I don't usually like long haired dogs, but I live in a hot climate so I see it as a bit silly when we have days of 31 degrees C and 100% humidity. 8c
I was doing a school thing with a shelter, and we were hydro-bathing a malamute. Like, three layers of fur designed for snow. And he's living in humid Australia. It's not always humid, but summer must be shocking for the poor boy.
Though, for you a long haired dog is perfectly logical ouo.
Yeah it's not fair on the dog really if it's left alone. Plus who knows if it'd mess up the house LOL.
Awwww yeah. I feel sorry for dogs with huge coats that live in hotter countries. Must feel like they're melting ;;
I think a dog with a thicker coat would be okay here though since our winters are freezing and our summers aren't too hot really. There may be some days it'd be quite hot but it's kinda rare LOL.
xDD! I hate leaving my dogs inside when I'm not home. One is an outside dog and the other is indoor and outdoor. During winter I would if I had to, but not during summer. I still don't like it. I mean, I often put her outside when I'm not home so she socialises with our other dog and so that dog doesn't get jealous. The outside dog is only allowed inside if its hot or thunder storming. Sometimes she gets let in so she knows she's special, too 8D.
;;. Mm. This dog's name was Diesel, I think. He was so sweet. But imagine finding a home for him? I don't think he's been rehomed yet :c. Do you have a cat? They don't need constant supervision, lol.
Yeah. Our winters get to 16 degrees C during the day. To most people that's freezing and they need a jumper. I personally find it refreshing, but whatever.

FFFF that's warm/hot to us ;__; In the winter here it's normal for it to go below 0 degrees C LOL. During the day it'll mostly be about 2-10 degrees C. Depends if it rains LOL.
