Many, many years ago, a pale dragon was born in a different realm. This dragon grew to be a powerful beast, yet she was a friendly and curious sort of dragon. Illrose lived peacefully among humans and other creatures for many years, until she one day returned to the place she had been born, only to find her homeland had been destroyed by humans. With cruel and powerful tools they had either murdered or taken captive the dragons who lived there. Illrose was nearly taken too, but she managed to slip away, as all the gentleness she had felt towards the humans faded, and was replaced by a fiery hatred. She waged war on the humans who had destroyed her birthplace, burned the humans and their terrible weapons, but unfortunately it was already too late; the captive dragons were beyond saving. In the end Illrose found herself alone, in a world of fire, smoke and rage.
Even after she had destroyed the humans who were responsible for the destruction of her homeplace, the hatred burned so strong in Illrose that she kept avenging the fallen dragons by burning down every village she came across. People screaming in terror as their homes were set on fire gave her a cruel satisfaction and only fuelled the fire - quite literally. Even places she had visited before, where she had lived among the humans for periods of time, fell victim to her destructive flames. She spared nothing and no one.
Eventually a group of powerful wizards got together in an attempt to stop the dragon, but these were good wizards and some of them had even known Illrose before she became driven by revenge and they believed there could still be some good in her, so they wanted to give her a second chance at life instead of trying to kill her. By combining their powers the wizards managed to cast a spell on the mighty dragon, to trap the beast into the weaker form of a human, and so they turned Illrose into a pale woman with white hair. This magic did however only last for a little while until the spell began to 'crack', giving Illrose small briefs of time where she could turn back into her true dragon form before being forced back into the weaker human shape. In the end the spell broke completely, but the human form remained a part of Illrose, only now she could change between dragon and human as she wished - without force. The magicians didn't give up though, they got together again, and this time their spell was a much more powerful one; they expelled Illrose from their realm, and trapped her in a different world entirely. The Endless Forest.
And so Illrose arrived in the Forest, far from willingly, a small fawn seething with anger after having been tricked by the magicians, but also confusion over her new cervine form and this place as a whole. At first she went by the name Ghost, feeling just as fleeting as a phantom in the beginning. But the small fawn grew into a large, antlered cow, and Illrose took back her true name as she this time began to wreck havoc within the Forest, taking her anger out on the forest inhabitats as the magicians were well out of reach. Smaller deer were sent fleeing as Illrose chased after them, finding the same cruel satisfaction in this as she had burning down villages... well, perhaps not entirely the same, but close enough. She clashed antlers with those protecting the smaller ones, not caring that she was seen as an annoyance, that she was hated and feared.
But as she remained trapped in this prison the magicians had tossed her into, things began to change. Slowly but surely not all the forest inhabitants were seen as playthings, some became individuals she respected, eventually called friends and family. Illrose engaged in playful spell wars, she swam in the pond, she danced and laughed, and suddenly she was one who has protecting the smaller ones from being hunted down. Finally one day Illrose was able to find a way back to her own world, where she could once again take on her dragon form, spread her wings and feel the wind in her mane as she soared high above the clouds. But the rage that had burned so bright within her had faded over the time spent in the Forest, so Illrose no longer sought to destroy everything in her path, nor did she feel like taking revenge on the magicians who had trapped her in the Forest in the first place. She settled down in a cave in a mountainside above a small village bustling with life, where she still lives to this day. The Forest has become a second home to Illrose, and even though she'll might be gone for some time it seems like she'll always return - sooner or later.
Johari window. Nohari window
When in a battle, Illrose will lower her antlers at her oppontent, both to protect her own body from blows, and to have her tines strike the opponent in the chest or flank. Due to her size she prefer battles where both - or all - opponents run around as little as possible. If her opponent keeps running around, she will give chase until she get tired, or give up. Can gain high speed on short distances. May also rear up to strike her opponent with her hooves, or bring her antlers down on them. Her biggest advantage is also her greatest weakness; her vast size.

The silence felt like it
"Yes, this is my final decision." Illrose tried to have a calm voice, to hide the trembling, to hide how much it hurt to do this. Her ears flopped down when she noticed the change in the stag's eyes. She remembered this stare from the 'old days', from back when they had been enemies. It was so long ago she almost forgot they had ever been. Until now.
"I will stay away from you. I promise. But then you have to promise to stay away from me as well." Her voice was cold now, she had lowered her guard while speaking to him, but she now raised it back up, hiding the sorrow behind an emotionless mask.
( Haha thanks. I'll stick with the old one though. :b )
"Understood." The red bull
The red bull turned then and started to leave in what would be the last peaceful parture between them. Though he paused. He looked back. And for a brief moment he offered her once more the look he had given her since the start of their bond. Brown eyes softened with affection, tainted with mourning.
"Goodbye..."
A moment more of hesitation then he continued on in silence leaving the dragon doe, and a piece of his heart, behind.
She lowered her head when he
"Bye." She hurried to take in the sight of him this last time, before she forced herself to turn around and walk away. With empty eyes, she headed for the background. She wanted to hide among the large rocks, and allow herself to cry, only this once.
Hello, Madam Illrose? My name

