Many, many years ago, a pale dragon was born in a different realm. This dragon grew to be a powerful beast, yet she was a friendly and curious sort of dragon. Illrose lived peacefully among humans and other creatures for many years, until she one day returned to the place she had been born, only to find her homeland had been destroyed by humans. With cruel and powerful tools they had either murdered or taken captive the dragons who lived there. Illrose was nearly taken too, but she managed to slip away, as all the gentleness she had felt towards the humans faded, and was replaced by a fiery hatred. She waged war on the humans who had destroyed her birthplace, burned the humans and their terrible weapons, but unfortunately it was already too late; the captive dragons were beyond saving. In the end Illrose found herself alone, in a world of fire, smoke and rage.
Even after she had destroyed the humans who were responsible for the destruction of her homeplace, the hatred burned so strong in Illrose that she kept avenging the fallen dragons by burning down every village she came across. People screaming in terror as their homes were set on fire gave her a cruel satisfaction and only fuelled the fire - quite literally. Even places she had visited before, where she had lived among the humans for periods of time, fell victim to her destructive flames. She spared nothing and no one.
Eventually a group of powerful wizards got together in an attempt to stop the dragon, but these were good wizards and some of them had even known Illrose before she became driven by revenge and they believed there could still be some good in her, so they wanted to give her a second chance at life instead of trying to kill her. By combining their powers the wizards managed to cast a spell on the mighty dragon, to trap the beast into the weaker form of a human, and so they turned Illrose into a pale woman with white hair. This magic did however only last for a little while until the spell began to 'crack', giving Illrose small briefs of time where she could turn back into her true dragon form before being forced back into the weaker human shape. In the end the spell broke completely, but the human form remained a part of Illrose, only now she could change between dragon and human as she wished - without force. The magicians didn't give up though, they got together again, and this time their spell was a much more powerful one; they expelled Illrose from their realm, and trapped her in a different world entirely. The Endless Forest.
And so Illrose arrived in the Forest, far from willingly, a small fawn seething with anger after having been tricked by the magicians, but also confusion over her new cervine form and this place as a whole. At first she went by the name Ghost, feeling just as fleeting as a phantom in the beginning. But the small fawn grew into a large, antlered cow, and Illrose took back her true name as she this time began to wreck havoc within the Forest, taking her anger out on the forest inhabitats as the magicians were well out of reach. Smaller deer were sent fleeing as Illrose chased after them, finding the same cruel satisfaction in this as she had burning down villages... well, perhaps not entirely the same, but close enough. She clashed antlers with those protecting the smaller ones, not caring that she was seen as an annoyance, that she was hated and feared.
But as she remained trapped in this prison the magicians had tossed her into, things began to change. Slowly but surely not all the forest inhabitants were seen as playthings, some became individuals she respected, eventually called friends and family. Illrose engaged in playful spell wars, she swam in the pond, she danced and laughed, and suddenly she was one who has protecting the smaller ones from being hunted down. Finally one day Illrose was able to find a way back to her own world, where she could once again take on her dragon form, spread her wings and feel the wind in her mane as she soared high above the clouds. But the rage that had burned so bright within her had faded over the time spent in the Forest, so Illrose no longer sought to destroy everything in her path, nor did she feel like taking revenge on the magicians who had trapped her in the Forest in the first place. She settled down in a cave in a mountainside above a small village bustling with life, where she still lives to this day. The Forest has become a second home to Illrose, and even though she'll might be gone for some time it seems like she'll always return - sooner or later.
Johari window. Nohari window
When in a battle, Illrose will lower her antlers at her oppontent, both to protect her own body from blows, and to have her tines strike the opponent in the chest or flank. Due to her size she prefer battles where both - or all - opponents run around as little as possible. If her opponent keeps running around, she will give chase until she get tired, or give up. Can gain high speed on short distances. May also rear up to strike her opponent with her hooves, or bring her antlers down on them. Her biggest advantage is also her greatest weakness; her vast size.

The butterfly doe strolled along the ruins, listening and looking around her, she soon stumbled upon a very large, slightly imposing doe. She certainly haven't seen this one before, nor one that big. The doe gingerly approached this skeletal-designed deer and curtsied. "Hello, what your name?" she then smiled nervously.
