Awww noo I missed it! I love being spell-spammed and having Starling wake up to bizarre outfits hahah. I usually always have it running in the background, but I did pause it for a little while earlier whilst I had popups which I knew would otherwise crash the game (TEF can be so finicky lol.) We will have to have another party next time

No major updates today, wanted to have TEF in the background whilst I was cleaning out my rats. Came back to this and it was cute, so I wanted to put it here before logging <3
(The forums were FIGHTING me to send this message the past few days lol. Turns out it really doesn't like some unicode! Everyone just collectively pretend that I sent this yesterday, okay? Okay. )
There was actually a second, secret peacocking that occurred yesterday... :}
This is in your honor, Starling, lol - I knew I couldn't rest until I got GekkeMens at least once
When everyone else had finished spell-spamming and left to go sit again, the last two spells Widmung and I held successfully peacock'd the exhibit's guest account, hahaha. I was scrambling to try and get a screenshot before they inevitably ran into the pond or sneezed it off - but apparently I didn't have to worry, because it seems one of the guests decided to pay us all a visit! Almost 30 minutes later and still fully feathered!
I also think I unknowingly caught you taking that last May 5th screenshot? Sorry, it... ironically made a good screenshot LMAO
Hopefully it's okay for me to hijack your post with so many images like this haha, I felt compelled to share!
And it makes me happy to hear that the fawn was as cute to come back to as I had hoped - I couldn't resist when I saw Starling sleeping all by herself today < 3

I also enjoyed the air dance with Atlas in the Birch Forest after helping two fawns keep their forest magic on.

Starling fell asleep for a while after. Woke up and Atlas helped her get the owl mask back (we were trying to get the magpie mask, but TEF rng refused) and then Starling led Atlas to one of her old favourite spots in the Birch Forest. Starling let birds sit in her antlers and tidy them up a little, until she eventually fell back to sleep again.
(+ bonus glitch GIF... Non-canon: I imagine Starling was peacefully enjoying the birds cleaning up her antlers, and then all of a sudden it got too much and she was like OKAY BIRDS GTFO MY ANTLERS RIGHT NOW -violently yeets them all until they fly away-)
Nice peacock army! saw you all running yesterday and almost got me to join you, but i was kind of busy doing other stuff so I didn't joined, but next time I will for sure! ^^

The little peacock cult adventure we had was a genuine blast LOL, I've never been so focused for several hours on getting something done. 7 peacocks running around while my pc gives 2 fps was not a blast on the other hand.. I guess my pc is not a fan of all the blue
Also the Starling gif made me laugh I didn't know that birds join your antlers sometimes, that's actually awesome!!
Don't worry at all! I often use Meadow for idling while drawing and this was perfect <3 I was so happy to catch you, you were jumping all over the map for me haha! And it was wonderful being silly in TEF a few days prior to this
It's been a while, sort of. I have been spending time playing on my side account Jelly for the past few weeks. For personal reasons, I felt the need to step away from Starling and put her to rest for a while. Today I decided to revisit her, and it felt good! I want to continue playing as Starling in the forest, but this time leaving her appearance rather open and more inspired by TEF. Of course, she can always be interpreted as the russet/crimson doe (especially outside of TEF); but I've been really enjoying playing like I used to in the old days, and just being a deer.
Agreed! I love the nostalgia of it at times. It's really good seeing you around, too. I will never forget Taliene and you/her always being a friendly face on my early TEF fawn days (as Custard/Yori). I remember that I was always able to find her sat in that sun-lit spot beside the stream.

Saater - ....!! This is such a beautiful piece of art. AH! I am absolutely honoured to have a piece from you. Starling looks wonderful and almost jumping without effort. I love the detail, and the poppies in her antlers!! I am especially drawn to how you drew her hooves- there's something really nice about those back ones in particular. I love the angular shapes and the sharpness of the edges. Thankyou so so much for drawing Starling! it means so much to me. Absolutely made my day to log in to this <33
I'm so happy! ^ ^ I should have drawn Starling when Saater was still a child. She was so kind to him! And now I feel pure joy when our deer play together. Thank you for such a wonderful character and for being you.
