♣Title change. Was itching. How picky, yes, I know
♣Adding steps for causing this glitch in version 3.4
♣Added some fail CSS, it's merely for organization
♣Minor updates here and there, such as, grammar

Probably you've seen giant-sized shapeshifts around; most caused by the beta of the newest version. However, you can enjoy this glitch in every version.
With this tutorial you will be able to change the size of your shapeshifted animal.

If you know how to cause the mini deer pelt glitch in the version you're using, skip these steps and read the last paragraphs; the whole process is exactly the same, just for this one you use the other shapeshift spells: bat, crow, dove, frog, rabbit and squirrel.
In version 3.31 and older

1. Get a shapeshift spell casted on you.

2. Enter the Drinkplaats mushroom circle and leave it; you will come out with your default set without your shapeshift spell. Don't sneeze off the shapeshift glitch!

3. Go to the Twin Gods statue.

4. Sneeze the Drinkplaats glitched default shift, but in the middle of it, before your deer completly sneezes and turns into the animal, press the worship icon. If you look for it too late, it will disapear, and you will have to go back to step 2.

5. You won't see the devotee pelt appear, so you will have to wait patiently and pay attention to the sound it makes. (If you started playing recently, note: it's the same sound as when you get a spell to cast on others, and not the one of a spell casted on you.)

6. When you hear the sound of the devotee pelt casted on you, stand up and wait for the spell to fade. When it does, you should appear with a new size, but sometimes the difference is small.

In version 3.40

1. Get a shapeshift spell casted on you.

2. Save your set

3. Go to the Twin Gods statue.

4. Press Esc button, but once you're sitting, open the action script and stand up. Don't close the menu.

5. Sneeze the shapeshift spell and worship.

6. Before the devotee pelt is casted on you, load the set with the spell. Sometimes it takes very long to load and you have to sneeze the devotee pelt and worship again. You can find here some experimental technics to make saving and loading faster.

-WIP-

If you're unhappy with your new size, return to step 2. You can make this the number of times you want as long as you keep the spell.

RECENT DISCOVERY IS RECENT: To return to the small size at any time, just walk through the Crying Idol Statue, getting an invisible red pelt casted on you! This should work in every version.

Note: these are just examples. You might get a much bigger or smaller size than these. I don't know yet what affects that, though. If you know, we'd appreciate your help!

Issues
I recomend you use for this glitch animals with better graphic details; ravens, rabbits and frogs, since they look alot better in increased size. Animals like doves and squirrels have a pretty blunt and rudimentary graphical look in big sizes. The one that works better is the crow, which also has more actions (its the only that walks slowly, walks, flies, runs and jumps.)
They can do most glitches your deer can; sit-slide, antigravity and waterwalk; however, glitches may occur, such as:
♣If your creature grows above a certain size, your pictogram will "sink" into their head, or if it's a flying creature, it will appear below them.
♣If your creature grows above a certain size, the smallest graphical flaws will become visible. Some examples are the deformation between the feathers of the crow (as seen in the 2nd example) and harsh ugly corners on the animal... although the results in the frog are quite cool x)
♣Sinking into the floor, diving in the "Deer Dream". Merely temporary.
♣Becoming invisible till you land [mostly happens with the squirrel and the bat, if you try to fly with it]

Hope it was useful, enjoy your resized animals!

For some reason this doesn't seem to work? I'm using v3.41 is that the problem? My crow grows a little, but not like the size of the other huge ones D; it looks like it hardly grows at all, just enough to hide the picto.

I really hate to bump this,

I really hate to bump this, buuut it doesn't seem to work for me.

Using 3.41, the devotion pelt trick only makes the crow grow a tiny bit larger.
I'm not sure about other animals, but I'm assuming it's the same.

Any advice? I'm just curious, and I'd really like to see/play some giant critters!

Hey Lambfleece! It's not

Hey Lambfleece! It's not actually random how big your animal gets, it's decided by the pelt your deer is originally wearing underneath the animal spell. We once tested this out with the crow spell (It's a gif), I'm not sure if every pelt has the same effect on every animal. Crows just seemed to grow the largest. Monarch butterfly will get your crow to the biggest size, as far as I'm aware Smiling

Wow! Interesting, thanks a

Wow! Interesting, thanks a bunch, Mis! I wasn't expecting that to be the variable.

But how would I save the butterfly spell, or any pelt spell, without overwriting and losing my crow spell?

I think you might need to

I think you might need to sneeze it off in order to save a different pelt spell. Pretty sure of that even. But you can get your animal spell back fairly easy!
Go to the drinkplaats with the set you want underneath the animal spell. Sit into the circle, and go into the game menu. Where you normally find the save and load buttons in network for your set, you will no longer see those buttons. But they are there. If you hover your mouse over it, you will see the cursor change. Load is at the bottom, so what I do is gently move my mouse from below the screen up until the cursor changes.
So in the circle, press load. Your set will load. Get an animal spell, if you get the right one, go back into the menu again and approach the invisible buttons from above to find "save". Exit the drinkplaats, click load and you got your animal spell.

Hope that makes some sort of sense? I'm not the best at explaining unfortunately XD But that might be a quicker way to do it than sitting in a mushroom circle.

Oh, I see! Thanks for taking the time to explain. Smiling
Now I gotta go experiment with some giant animals, haha!