( Sorry, I had to leave too,
Illrose had just climbed down from 'her' spot at the Ruins, one of the many fallen walls of what seemed to have been a large - and impressive - building once. More than once had she wondered who they were, those who had built this, and why they had vanished from this place. But now she thought of going to the pond, but had merely just passed among the gravestones when she suddenly saw another deer in front of her. A deer she had spotted around lately - especially around Jack.
"Hello." She answered, her pale eyes looking down at the other female.
"My name is Illrose. What is yours?" Illrose saw no reason not to tell the other one her name, even if there probably was individuals here that might had something against her; what could they still do? No, her name was nothing dangerous to give away.
((It's fine ^^)) She gazed at
She gazed at the ruins of this place momentarily, the dilapidated beauty, the vines crawling over the elegant yet crumbling walls. The doe knew it was a building once, she still recognised them...she just couldn't quite figure out what this one was for; her memory was too fuzzy.
Shana looked up with her purple eyes, slightly startled at the sound "Hello Illrose." she smiled slightly "My name is Shana, nice to meet you.."
She knew this was a close friend of Jack's, seeing them together time after time, but still this doe seemed more distant at times than him. 'At least she gave me her name' she thought, unlike her white friend.
She simply watched the doe,
"Hello Shana." She then said, but nothing more. Couldn't yet tell if it was nice to meet this doe, as they had just barely met properly. There was no smile on her face, hidden behind the skull mask she wore, mostly to protect her face from injuries during battles.
"I have seen you around a lot, lately." Illrose then said, after a short moment in silence, finally allowing a brief smile to form her lips, although it wasn't even close to reach her eyes.
The doe shook herself, it was
Finally - as her ears
"Now now, being alone isn't that bad, is it? A slight smirk appeared now. She could relate to that, how it was to feel lonely. But in the end she had learned to enjoy the silence when being alone. After all, in the other world she was alone pretty much all the time. But it was different here, loneliess was different in this forest.
"What you do or not do is completely up to you." As if to say she had not tried to tell Shana she wanted her to stop being around. After all, she didn't know her, it was too early to tell if this was someone she would want around or not. Illrose shook her large antlers slowly, and took a deep breath.
Seeing the other deer relax,
"It is different here from what I knew. When you are alone here, you truly are alone, and it is usually for a reason." She paused "but it is nice to watch the forest in peace..heh, maybe the company of one other person is best." The doe thought of the past times in the forest, the constant rejection, she had grown bitter; for most groups she tried to be with pushed her away sooner or later. Only recently she had "warmed up" a bit.
She saw Illrose's statement as a quite neutral approach, and she felt a bit calmer. "Yes but it is heavily governed on those around you." the doe said distantly.
Well, it would be rude to
"Yeah, peace can be nice sometimes, but I gotta admit I prefer some action." The words was said with yet another grin, almost devilish. That was what she liked the most, feeling the adrenaline pumping through her veins while clashing antlers with another deer, 'feeding' of their rage and pain. After a thoughtful pause she looked at Shana again.
"You are not from here, are you? Sounds like the place you knew weren't quite like this forest." That, and the doe had said 'person' instead of 'deer'. Illrose had a feeling Shana had been yet another one of those two-legged creatures. One of the humans.
She watched the other deer
"Heheh, I can imagine." She smirked, but not in a rude way. "Not sure I'd want to be doing 'action', I'll probably get impaled on someone's antlers." The doe giggled. She prefferd simply running, or flying for her, preferably with company. She liked to feel the wind rushing with her, and the feeling of soaring high.
"No..no I'm not. Unfortunately I'm stuck here though..." She replied. This other doe still wasn't like the rest she thought, doe don't usually have massive size and antlers, nether wanting to fight all the time. Shana still had no idea what she actually was though, for all she knew this doe could've been born here.
"Probably." Illrose agreed in
"That must suck." She commented dryly, remembered far too well how pissed off she had been when she had been stuck in this goddamn forest. It was easier to be here now, when she could just leave whenever she wanted to. Illrose then tilted her head slightly.
"You used to be a human? Are you from a world with..." For a moment she silenced, trying to remember what Jack had mentioned, something he had in his world that she had never heard of.
"..trains?" She finished the sentence when the word came to mind.
She nodded briefly. Shana
"It really feels like it sometimes.." She said very dryly, but she felt like she should just bare it, fore there are some decent people here. Besides, hating everyone would only make matters worse.
