Why must you people argue about little things that you think cause huge fights, even though you're causing bigger fights by arguing about them? Meep...

If people aren't allowed to play the game the way they individually choose (and this could mean making other players invisible...who said you had to see them? i don't)...then...I won't bother trying.

*sighs*...

If I'm not allowed to

If I'm not allowed to roleplay a little, let my deer have a crush or two, write a few poems and such...

Then I don't feel welcome here anymore...

I think as long as people

I think as long as people respect others' opinions, they should be allowed to speak their mind, even if it means disagreeing with someone or bringing up a differing opinion. I would hope that people can discuss such a thing without causing an argument. But perhaps I'm missing something... *sigh*

I understand that...I

I understand that...I just...want to play the game the way I do. If other people are going to tell me I can't...I won't bother playing :/

They don't have to get involved with mate drama, and they can just act like everyone's genderless. That's their choice Sticking out tongue But not mine, heh.

Maybe the problem with all

Maybe the problem with all this serious roleplaying here is that quite a bit of the community is not aware of it, or maybe don't want to participate. I don't mind the roleplaying, but I wish it could be toned down, or kept between friends. I think we need to take the game experience of all players into consideration.

*a little bit confused* I

*a little bit confused* I only roleplay with friends, really...no one else. Except for a random crush by my deer on another random deer, but that was just for fun, a 1-day thing.

What do you mean?

I agree that no one should

I agree that no one should tell you how to be in the Forest. But I think what I have trouble getting across is that the Forums, Community Site, and Forest are all intrinsically related. Something cannot occur in the Forest without affecting the sites, and things from the sites leak into the Forest.

edit: Ephra put it better than I did. I don't really mind roleplaying either. I think it's neat when people develop their deer as characters.

Maybe some more private way

Maybe some more private way of communication would be better for roleplaying, that way the RP drama could be confined to the roleplayers themselves? It wouldn't have to be out where everyone can see it, with many unaware that it's not to be taken seriously.

Zelly, welcome back.

Zelly, welcome back. *hug*
You know... I don't really know what to say about all the stuff that's happened. I'm not really involved... I can't play the Forest, I don't really know anyone here 'cept Anzel...

Personally, I like making characters. But when(if) I play again, I want to act absolutely normal in the Forest. I don't want to act SO like my character deer (except for Olly, where I might listen against trees sometimes, etc.), I want to be able to have fun with anyone in the Forest. I want to be able to respect every deer, be it fawn or nameless.

I've read everything. I know I've kept quiet so far, but... I guess I too want it to tone down.

Ephra, your idea is quite good. All these things happening must be quite overwhelming for new players.

Some of the roleplay type

Some of the roleplay type things, to me, are like art. Beautifully written, well thought out... I'd hate to not be able to read those.... D;

...Don't flame me for

...Don't flame me for this.

I agree with Anzel.

I love roleplaying, and if people are getting bothered by any posts on it and such then boo frikking hoo D: They can live with it, and they can just ignore it all and not read it.

XD; *sweatdrop*

No one forces you to read

No one forces you to read the drama. I mean, sometimes, if I really don't care about something, I'll just ignore it.

I mean, if I'm not part of mate drama, I'll likely not check topics about it, knowing I probably won't be dragged into anything. And if I am, it's likely in a very partial way.
