this is a great idea! Laughing out loud I'll hafta send in my report later. For now, SCREENIES *ahem*:











Apologies if I killed computers, thar! D: And yes, that is a soul. Custard and I almost died when all of a sudden that deer turned into a soul, then came back nakie. Not sure what happened there, but it was far too awesome! *giggles*

This is wonderful. I do wonder though, how the ticket system will work-anyone else think we might have to pay money for tickets? Shocked Or if it'll be random, or a reward for those who contribute or whatevs? Could be interesting Laughing out loud

ahh This server is so neat

ahh This server is so neat *_* I sent in an email yesterday for my other account and was wandering around for a bit earlier... No one else was online though so it was slightly eery hehehe
(except my pictogram doubled and ended up stuck on the ground haha. it acted like it was a deer that I was able to interact with, but there was nothing underneath but a shadow!)
