Many, many years ago, a pale dragon was born in a different realm. This dragon grew to be a powerful beast, yet she was a friendly and curious sort of dragon. Illrose lived peacefully among humans and other creatures for many years, until she one day returned to the place she had been born, only to find her homeland had been destroyed by humans. With cruel and powerful tools they had either murdered or taken captive the dragons who lived there. Illrose was nearly taken too, but she managed to slip away, as all the gentleness she had felt towards the humans faded, and was replaced by a fiery hatred. She waged war on the humans who had destroyed her birthplace, burned the humans and their terrible weapons, but unfortunately it was already too late; the captive dragons were beyond saving. In the end Illrose found herself alone, in a world of fire, smoke and rage.
Even after she had destroyed the humans who were responsible for the destruction of her homeplace, the hatred burned so strong in Illrose that she kept avenging the fallen dragons by burning down every village she came across. People screaming in terror as their homes were set on fire gave her a cruel satisfaction and only fuelled the fire - quite literally. Even places she had visited before, where she had lived among the humans for periods of time, fell victim to her destructive flames. She spared nothing and no one.
Eventually a group of powerful wizards got together in an attempt to stop the dragon, but these were good wizards and some of them had even known Illrose before she became driven by revenge and they believed there could still be some good in her, so they wanted to give her a second chance at life instead of trying to kill her. By combining their powers the wizards managed to cast a spell on the mighty dragon, to trap the beast into the weaker form of a human, and so they turned Illrose into a pale woman with white hair. This magic did however only last for a little while until the spell began to 'crack', giving Illrose small briefs of time where she could turn back into her true dragon form before being forced back into the weaker human shape. In the end the spell broke completely, but the human form remained a part of Illrose, only now she could change between dragon and human as she wished - without force. The magicians didn't give up though, they got together again, and this time their spell was a much more powerful one; they expelled Illrose from their realm, and trapped her in a different world entirely. The Endless Forest.
And so Illrose arrived in the Forest, far from willingly, a small fawn seething with anger after having been tricked by the magicians, but also confusion over her new cervine form and this place as a whole. At first she went by the name Ghost, feeling just as fleeting as a phantom in the beginning. But the small fawn grew into a large, antlered cow, and Illrose took back her true name as she this time began to wreck havoc within the Forest, taking her anger out on the forest inhabitats as the magicians were well out of reach. Smaller deer were sent fleeing as Illrose chased after them, finding the same cruel satisfaction in this as she had burning down villages... well, perhaps not entirely the same, but close enough. She clashed antlers with those protecting the smaller ones, not caring that she was seen as an annoyance, that she was hated and feared.
But as she remained trapped in this prison the magicians had tossed her into, things began to change. Slowly but surely not all the forest inhabitants were seen as playthings, some became individuals she respected, eventually called friends and family. Illrose engaged in playful spell wars, she swam in the pond, she danced and laughed, and suddenly she was one who has protecting the smaller ones from being hunted down. Finally one day Illrose was able to find a way back to her own world, where she could once again take on her dragon form, spread her wings and feel the wind in her mane as she soared high above the clouds. But the rage that had burned so bright within her had faded over the time spent in the Forest, so Illrose no longer sought to destroy everything in her path, nor did she feel like taking revenge on the magicians who had trapped her in the Forest in the first place. She settled down in a cave in a mountainside above a small village bustling with life, where she still lives to this day. The Forest has become a second home to Illrose, and even though she'll might be gone for some time it seems like she'll always return - sooner or later.
Johari window. Nohari window
When in a battle, Illrose will lower her antlers at her oppontent, both to protect her own body from blows, and to have her tines strike the opponent in the chest or flank. Due to her size she prefer battles where both - or all - opponents run around as little as possible. If her opponent keeps running around, she will give chase until she get tired, or give up. Can gain high speed on short distances. May also rear up to strike her opponent with her hooves, or bring her antlers down on them. Her biggest advantage is also her greatest weakness; her vast size.

YEHHESSSSS
Yay, thanks for your help,
ahh, i'm sorry if this is out
It's not out of place at all.
This day had truly been troublesome. Illrose wasn't even sure when it all had started. Was it perhaps when Gustiro was surrounded by claimed deer and didn't give her the attention she expected from him? Was it the fights with Moon Thief? Was it the confusions with the stranger she had to chase that made her mental state drop? All Illrose knew was she had snapped when Gustiro had left her to sit with Dinah Moon instead. Dinah - the enemy. Where had Dinah been when Gustiro was severely injured, and needed protection? Had Dinah been there to protect the wounded stag from attacks. No, she hadn't. It was Illrose. She had guarded Gustiro for hours, for days, and this was how he paid her back. By betraying her. Illrose hadn't been able to hold the rage back anymore, so she had chased minis and fought the demon stag Euyru, until she almost collapsed down by the pond. When she woke up, Illrose could feel the warmth from someone besides her. She blinked, and looked at the fawn, a tired smile appearing on her face.
