Entered the forest for the first time in a while, and happily made her way to familiar haunts that her father had taken her to when she was young. It isn't long before a mysterious dark figure approaches and settles nearby, and she offers them a timid nod in greeting before letting her mind wander. When she comes to, realizes her company had departed and there was some sort of event happening near the pond. Making her way over, she partakes in the festivities with strangers she has never seen before. Far too enthralled by the sudden strikes of lightning and rings of flowers that appear to be able to introduce herself to anyone. After being soaked by the rain, and watching the sky dance with light, the event ended almost as soon as it had begun. Sopping wet, she heads into a thicket to groom herself dry.

Not long after she tames her wet fur, the mysterious dark creature returns. Though, she notices the scent of blood before she even lays eyes upon them. Might have seemed a bit uncomfortable as they settled close, soaked in blood with literal hoards of butterflies flocking to the open wounds. While still a stranger, Jae decides to help them. Tries not to be creepy about it, but ultimately is creepy about it. Carefully licks at the shoulder closest to her and is met with a bitter-sweet explosion on her tongue. The pair exchanged some words, and then their names. Learns that his name was Astra, he was accepting of her help, and that was good enough for her. Set to work closing up his wounds and gently nosing away the butterflies. As much as she wanted to keep talking, decided it was best to let them rest. Fat off the delicious blood, she dozes off beside him and wakes to him gone. Heads home for the evening.

Woah, talk about an eventful day! Brought into the forest with her dad to give her mother some time to sleep in for once. Quickly settled for a game with dad's tail before he began to lead her away. Brought before a group of strangers, and at first, she didn't see anyone else, but then a child popped out of the pile. Nervous, because her first interactions with other children had not been so good, but upon finding the other kid NOT wanting to bully her, was content to romp around and play. Eventually, they end up in a kitten pile full of sleepy purrs.

Not long after, a stranger approached with another baby in tow. Wary of the stranger's dad, but eager to make friends with the child, she tries to get them to come over. After a while, she finally gets to play with them which swelled her little heart. SO many friends!

Eventually curled up with her newest friend for a nap and then after that, dragged them over to the massive pile of kids and made herself comfortable. Insecurities are starting to fade when it comes to other children, albeit slowly.

THEN MOM SHOWS UP. Rushes out of the pile to launch an attack of nuzzles and kisses, and despite the fact she was laying down, she tries to nurse. Only partly successful before she waddles back over to her friends.

Sometime later, Jae was taken by mom to meet a stranger. Did not understand the relation, if there was one at all, and was scared at first because /woah/ he's a giant! Only gained some courage when watching her mother headbutt the guy, so had to headbutt him too because it was only logical for her tiny kid brain. Beams him with a smile and a giggle after that before rushing over to dad and watching them over his side.

Sleepy after so much interaction, she toddles after mom and dad when they move back to the kid pile, but the kids had all retreated to their families, and Jae was not about to cuddle up with a stranger. Promptly stuffed herself between mom and dad, and eventually between dad and grandma when Mema Sesi showed up with her older half-brother. A happy day for the child that leaves her burnt out and asleep before dad takes her home.

Started the day out right by pestering Vigolfr, but a familiar scent draws her away from the Gladiator and toward the familiar face of Rhea. Definitely doesn't care that she's likely interupting something between the Hyena and some other dog that kinda looks like her but not at the same time. Nestles herself in with Rhea, giving the other person a raspberry over Rhea's back because SHE MINE. Rhea's words aren't comprehended much, but Jae babbles back to have a full fledged conversation with the Hyena before settling in to chew on her ear.

The mom shows up and ruins the fun )8 but at the same time is a walking food truck. Abandons Rhea's ear, leaving it nice and soggy, and rushes over to her mother to nurse greedily. Doesn't care much for what's said between mom and Rhea, but the second mom pushes her away from her teat, the world is ending. Sneezes unhappily and licks her plump belly before watching as mom begins to move off. Panics and runs to nuzzle Rhea before sprinting as fast as her little legs can go with the added weight of her recent meal to catch up to mom. Thankfully they don't go too far, and Jae happily settles down beside her mother. It was a trap.

Is held down and bathed, and despite the fact she didn't seem to mind it, she goes out of her way to make it a chore for her mother. When all is said and done, is a clean baby. Wild hair, don't care. Proceeds to chew on mom until sleep tugs at her little mind.

Brought into the world and cleaned by an exhausted mother. The world is big and scary but feels a strange sense of security and comfort in the presence of both her mother and father. Their looming figures providing warmth and protection to the small fawn. Her curiosity is strong, but her legs are too wobbly for adventures. You better hold onto your hats mom and dad, because she gonna be a zoomie baby.

Snuggled up with family, was visited by Percy. Enamored by the pretty horse and instantly targeted her mane to chew on and play with. Eventually grew tired and crawled back to her parents. Settled down for a much-needed nap.

Woke a short bit later as she was investigated by a stranger(Rhea). She gave some sleepy chirps and flattened herself out for a bit because who r u. Eventually warms up to the Hyena and wobbles over. Still not all that steady on her feet just yet, it takes her a bit but eventually, she settles near the other. She instantly starts licking the Hyena because she's a child and has to put everything in her mouth. Much to her delight, the Hyena lays her head down and kinda circles around her a bit and licks her in return!!! Touch!! Takes it upon herself to go for the now vulnerable ears and gum them to death. Already exhausted, she falls fast asleep with Rhea's ear in her mouth.