When she heard the steps of someone approaching, she was ready to snarl at them, to chase them away. But it was only a fawn. She couldn't chase away a fawn.
"Hello there, Tien." She greeted him, trying to keep her voice casual. She was glad she had her skull mask on, so no one would see her tears.
"I hide because I really wanted to be alone for a while. But you can sit here if you want to, I don't mind."
The fae nodded a tiny nod
Tien wished to play the knight, if the role was his to play. He smelled her tears, and the smell was as acrid to him as death. Tears meant sorrows, and sorrows were akin to the death of something, whether it be of body or mind.

"Than you for your offer, Tien, I really appreciate it." She gave a nod, and a faint smile, although it was not visible behind her mask.
"But I don't want you to feel obligated to sit here. Feel free to run off whenever you get bored, I will understand."

"Thank you." There really wasn't more to say than that. As long as he stayed because he wanted to, not because he felt like he had to. She sighed, but her tears had seemed to dry out a bit. It also felt wrong to cry when so many deer suddenly sat around her, even though most of them were close friends and family.

Sianna would take a place
The phoenix does mind was consumed by Illrose ever since she accepted her back. Cautious at first, but now she felt she could freely speak to the dragon... no matter how soon and foolish it may have been.
"Do you remember when I talked to you about Gustiro.. and how... I could give you everything he couldn't? That still stands, and I want to... I want to see you happy, Illrose, with me...". Sianna felt confident for some reason. Perhaps however, subconsciously she did know that Illrose would not share the same affections, and in the end be shot down. She could not live without love, or without heartache. A battle which could never be won.
moon; It did take a while for
It did take a while for Illrose to even notice the white, graceful bird. She had to look out for Neath - the creature in the pond - but even more the birds of prey that were soaring the skies. Illrose had never seen vultures here before, and she was rather apprehensive about this. But when the dove spoke, Illrose lifted her gaze and looked at it.
"I recognize your voice." She told the bird as it landed on her antler. Yes, she recognized the voice as a golden doe, they had fought together against the rock hounds.
"If it isn't too much of a trouble for you." Illrose nodded, indicated she was more than happy to have her wounds healed.
Sianna;
Just as the last time they met, Illrose lay with her eyes closed when the phoenix deer spoke. She didn't pretend to be asleep this time though, she immediately raised her head from the water. It was nice to sit here, the cool water from the pond soothed her wounds.
"Ask away." She calmly answered. Illrose had to admit she was still cautious in Sianna's presence, but nor her voice or body language gave this away. She was calm, relaxed as if she sat with her very best friend, just listening to the phoenix deer's voice as she spoke. But she was really not sure how to respond to this. Sure, Sianna did sound like she meant this, but it could also just be a part of her games. Besides, Illrose was not attracted to does anyways.
"Hm, I remember I did care very much about you...long time ago, before all this hatred. But I did never love you, Sianna. Not the way I think you want to be loved." She spoke carefully, glancing at the other doe as she did so. A slight smile then crossed her lips.
"I am thankful for that offer, Sianna, but...no. The two of us, it won't work." She shook her head slowly.
Dropped her head, frowning.
"I see", she says, pulling her head up but did not dare to make eye contact. She felt like she was sinking. Her entire life was rubbish, pointless. She could not even have a friend, let alone deer she'd known for a quite some time without falling in love, only to be rejected. Over and over. Traumatizing. - It was her own fault, she knew this, but changing completely, that could never be accomplished, not for a doe like Sianna.
"You're positive", she says but not in question, it was repeating, acknowledging the rejection. "I Suppose... I'll just go sit with Caen". She would go to white mini across the way, droopy and miserable without another word.
This won't hurt. Phion
The golden doe smiled warmly like a nurse before gently beginning her ministrations on Illrose. Her muzzle "kissed" each bruise and scrape. They tingled, knitting together and fading away, only the very deepest scaring lightly. Her eyes became foggy, green and black mixing as her coat began to glimmer around her. The healing made her happy, and her skin ached to stretch in joyful leaps even though it could not.
As the last bruise faded, the doe bowed and took another deep breath; her body falling away and in to the water as sand as she flapped free of the earth that made up her deer body.
The dove flew high in joy and happiness, before remembering Illrose on the ground and flying down to her antler again. Do not say thank you, because I have to thank you for letting me heal you. I have not been welcomed nearby anyone in awhile.
(thanks, starling! The avatar is amazing! And Thanks Pretzil for the siggie!
Sianna; Her shoulders dropped
Her shoulders dropped as she watched the phoenix deer move over to sit with Caen. By Sianna's posture it could look like she had really hurt her feelings. Illrose sighed, before she placed her feet underneath her body before she rose from the water - slow and painfully. Every move was slow, to avoid any of the wounds would start to bleed again. Soon she sat down next to Sianna.
"We are still friends, right?" She asked. It would be a shame if this newly regained friendship would be thrown away so quickly.
moon;
Illrose gave a nod. It was a good thing this was painless, but pain was really one of the last things she feared. Oh well. She watched with interest as the dove disappeared inside the sand as it created the doe. This golden deer's powers were truly fascinating. Illrose closed her eyes when Phion begun her healing, she could feel how every touch, every 'kiss' made her skin tingle and grow warm, before the wound, bruise or pain went away. It was truly a relief, and she took a deep breath when Phion was finished. She felt like a whole new deer, healthy and strong. She opened her eyes again, watching the dove as it flied high in the skies, before it came back down to her. A small smile appeared on her lips, behind her mask.
"I shall not thank you then, but I want you to know you are welcome to sit with me anytime you want. You are welcomed near me."
Thank you lots for helping me