"Hello dear." She greeted Ming Yue, shifting her position to sit more comfortable.
yay. <3 "Hello," he replied,
Illrose chuckled lightly. "I
"I am now, with you here." She replied in a playful tone, giving the fawn a gentle nudge on the neck. No, she was not okay. She was far from okay, but reasons - that were so many and confusing - were to difficult to explain, especially for a fawn. Illrose's eyes drifted toward the pond, where the dragonflies were darting back and forth on almost invincible wings. She then nodded her head.
"Yes, I'm tired, it was good to have a bit of sleep." She sighed for a moment, and shook her antlers before she looked down at Ming.
"What have you been up to today, those times I didn't see you around? Got any fawn-friends to play with?" There had been a lot of fawns in the forest lately, or at least Illrose thought so. Although it could have been her that just hadn't really noticed them until now.
I have to go to bed now, I'll reply more tomorrow. :')

Chicken;
"She frowned for a moment.
"Sounds interesting. Tell me about it? Me? Well, I've been fine, I guess." Being in the state she was in now, with low physical health and even lower mental health, she didn't really wanna talk about how she had been.
True. xD And I had expected more from Mr. Lordi when he finally decided to make his appearance in the movie, lol. :') Thank you. :'D
Though the buck, having by
"You guess?..." He asked, rubbing a soft cheek against hers, longing to see the face beneath the mask again...
Yeah, like... some words XD But it's really quite adorable, he says himself that he's shy and not an actor XD
Illrose immediately pulled
"I don't want to talk about it." She snapped, with her ears pinned to her neck. But it didn't take long before one of the ears perked again.
"I much more want you to tell me about that dream-eating incident of yours."
He's shy? I never would have thought that. xD Oh well, the movie did had some interesting moments, so it wasn't a total waste. :')
A frown creasing Raleigh's
(What has happened to you?... My sweet, strong Illrose...) His thoughts were dark and gloomy and almost immediately seeking revenge for whatever had happened to "his" doe.
Still, sensing her dislike for the subject, a small smile appeared on his face as he sighed at her question.
(Some other time, my dear...)
"Oh, It was quite trivial, really... A newcomer but ancient demon seems to have become rather smitten with me... Needless to say, in the not-so-benevolent way..." He chuckled, picking up a mushroom to offer his lady. Charming as ever...
I agree, I especially like the whole plot-twist with the time pocket, though I usually really hate things like that XD Awa was great >w<
Soon, when she was sure he
"Sounds like a nice fellow." She replied, with a tone that made it difficult to say if she was ironic or not. Illrose simply ignored the mushroom he offered her, not at all hungry, if that was his reason for giving it to her.
It's a while since I've seen the movie, so I don't remember everything, but yes, Awa was cool. :b
Her evasive behaviour did not
"Not entirely, she has become more or less of a... stalker, so to say..." He said, wanting to move closer, but respectfully kept his distance...
"But my dear... You seem anxious..." He said, tilting his head, a fresh but small scar at the corner of his eye.
She was definitely my favourite in the film >w<
Illrose tilted her head
"What is her name?" She asked. She doubted she had ran into this demon herself, but one could never know. Perhaps she had. Illrose then shook her head.
"No, I'm fine. Don't you worry about me." Or at least, she would be fine, once she managed to shut down these feelings. The feeling of anger and sadness. Illrose looked at Raleigh, noticing the scar at the corner of his eye.
"If she becomes too much of an annoyance, I'll happily fight her for you." She said, feeling she was in need for a fight right now.
:'D
But Raleigh just chuckled,
"So kind of you, fair lady, but I can take care of her myself... Haunted is my own problem." He said, as calm and collected as ever. Though, still looking worried, he motioned to want to move closer, testing to see if it was okay with his lady friend.
"But, my love, something has happened to you... Will you tell me?" He asked, for once in his life looking genuinely concerned...
Illrose was special to him... he would not allow any harm to befall her unpunished...
Haunted. So that was the
"As you wish." Illrose had plenty of other deer she could fight, deer that already disliked her, probably with good reasons. A growling sound could be heard in her throat by Raleigh's motioning, but this time she didn't pull back as she had did last time. She simply didn't have the energy to keep him away.
