Trick to make saving your set easier (3.4)

Aivilo's picture
When you go to save your set and it says "Saving..." click the "Save" button again so that you get the error message "Please wait a moment and retry."
Wait for it to say "Ready" again and IMMEDIATELY click "Save."
It will succeed.
I've done this several times now, and it appears to be a consistent work-around.
Haven't found one for getting a set to load, yet, though. :/

So...when it goes

So...when it goes "Saving.....ready"...it didn't save? It has to go "Saving...data saved successfully" (or whatever it says) for it to save? I thought it saved either way; or no? *is curious* That might be why I have trouble loading my deer's set sometimes, if I'm actually not saving properly.

Pressing the "Load" button

Pressing the "Load" button twice in quick sucession freezes the screen for a second, I've noticed it loads easier after it c:
Ironically, lag also helps getting the set back faster. I have no idea how though.

Loading is difficult, but I

Loading is difficult, but I find it definitely helps if you turn players and nature detail off. Normally takes about 3 or for load attempts, but it does work!

Anj- right. It has to display

Anj- right. It has to display the success message.
Eternal- I have noticed this as well. If you do it slow enough though, you get whats in the original post.

Thank you for that. I actually tried this a couple of times and it worked much faster for me as well.