"Yes I am, or..was. Why do you ask about trains?"
Shana replied, then she noticed a little earring on Illrose. Only humans can make earrings right?
Illrose shifted slightly to
"Well, I've heard of several ways in and out of here. You might find your way out if you just keep searching." There was no particular reason for her to give the advice. But, she knew it was possible to get out of here so why not share the information? So, she was from a world with trains. Then she was probably from a very different world than herself.
"I've heard of trains before but I've never seen one, I was just curious to know if you had them in your world." Illrose was about to ask another question about the topic, but she then frowned behind the mask instead.
"'Was'? Did you die?" If that was the case, then getting back to her own world was perhaps not so easy. Illrose had heard of other individuals who had ended up here after dying in another world, and she couldn't recall any of them leaving this place again.
((Oh god sorry for the late
She flicked one ear quickly, and shifted her weight to her other side. "Slim chance" she said "Besides, I don't really want to know where I'll turn up" the doe replied. This was one of her biggest fears, should she escape, or should she die here; where would she turn up? And would she be stuck there, and be in a worse place than here? Her confidence was certainly not up to trying to find out.
"Ahah, okay then. At least I've heard weirder things said here. Well, everything is weird...one could go insane in this place." Shana laughed.
The doe sighed "Yes I did.." she didn't want to tell the story though, she wasn't suspicious of the deer she was talking to, but maybe it would upset her to tell the story. Shana couldn't imagine what would happen after-after death. Nor did she want to know
( It's alright. n_n ) A
A faint shrug was given in answer to that. If the doe didn't risk to take any chances in her quest of getting out, then she was the only one to blame for still being here. Illrose had visited many various places when she had searched for a way out - she was very lucky to find a way that lead back to her own world, in the end.
"Yeah, this is definitely a strange place." Illrose replied, with a nod in agreement. A strange world filled with a lot of strange creatures, and a lot of personalities. Illrose too felt like going insane sometimes, perhaps she would have too in the end, if she hadn't been able to return to her own world. Yet another nod was given, but Illrose didn't ask any more about how she had died in the other world. Instead, she tried to remember the question she had thought of asking earlier. And when it came to mind, she looked at Shana again.
"Was there magic, in your world?"
She looked about her, a
With this unusual question, the doe paused for a moment, trying to simplify the answer. "...Not that I know of. There were stories of fairies, wizards, unicorns, and my favourite; dragons. These, as far as was known were just little children's tales and old people's stories.." she said, pondering on this strange question, and what it was leading to. An ear involuntarily flicked with all the thought.
Ack! Why haven`t I gotten

The sound of hoofbeats made her ear twitch, and Illrose turned her head as the two strangers came running by. Once they were out of sight, her pale eyes returned to Shana.
"Well, I think it can be both heaven or hell, it all depends on one's view of it." Surely this place originally seemed to be some kind of paradise, with a calm atmosphere and beautiful scenery. But, every paradise had it's beast, had it not? This place would never be truly peaceful as long as there was deer - or other creatures - who fought and hunted each other down. A smirk then formed her lips behind the mask, and Illrose almost chuckled. So, dragons was her favorite? Illrose doubted they would have been if she had encountered a real one.
"That must be strange." She commented instead, couldn't really imagine a world without dragons, or magic, or unicorns...although a world without wizards would have been nice. This forest didn't have much of any of that either, but at least it still had some magic, and many strange creature who could remind her of creatures from her own world.

A very quizzical look appeared on her face Why is it strange?.....What are you?" she smirked very slightly. The doe waited for an answer, she had a feeling this deer's answer would be very whimsical, but of course, average for this place.
"But it's not among the best
"Well, here I am a deer - obviously - but back in my own world I am a dragon." Illrose looked down, at her own shadow cast on the ground in front of her. Sometimes, her antlers could almost look like the wings of a dragon, spread out, ready to take flight. Some of the forest inhabitants had seen her true form during various events, but they weren't many, seeing as she couldn't transform into a dragon while still within the forest - at least not without the help from someone who had the power to make her transform, like Cadaver and Nathaniel.

"I know." said Shana, in a half-hearted voice. "But, you know, we just got to live with it.." she said, almost reassuring herself. The doe looked down at the bricks she was sat on, thinking the workmanship looked human, and wondered for a moment. With one leg dangling, she stroked the ground that just touched the tip of her hoof. There was certainly a lot she didn't know about this place, maybe the being in front of her could help her unlock more of its secrets.
