Shikoba
[picto] | [bio]
Herd
• Uy, Éasca (if they even count)
Wins
• name: 0
Losses
• name: 0
Draws
• name: 0
behavior
• He is interested in breeding (although the player is not interested in having fawns, also would rather not RP the NSFW stuff). Ladies only.
• Mixes mating habits of pronghorns and prairie chickens. Lots of dancing, poofing, and strutting.
• Will attempt to lure judges to him, and will only fight if challenged directly.
• Mostly instinct-driven.
• Characters will be treated based on appearance. No antlers (or possibly small antlers) and doesn't look like a predator will be considered female and treated as a judge. Antlers and doesn't look like a predator will be considered male and treated as a challenger/competitor. Looks like a predator will be treated as a predator--Shikoba will either flee or attempt to chase them off. Looks like none of those will probably be ignored. (Let me know if you prefer to have your character treated according to their role instead).
fighting
examples:
•prairie chicken display
•pronghorns fighting
•pronghorn herding
•prairie chickens fighting
• Mostly uses his horns to try to push back an opponent, but will sometimes rear and attack with his front hooves. May switch tactics depending on the opponent, but he prefers locking horns/antlers.
Advantages: speed (can run up to 55 mph), youth/fitness, agility, stamina, average size and strength
Disadvantages: overconfidence, lack of experience, size and strength can be a disadvantage against larger or stronger opponents
| Wisp

Herd
• Elijah, Elgin, Vidal, Irene
• Culzean, Sub Rosa, Nathaniel (+ random fawn)
Interests
• Culzean
After watching from afar for years, Wisp has decided to try participating as a judge. They're too afraid to try fighting anyone, but are interested in seeing who is stronger and can protect them. Wisp cannot reproduce, and would not be interested in that even if they could.
behavior
Curious, but skittish. Likely to approach others to investigate, only to run off when noticed, but will return if no signs of aggression are shown. Prefers challengers that are less aggressive but strong enough to protect them. When in a herd, will probably keep some distance between themselves and others.
| Aileana

Losses
• name: 0
Draws
• name: 0
behavior
• Just here for fun, sees it all as a big game.
• doesn't care about herds, just wants to spar, even if there's no herd at stake
• Not interested in breeding (and can't, anyway)
• Can be treated like a judge, just know she won't actually be judging, and may not take kindly to "dominant" behavior (or more likely to see it as a challenge).
fighting
Advantages: speed, agility, cunning, stamina, balance
Disadvantages: size (can be used to advantage), strength, tendency towards stubbornness and recklessness, unable to use her powers during the rut
Tactics/Style
• Fights like a goat. Headbutting is her main attack method. Combined with rearing against larger opponents. But she uses her hooves more than a goat does.
• Fakes running away, then charges back.
• Attempts to get her opponent to lower their guard by: feigning fear, feigning injury (limping, slowing down, "sad" emote), feigning defeat (lying down during a spar), letting her opponent underestimate her due to her size.
• Tries to attack from behind when possible.
• Note: Aileana is much stronger than she looks. Despite her size, her strength is similar to a buck of average size (ordinarily has supernatural strength, but dampened down for the event). However, she still relies on speed and trickery as her greatest assets.

I just copy/pasted this from
EDIT: BTW having judges run away from or even attack Shikoba was funny at first, but it got tiring after a while, and from now on I'd rather have him treated like any other challenger. Unless your character has a good reason to treat him differently, but at this point there shouldn't be any unless they really just don't like birds or something.
Anyway, none of my characters are meant to be joke characters, please don't treat them that way, thanks.
