The Scorpion's Sting.
Tail is deadly equipped with venom, see
here for symptoms. Always uses her stinger during fights but does not always envenom her targets. The usage of venom will be indicated by sneezing her antlers off to default.
»
Unhallowed.
The light and the holy is harmful to her body, this includes substances and magic. Primarily in the forest, the devout spell rapidly scorches her fur and flesh and can even result in death if she is over exposed to it. Once upon a time, owned a magical blockade in the form of a pendant that blocked any kind of magic thus protecting her from the devout's harmful effect but it has long since been lost.

just a reference on the rut! because this is hella outdated and unused ):

- Not seeking offspring, participating solely for the social aspect.
- Switches between competitor and judge (default antlers + poppies = competing), though due to a recent injury resulting in the loss of her left eye will likely be keeping to the sidelines until the eye has fully regrown (somewhere around the 7th to spare me from updating this again hahaha god I'm lazy)
Umay nods her head in
"Yes... Illrose." Her eyes follow the male as he switches position, she had little more to say to that, but she spoke the dragon's name with fondness in her voice. "I can tell you're dear to her." An easy observation. "I hardly see you with many others apart from the usual." She doesn't find it necessary to list the ones she usually catches Jack with, he knows who his allies are. "You're a reserved person?" Remembering that he's not truly 'deer', she refers to him as person rather than creature.
That was an interesting
The white tilted his head slightly. "What's with you eh? See you with the same too..." at least he could tell some faces that clearly 'belonged' to her side. "Hmm... you are eeh more nosy than I though, yes?" He grinned again... actually she wasn't much more nosy than anyone else he had met yet, propably even less. Still he had expected her to be different. Especially since they had met under other circumstances... much less peaceful... Usually the creatures around here where much more begrudging in such cases. Another interesting fact about her...
She was patient when it came
"I understand. I can relate to that.. don't like many, not many like me. Actually, I probably frighten off more company than I attract." A shrug follows on after her words. "But I care little for the opinions of others. If they hate me, so be it. If they fear me, that's their problem. Perhaps they're in the right mind to feel that way." Although, despite her violent reputation, she wasn't evil. Far from it. Heavily misunderstood, just like most of her family. Or 'the pack', as others had grouped them.
"I stick with the same because they're dear to me, they're my family. We trust each other, we can relate, we accept our loved ones for who or what they are. And let's not forget what I am - whether that's a lion or dogcowthing, I'm a predator in a prey-filled forest who's known for starting shit. Either I'm feared or hated, so I don't usually bother interfering with others. No point."
She takes a quick glance at her surroundings, then continues to facing the other again. "Just curious." She returns the grin with a brief smile. Umay wasn't entirely black and white - neither grudging or forgiving; it all depended on her mood, the person, the situation, and the crime. There was never a grudge against the white stag in the first place, at least not that she could remember, which means it must not have been important to her. If anything, she usually disliked ending up in conflict with Jack.
She never intended on wedging herself onto his bad side.
Again he lsitened carefully.
A faint smile appeared on his face again, every piece of information was stored in the back of his head.... out of habit... they could be useful some time.
The smile faded at some point... when she started to speak about family. A certain tension seemed to grab the white's body, nervously he shifted his weight , turned his face away from her.
"See... heh... much a like, yes?" he muttered, shaking his head again. "Don't care about others, yes? Heh... n don't like them either..." he paused for a moment, tried to calm down his mind, still stressing over the part with family and loved ones.
Eventually he turned his face back to her, a grin on his face again, more tensed this time. "Curious eh? Isn't that what killes he cat?".... one of his favourite sayings...