She is searching for a deer named Pierce, and everyone that is not Pierce is of no interest to her right now. xD
((I hope it's okay that I
Celtis was terrified at the sight of Illrose at first, and ran away. But then he felt badly about not even giving her a chance, and came back to apologize. "...Forgive me for being so rude, madame. You just...well...your skull, I mean face..." He stumbled over the words, trying not to insult the towering black deer with his explanation. Flustered, he mumbled. "It's a very nice skull. You're..not mad...right?" He flicked an ear. She...almost hadn't seemed to have heard him. Feeling terribly awkward, but too polite to just leave, he shuffled in place.
( Yes, of course it's okay, I
She merely showed interest in the red deer as he ran away, and even less when he returned. Her eyes- red glowing orbs - stared into the distance, as she smelled the air, on a never ending search after the stag named Pierce. A stag she had never met before, but she instinctively knew his scent. The stranger's voice reached her ears, and the black doe slowly turned her head, stared at him blankly. She then stretched her neck to sniff his scent - and threw a tantrum of annoyance when it was not the scent she was looking for. She backed away from the red deer and turned her head away. He was of no interest.
((Haha, well maybe once the
His ears flicked forward. Had he finally won her attention? She leaned in, that strange skull drawing one deep whuff of breath in through its bony nostrils. He held perfectly still. And then pranced backwards as she stomped about. Apparently she hadn't liked his scent, or else was angry with him. She was giant, and for a moment he thought to run again. She could easily crush him with a kick or thrust of her massive horns... But she didn't quite seem angry. After a long moment he edged forward again. "Madame...Are you...alright? Can you speak? ...Can I help?" He looked down at the ground, at her (huge, razor-edged) hooves. If he looked into those red pits that were where her eyes should be, he knew he'd bolt. He probably should know better, should run...a life in the forest had made him too trusting, perhaps. He thought he could help. Thought he should help.
((Poor Celtis. Too chivalrous and well-mannered for his own good.))
The black doe was positive
"You are not him."She hissed, her voice barely understandable through the snarl. She raised a hoof, stomping it in the ground.
"Get out of my sight. Leave!" She slammed a hoof in the ground again, this time with enough force to make the earth shake. Her eyes pierced the stag with a deadly glare, warning him to leave now.
( Yes, perhaps they will. Haha, he is so sweet. c': )
'Not him'...The realization
((He probably wouldn't recognize her. Haha, she's got quite the crowd watching her in-game!))
A hint of satisfaction was
( Yes, she had. And she didn't like it, lol. xD )
That was a fun scuffle there
By the way, would Illrose have bitten Pho? I don't mind if he gets infectected, just curious.
Haha, yeah. xD She haven't
She haven't attempted to bite him yet, but she can if you want him to join the black deer. :b
(Edit - Sorry I didn't see
The blackbuck sits by her, watching Illrose lay motionless. Quad's eyes are filled with tears, as he now sees her up close...seeing how much her body has changed...how corrupted and diseased she has become.
"I'm here, Illrose. Please don't be afraid.", Quad says, his Grand Talux wings growing out. He only wants to help, but he can tell this darkness that covers her is not Iugulare's infection.
His body glows just slightly, the light enough to shine upon her body. He has to be absolutely sure that the light burst would help cleanse her. If this darkness is too intertwined with the real Illrose, then Quad may be too late to help.
"Please...please come back to us, Illrose..."
That's alright, and it was
I admit what you just posted would have been perfect for waking her up again, but I have already plotted that out, sorta, and I don't plan on her to come back just yet, rather some time tomorrow.