"No, I won't. It's too embarrassing. What happened is my own fault, because I for once listened to my feelings, and ignored what my friends told me. They were right, of course, and now I'm paying the price." She simply stated, again in this emotionless tone. How her relationship with Gustiro would be after this was still unsure, but even more, her relationship to Kheiron, whom she at the moment disliked almost as much as her enemy, Dinah Moon.
Still, this just made Raleigh
"My sweet, poor Illrose... what have you been getting yourself into in my absence?..." He asked, keeping his distance at the growl, but still obviously wanting to comfort her.
"You should know... feelings are treacherous things... best left ignored." He smiled with a much too sweet expression.
He always had been a little off, but it appeared to only have gotten worse...
She gritted her teeth
"Don't feel sorry for me! I'll be fine. Soon." She growled. She didn't want anyone's sympathy, she just wanted them to leave her alone with her rage until things got better. She then looked at Raleigh.
"I do know, that's why I feel so stupid right now." She replied. She had at least learned a lesson from all this. Never get feelings for anyone, never trust anyone. She nodded slowly.
"From now on I will ignore my feelings, just as I should have done in the first place."
Making a smile so calm, it
"You sound like you need to react on something." He said, walking to her side, though still keeping fair distance. Flirtatious and selfish as he might be, at least he held respect for Illrose. And possibly none others.
A chuckle escaped her lips, a
"Yes, I guess I do." She replied, looking over at Raleigh. How different he looked now, from the first time she had met him, when he was only a fawn. They had both been back then.
"You have any suggestions, perhaps?" She then asked. For a moment she kept the same distance as Raleigh, before she decided to move a bit closer. As long as she was the one to do the approaching, she didn't mind being closer to Raleigh right now.
This movement making Raleigh
"Well... I know a few deer who'd... Or we could go attack a tree. Both work, except the tree, sadly, doesn't whimper." He said with a small sigh, looking genuinely disappointed.
He'd truly changed... He no longer tried to hide his ambivalent nature towards the lives of other creatures... He found himself completely shedding his mask in the company of the masculine doe.
Illrose snorted for a
"Trees are no fun." She had attacked one yesterday, to blow off some steam. And when Illrose attacked a tree, she attacked the Old Oak itself, because the sound coming from the tree was simply annoying.
"Which deer did you have in mind?" She asked, now stretching her neck, so that her skull mask briefly rubbed against Raleigh's white fur. Her mood was getting better already, probably because she had gotten some rest now.
A positively malicious smile
"A pathetic, little individual who won't fight back... How about it?" He asked, gratefully accepting her touch and wanting to return it, but doing so with the utmost care. He didn't want to scare his little doe away, after all...
haha, it was ok. i had to go
Chicken; Illrose perked her
Illrose perked her ears.
"A little invidual? Aren't two against one pretty unfair, then?" She didn't want to ruin the fun, but she had two rules she always tried to follow. Never harm fawns, and never fight dirty. The only time she had broken that rule was when she witnessed Jergens killing Jack, which has resulted in her attacking the badly injured Jergens, killing him as a revenge. Although, both Jergens and Jack were back now, so the forest's magic sure was unpredictable. She only smiled at how carefully he returned the gesture, still a hint of anger in her eyes, but the talk with Raleigh had helped her getting in a better mood.
Parler;
:')
She had to laugh at the fawn's idea.
"The biggest deer in the forest. That would be cool, eh?" Her eyes blinked mysteriously as she leaned closer to Ming, almost whispering when she spoke again.
"But you know what? I have actually seen the biggest deer in the forest, and I'm pretty sure no one will ever be as huge as him! That would at least have to be one of the Gods." She smiled, hoping that this would catch the fawn's attention. And she wasn't even joking, she had actually seen the largest deer that would ever step into this forest. Illrose's ears perked as she listened to Ming talking. She felt sorry for him since he hadn't met much other fawns.
"Hmm, I'm sure you will find some friends one day." She said, before she smiled.
"Oh, I didn't do much. Was a bit tired, so I mostly just sat around." She said with a chuckle.
But Raleigh merely
"Oh, fret not, my pretty, he's nowhere near a fawn, he's probably older than the both of us. He'd be resting near the old oak at this time of day~..." The white stag mused innocently, as if only talking about a slightly peculiar weather-phenomenon and not mutilation-in-the-making.
She was still unsure, but at
"Let's go and see if he is there. But I have not decided anything yet, I want to see what kind of opponent he is first." She stated firmly. Also, two against one was still unfair, wasn't it, no matter who their victim was.
Still, Raleigh grinned,
"Oh, don't worry... once you see him, you'll undoubtedly want to hit him..." He said, malicious intend seething off of his words...