Her purple eyes widened, this deer, was a dragon. It rocked her fundamental view on her past life, the very basis of what was real and what was fantasy. Then again, in this place, she should have seen it coming. Shana was sure she will dwell on all that later, for know she tried to bring herself back to the moment. The doe stood up and lightly hopped down from the wall, and to break the silence said "Wow. . . Well, would you like to go anywhere, it looks like you need a stretch.
( Pfft, don't worry about it.
"Indeed we do." Illrose agreed, then noticed how Shana's gaze was directed down, on the bricks of rock. This made Illrose lift her own gaze, up, taking in the sight of the Ruins. How impressive it must have been, back when it was a real building. But what kind of building? A church? Cathedral? It was unlikely they would ever get to know the answer of that, just as unlikely as it was they would get to know who it was who had built this, and what had happened to them. Illrose soon turned her attention back to Shana, perhaps a bit surprised over the lack of shock or disbelief in the other one. Shana took it quite nice, unlike others who had firmly denied the existence of dragons, even after she had told them she was one. Well, if they were from a quite different world, then it wasn't really that strange they didn't believe. Her ears twitched when the other one got up and jumped down from the wall, and with a grunt she too slowly got back on her feet.
"That sounds like a good idea, and yeah, I really do. We can go to the pond?" She was still rather thirsty, after all.
((Damnit, snow, Illrose got
That doe, remaining composed even as she was told that the person she was talking to is a dragon; had a thought. She was thinking, that with all the crazy happenings of her time, that she should just suspend disbelief and just go with everything. It isn't worth fighting over what is sane here and what isn't.
Shana suppressed a smirk as the other stood up, at the same time thinking of the sheer potential force behind that deer. "Yes, good idea." the doe smiled, turning away in the direction of the pond.
( Mwaha. >D ) Illrose stood
Illrose stood quietly, her head - like usual - lowered some, as if the weight of the vast, bloodred antlers was too heavy for her neck, her shoulderblades sticking up sharply like the keel of a boat turned upside down. Her posture was calm and relaxed, but her eyes watchful and narrowed - there was something about this doe in front of her, something she couldn't place. And she wasn't really sure if that was a good or a bad thing. Illrose shook her head slowly, as if to get rid of the thoughts that made her ponder, before she bent her head down and rubbed her cheek against one of her knees. Not because of an itch, but to get rid of the skull mask she usually hid her face behind. It finally came off, and Illrose carefully pushed it over to a corner in the Ruins with her hoof, the corner right next to 'her' spot. When that was done, she turned back towards Shana, her face now fully visible, a dark smile seemed to flash across her lips before it was gone agian.
"Let's go, then." Didn't really wait for an answer from the other doe, before she began to make her way towards the pond, one ear pointed forward, the other one turned in Shana's direction.
((Lol, Shall we have it
Shana returned her smile with a funnily neutral one, her two cat like teeth showing. Her ears lowering ever so slightly. She wasn't quite sure what she was going to do with this other one, to her, from time to time this deer keeps bordering between friendliness and ..something else. The doe decided to keep things sweet, besides, she didn't really favour being on the bad side of this creature.
"Yeah.." the feathered deer followed, her elongated legs leaving little imprint on the ground. The doe's eyes tracking the dark deer, as she trotted to her side.
( That is true. n_n
Illrose breathed with a quiet snort, her breath turned into white smoke once it came into contact with the chill air. For a moment she raised her face upwards, to glance at the tiny snowflakes falling silently to the ground. They felt cold as they melted on her face, the only spot of her body not cowered in thick fur to protect her from this kind of weather. A moment later she lowered her head to look forward again, just as Shana came up next to her. For a moment Illrose looked at the other female, and in a heartbeat decided to loosen up and let herself fool around a bit - even around this doe, whom she wasn't quite sure of yet. An almost devilish grin passed across her lips as she suddenly threw her whole body forward in a playful gesture, tossing snow up in the air with her hooves as she began to trot towards the pond with long steps, her hooves slammed down on the ground with great force with each step she made.
"Come on!" She called back to Shana, a clear challenge in her voice, a challence to have a race down to the pond.