Jack:
It's alright, I'm gonna have to type my reply up after college though, ran out of time again. /punts self
Umay was hardly a speaker,
The lioness noticed that Jack grinned a lot, so it seemed, so she's quick to pick up on his changed demeanor. The last thing she was blind to was emotion; Jack emitted some kind of stiffness in the air. Her eyes narrow, more so out of uncertainty. What was it that caused him to suddenly change?
For the time being, she pushes the thought aside and chooses not to question about it yet.
"I can take a risk." She's heard that saying before. In fact, Jack probably wasn't the first to have mentioned it to her.
A moment is taken to eye the other suspiciously. Umay's quick to change her mind and decides to ask about earlier, "What bothered you just then?"

bleh, super delayed. :I
((is fine xD I don't mind it
The white shifted his weight again, stretched hi scarred leg a little more. The former tension seemed to slowly fade from his muscles again. He had managed to keep his mind busy, leading it away from unwanted thoughts about 'family'.
"No risk no fun, eh?" he smirked, let out another chuckle, tilted his head slightly.
"Bothered? Eh... what should I bothered by? Is not the first curious...eeeh... cat crossing my way... yes?" he started to grin again. It was obvious he didn't catch the point of her question. Reactions such as tension about certain topics where just too normal by now as that he would actually notice them on himself.
"Exactly." came her simple
"Oh." Her short replies occur once more, it appears to be that the demoness was running out of things to say. She was comfortable with silence though, so conversation or not - she would still be content. She figured Jack was more of a speaker, but she didn't know for sure. During her quietness, she faces away. No point in keeping eye contact if she wasn't going to say anything more.
Still looking ahead, Umay adds on, "You changed, that's all." She didn't want to seem too invasive when it came to discovering things about Jack, so she tries to avoid personal questions.
ermahgerd those comics /so

"Heh like that way of thinking, yes?" he snickered. Indeed in the past, when he had been trapped in here with no possibility to get 'home' again, he had started the one or other game as well... either out of boredom or out of frustration and desperation.
Times had changed, though... slightly.
Her next words caused him to turn his head towards her again, casting a suspicious look at her.
"Changed? .... heh... how can you say that... talk for the first time, yes?" eyes behind the shaded glasses narrowed slightly again. Once again it was obvious, he didn't catch what she was refferin to...
((Theeeeere they r.))

Umay doesn't respond to
The Demoness, especially when first arriving in the forest, harboured incredibly bad habits of violence. Fortunately for others, perhaps even herself, she's toned down a lot ever since then with the help of certain individuals. She didn't always like this though, as she often felt restrained. Or as she's seen it before - tied to a leash. But it was for the best if she was going to be spending the rest of her life trapped here.
Unless of course she discovered an escape, but the chances of that happening were slim. Umay knew that. She gave up hope a long time ago.
"When someone's been grinning the entirety of our conversation and then that suddenly drops, I do notice." There's an innocent shrug. Perhaps she was over-analyzing things, maybe she made herself look like she.. stared too much. Oh well.
"But nevermind, I just wondered."
"Who's grinning here al the
He snorted. Allthough this blindness to his own body, he could guess by now what she was talking about. A nervous headshake followed this realization. Observant dogcow, wasn't she?
For a moment there lay a sharp reply on his tongue.... until a voice in the back of his head reminded him of the relation to the dragondoe. 'Sister' yes? He had hurt her enough in the past already... and he had made a promise.
He swallowed down the bitter comment, forced a smile on his face again.
"Don't you have them too...? Eh... talks you don't like...?" he turned his face away from her, dropped the smile. "Everyone has them.... yes..."
Her brows furrow slightly.
"Well.. yes, Jack. You."
I mean, isn't that why they call him 'Smiling' Jack?
Despite the humorless tone in the white's voice, she can't help but not take his question seriously.
During the beginning of their conversation, she felt comfortable and welcomed in the male's company.
Now - not so much. He didn't need to say much to cause her to feel off.
An ear perks as she turns to face the white one once again. She thinks for a moment, not entirely sure what Jack could be referring to this time.
"What do you mean..?"
He lifted an eyebrow, shook
... that was propably one reason for his 'nickname' here, besides the conspicuous scars on his cheeks. Thought the actual roots for this name lay in the past, appeared even before the scars appeared on his face.
He glanced over to her, he hadn't expected to ask such a question in return. Another uncomfortable movement went through his body, he stayed silent for a while, searching for the right words. When they came he spoke unusal slow and calm, without the tension that alway seem to lay in his voice, as if he had to concentrate to bring them out without accident.... whatever this accident may was.
"Topics... you don't like to talk about. That you don't want to listen to. That makes you ...sick... nervous... angry... when hearing about. That reminds you of things..." he paused for a moment, didn't turn his eyes to her the whole time. "Don't you know that, lion? Everyone has that... some more, some less. Could place a bet ... you know well, too...." he licked his lips again, cleared his throat, fell silent again.
She couldn't understand where
Despite Jack avoiding eye contact with the lioness, she remained looking towards his face as the male spoke; silent as she listened. She didn't need that much of an explanation to clear up her misunderstanding on his question, but it worked.
"... Of course I know." She knew one in particular full of sensitive topics, even herself was one of them. "I do too." Her gaze seems to harden briefly, "And I'm assuming I brought up one of yours." There's another shrug, she looks away, and doesn't say more. As curious as she was, she didn't want to press deeply into his life; it was none of her business. If he wanted to tell her, then sure, but they weren't friends, her lack of trust was probably mutual, and so she couldn't imagine him doing so.
Just gonna plop this in
Shitty post 'cause I'm a poopface.

