She didn't look away to address her pure counterpart at her side, looking forward at the stone before them. I will tell you stories of your mother, young one...Stories that will make you feel alive as I speak of your Dame.. She thought silently before glancing to her sister.
He gives a small smile, "I know."
There is a pause until he decides to speak again, "I am not one to interfere, but if you find yourself in an unbearable situation - no matter the context -, please feel that you can find me in the forest if I'm there; I'll gladly keep you company until you feel safe again."
"Iaurdagnire? Don't you be going all sentimental on me young lady."
He responded lightheartedly of course, "You are not a burden, and you've already thanked me by telling me what is wrong. I want my friends to feel that they can talk to me about such things, and you did just that without holding back."
He withdrew his antlers, shook away any dirt or grass stick to the tines and nuzzled the back of her head, "Virgil and Kaoori are doing fine, I promise. They'll be back to themselves before they know it."

Why don't you just have little bits of info, like the ones you left? You express a lot in your Lacie-diaries, so maybe you could link to that too (:
Or combine the two?
I don't know.

Pushing her chin over the white canvas of her snowflake's spine, the red doe hummed, rubbing back and forth, stirring up the silver and white hairs before smoothing them out again. Time didn't seem to matter much anymore. She had said the phrase too many times...It's been some time? Time has kept us apart. Been a while hasn't it?....How tired she was of using the words. Over and over again, endless it seemed with faces she returned to. Here, time meant nothing, there was always something else in the end, a last spark. A dying light. Something more.
The white doe remained still, watching her red counterpart as she fussed with her fur; her back arched occasionally as more sensitive spots were graced, shudders vibrating gently.
She started to fuss with her groomer's fur as well, gently pulling on tufts that were ready to fall with the coming of Spring. Time had certainly passed; but it didn't matter in moments such as this. She was content to enjoy the times spent with the red doe, and those were the memories she held dear to her heart.
After some time, she spoke, her voice low - but unbridled joy could be heard in tiny spades.
And such startlingly blue eyes.
She glanced upwards, swallowing the sky view with her greys, before her eyes swept back down, holding Jettem's frame in their grasp.
Just like the sky after a storm.
She laughed quietly, as she continued to watch Jettem's fussing.
Pushed her nose to a hidden old scar, blowing lightly over it. Blinking the doe hummed in thoughtful reply. Grey skies were more beautiful than blue ones. The blue ones all looked the same after a while. But grey skies...each was unique, and so very lovely to gaze at or hours on end.
Feeling the dead fur being pulled off her head stopped moving, the small tugging sensations on her body and gentle swaying making her feel content and rather loved at the moment.
"..And, when will it happen?"
Her smile showed, her eyes turning to look at her living snowflake. Behind the mask the deer's face seemed to light up in glee, as if she were a simple fawn again.
Jettem was one of the few that Lacie could truly feel at ease with. It didn't matter the time, didn't matter the circumstance; she could always feel calm around her.
And when they weren't relaxing? Gallivanting through the forest, bodies puffed out in jest was certain fun as well. For Lacie, those were moments she would forever keep tucked in the pocket of her heart, always cherished, always protected.
She giggled quietly from the sensation of her fur being blown on, her head turning to glance at the now faded scar that cascaded along her back. That had been her first true taste of life and death combat, and truthfully, it wasn't something she wished to have happen again - provided that that could be helped. If push came to shove, she would fight again.
At the red doe's question, Lacie locked eyes with her, the mind churning hardly worn gears. She caught the glimmer in the doe's eyes; she was a fawn all over again, joyous and pure.
And in that moment, Lacie felt the same way.
Or how long it will last. To be frank though, perhaps knowing everything would be boring, in a sense. It would be nice to predict drastic events, and perhaps prevent them, but...what's there to life if there's nothing unexpected to make your blood run, make your mind race, and remind you that you're alive?

Lacie wasn't one for
Mi'Lady Jettem, you don't have to use formalities with me. Just "Lacie" is fine.
The formality from her own mouth came out odd, like something that shouldn't quite belong.
A smile forms at her mouth.
Indeed, it has been far too long...how are you?
He gives a small smile, "I

Did I mention how much I love
It's just - She pauses, not
She pauses, not sure if saying it would either offend him or annoy him.
She whispers it, a part of her hoping he doesn't catch it.
I feel like a burden sometimes...
Her breathing becomes more regular however, attempting to get comfortable.
There's a small trickle of tears falling from her eyes. But they're hardly sad; they're tears of happiness of gratitude.
Iaurdagnire...you've been...so kind to me...I don't know I could...thank you...
His full name sounds awkward coming from her mouth, but "Dag" seems a bit too informal for such a time.
I just hope I'm not distracting you from those who need it most...Virgil and Kaoori...I'm worried for them...
Kiraki - Yush, it's cute <3 Lu drew it for me <3

"Virgil and Kaoori are doing fine, I promise. They'll be back to themselves before they know it."
For a moment, she giggles at
Thank you...so much...
His nuzzling begins to relax her, feeling as if a weight has been lifted.
Mmm...I sure hope so...