And soon enough, they approached a sleeping figure between two, young trees near the old oak, a young buck with the magpie pelt, tiny, black wings instead of antlers and a mask to silence his every word.
Raleigh's smirk increased.
"The biggest deer in the
i'm cleaning up my room, so i probably won't reply quickly, haha. and ming might be unresponsive in the forest.
Chicken; Illrose followed
Illrose followed Raleigh, not sure what to expect of the stag they was about to see. Most of all she imagined it to be a large brute who needed two opponents to be defeated. But the deer Raleigh lead her to was nothing like that. She frowned, confused.
"But.." She began, while she looked at the deer. He looked familiar. She had seen him long time ago, when she still was a fawn, and she couldn't understand why Raleigh would have a reason to fight him. Illrose looked at the white stag with her piercing eyes, waiting for an explanation.
Parler;
Illrose shook her head when Ming misunderstood her words.
"No, he was not one of the Gods...or, perhaps he was, but he was not one of the Twin Gods. What I tried to say, was that only the Gods could be as large as this deer. So perhaps he is a third God, after all." She chuckled to end her rambling, but at the same time pleased with getting Ming's attention.
"Hm, what he was like? He was a walking corpse, with an icy breath and a mighty roar that sends shivers down the spine on fawns like you. Not to mention he is always followed by thick fog that surrounds him. His name is Velocity, and he will come back when it is Halloween. You know what Halloween is, right?" Illrose hadn't even noticed how eager she became while talking about the great zombie deer that had appeared in the forest last Halloween. She looked forward to run with him when he came back this year. She then smiled at Ming.
"Yes, of course, you do have us. And that Deion, I think I've seen him once. I'm sorry if I was rather harsh with him, but he seemed so aggressive, I was afraid he would hurt you. And I have been in the forest for a while, ever since I was a fawn like you."
But Raleigh just smirked back
"This is my personal punchbag. You see, he has a unique skin, which stops almost all kinds of damage to come to him. Of course, two against one would not be fair... so I will allow you to have the fun." He said with a calm smile as the sleeping deer stirred slightly, strangely immature voice cracking just a little as he yawned and stretched.
awh, what you wrote about
Chicken; It was tempting,
It was tempting, but...Illrose still hesitated. It seemed so wrong to fight this stag who now slept so peacefully, seemingly unaware of their presence. And, she remembered him from her fawnhood, he had been nice to her then, she had no reason to fight him.
"Is he even able to fight back?" She asked Raleigh. If not, that would make it even less fun.
Mini;
Well, it is true, lol. <3
I could have sworn I
At least you did now. :')
Indeed!
But Raleigh just
"He is, not to worry..." He said, tail flicking in excitement as he approached the buck, now slowly waking up.
He looked bigger than Raleigh, and like he had more muscle-mass... but that might have something to do with his thick, soft fur which could probably loose a badger in it.
(short text is short T__T;;)
Illrose's white eyes narrowed
"No, I won't fight him." She stated in a firm voice. It didn't seem right, this stag didn't seem to be the deer that could provoke her into attacking him, it didn't look like he could lure all her rage to the surface. He wasn't the right deer, simple as that.
At this, Raleigh almost
"But my sweet... He can survive anything and you'll be sure he won't run and tell either!..." He tried, almost desperate to provoke her wrath enough for her to attack none other than his own brother... But how was she to know this?
Lol I didn't know that
Btw, how I see we have one the same enemy... Dinah. She is enemy for my Dampir.
And nice bio (:
Chicken; Illrose still
Illrose still hesitated. But she then snorted, and stomped a hoof in the ground before she looked from Raleigh to the other stag.
"Alright, let's see what he's got then." She said, before she walked over to the other stag. She lowered her head, and bumped her antlers into his body.
"Hey, are you awake yet?" She asked mockingly, a grin appearing on her lips. Hopefully he would be more interesting to fight than he seemed right now.
Dampir;
Lol, she is. xD Oh, so that is the name of the fawn, he is really sweet. <3
xD
Thank you. n__n
Making the stag give a huff
The stag on the ground blinked.
"I... g-guess?..." He said, getting up on tired legs, slightly clumsy, but obviously supporting a fair amount of muscle.
(I will wait until tomorrow
Chicken; She tilted her head,
She tilted her head, immediately more curious about this stag. Of course, she remembered him from her fawnhood, but he probably didn't remember her, unless he remembered her god-given name.
"Good, get up then." She said, stomping her hoof to make him get on his feet faster.
"My friend here says you don't feel pain. I wanna see if that is true." She nodded in Raleigh's direction as she said this, before she all of a sudden leaped forward with her antlers down, crashing into the stag.
Gustiro;
Sounds like a good idea. n___n
