WELCOME
Ladies and gentlemen, gather around, for the Spring Rally Sparring Competition is here! Why not get ready for the upcoming Rut by getting a feel for your own strength, as well as the strength of possible future opponents? Or perhaps the Rut isn't really your style? Well no worries, folks, this friendly competition is made for critters of all shapes and sizes! Sign up and step into the ring to test your strength against other participants for some cool prizes and make some new friends along the way~
Competition Days:
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday each week
RULES
• To participate, just show up at the big mushroom ring near the playground and "speak" to one of our competition coordinators to sign up! They'll add you to a list of critters participating that day and randomly select your opponent. (To sign up please leave a comment here, on the Spring Rally Discord in the #competition channel, or message LilKiwi#3394 or --- on Discord with the name of the character you would like to enter and their age group)
• Rounds will begin when a coordinator comes up to your character and taps the ground. You will have 2-3 minutes to respond before your turn is skipped. If you are not ready, please shake your head so we can move ahead to someone else.
- When it is your turn you will move into the ring and face your opponent.
- When both parties are ready, they will bow and then the spar will begin!
- Each spar will last no more than 5 minutes. You may end the match early by leaving the ring, sitting down, or bowing again.
- If time runs out, the match coordinator will enter the ring to separate the competitors and signal the start of voting.
• Judging will be done by the crowd and as such that means we need the crowd to pay attention! No one wants to fight for a crowd that isn't interested, after all. Please make sure to give your fellow players your attention~
• The Voting Area will be indicated by Lily's OOC. They will be sitting on opposite sides of the mushroom circle and when voting is not going on, we ask that critters do not sit in these areas so we can get a clear count when it comes to voting.
• Winners, will be decided by the crowd!
- Once a fight has ended, the two competitors will move to their respective sides of the ring and the crowd will move to one of the two designated sides to vote for their winner, much like judges during the Rut.
- Judging will take place for only a few minutes before a coordinator will take a head count and declare the winner! Those that win will move on to the next round until there is one champion!