Contrasting eyes narrowed as he glared at the new wounds covering his sister. His head moved in closer to inspect them and perhaps catch a scent or two. This was just one of many times he had found her injured in such a short space of time. He had been calm about it the previous times but now he believed it was going too far. It was frustrating to not know anything that was going on when it was to do with family.
"I've had enough." he finally said, a cold tone in his voice. He pulled his head away, eyes now focused on her own. "What the hell is going on, Umay? Who the fuck is doing this to you?"
Eventually a glance was made
He had another, longer look at her, debating with himself if he should reveal what topic he spoke about. He decided against it. After all, he shared nothing more with the female than the same, close friend... or sister... in her case.
"Yes..." he said "Eh... happens a lot, though... got used to it." he snickered, before he fell silent again.
((i have to admit, i slowly run out of topics for talking |D but i think this is a good first introduction for them....))
Leonardo wasn't running over
Starr: The demoness remains
The demoness remains mostly looking away from the ebony wolf as they lie together. Umay assumes that he's angry at her, or that maybe he thinks she was the one to start the fight this time. It was usually the case when it came to the lioness.
She's not sure how to answer Kody's question. There had been a lot of fights lately that didn't always involve the same foes.
She gives a small shrug, releasing a heavy sigh. "I've been in a fight with more than one."
JackStrauss:
His grin causes one of her own to form, though it was small and only brief. She wasn't overly concerned in the first place, but she was relieved to know that her words didn't unsettle Jack to the point of him feeling put off. It'd be a shame to regain her position in being on negative terms.
Although she doesn't reply with speech, she does respond with a single nod to acknowledge his words. She sits in silence.

Hahaa it's fine, I did too. But I agree, it was a nice introduction, glad the chance came for them to talk. <3
emslee007:
Haha, I know, and it's fine. She just took it that way since they're not exactly on friendly terms and he was running up behind her so she took it as a threat. I couldn't tell if he attacked or not though as it happened so quickly, it was all kind of a blur. I don't blame him for reacting like that though at all muaha, I probably would have too. (x
But nah, there's no need to apologize <3 I had fun, hope she wasn't bothersome to you.

It doesn't surprise the wolf
Eyes remain on her own and ears flatten back slightly. "Who?" his voice holds the same bitter tone. He knew that the doe would think he was mad at her, however, it was quite the opposite. "I'm not pissed at you if that's what you think." he added with a softer tone.
yes i enjoyed it too ...
His softer tone is
"Not sure." she answers honestly, "...never crossed my mind to catch his name." She quickly clears her throat before explaining, briefly, what happened.
"The guy randomly went after me, I didn't do anything to provoke him. Then I got angry." she was pretty sure she didn't need to elaborate on that.
"He's been the reason for some of my other fights. He.. attacked Haakon for no reason too. Illrose was involved as well." The explanation wasn't as long as she thought it would be, but it would do.
It irritated the wolf that it
The canine lowered his head onto the Demoness' back, being sure not to lean too heavy on any of her wounds. He hoped that she'd be able to get the chance to heal fully this time.
"Point the fucker out to me if we happen to walk past him."
Her dark eyes cast a warm
"I will."
