Grei wtf r u doin. I thought we were okay now? Oh we are ok cause i'm confused.
Azazel is back and we had a conversation where he put words in my head and made me feel horrible. But i made new friends and I saw Baal so it's all okay.

Previously:

So many new faces! A few scents she recognized but wasn't sure if they'd remember/know her. Feeling overwhelmed and shy, lately. Sat on Dandelion Hill, quietly musing when she was approached by a young doe (Morrow). Greeting her, asked her if she'd like to sit, and the two sat together. Grateful the other approached and keen on meeting a new face.

Walter- her biggest fear and her greatest nightmare. Brutally attacked her and murdered Hoshiko.

Osias- used to be unafraid of him, defiant of, even. Stole Wesker's soul from him, was attacked and 'marked' in return. Now shares a link with him, is secretly terrified of him.

Darkweaver - Still does not trust, however holds disinterest for the old enemy.

Vasla, the Wolf - Afraid of; a cunning predator.

Akuji - Mindgame player. Uses loved ones. Gone?

Azazel - Has an unhealthy obsession with her. Gone?

On Kaoori's Defense
Since Kaoori is so small, she is not much of an effective fighter. Fighting to defend herself or others in the past has only gotten herself in trouble and a lot of wounds and scars she did not need; and she only earned the worries of others. Over time Kaoori has realized she cannot fight like larger deer, and she has learned to flee or stay out of the way whenever possible during an attack or fight.
Being small, she is swift, and will sometimes try to throw a spell at her attacker to throw them off or distract them to help her comrade's aid.

Kaoori's Haunts
Kaoori's frequent haunt and where she considers home is Dandelion Hill, so she may overlook the ruins. Much of her life's history and family's history is tied there; and she feels great comfort being near it. She considers the ruins and the rolling hills around it her home. A small grave marker at the ruins marks the spot where her daughter Hoshiko is buried; Kaoori can often be found laying by it, talking to her.
She often finds peace in other places; usually with friends and family. She holds no claim to territory, just ties to familiar places.

She walked up slowly, carefully, to the familiar purple doe. Having heard of the recent shenanigans, Dinamo had made a beeline for her dear friend. The sight of the sweet, motherly doe crumpled up injured like that made her wince.

Cautiously, she stepped closer to Kaoori, hoping not to wake her if she was asleep or startle her if she was awake. "Kaoori?", her voice was soft and tender, edged with concern and worry.

Kaoori had begun to feel better in the recent days. Though she had mainly been resting, she could stay up longer and was much more alert. At the sound of the quiet familiar voice, her head turned, and she saw Dinamo. She smiled a bit.

"Dinamo.. how are you?"

Her face was ridden with worry lines. "Much better than you, I can say." She paused, her voice shaky. She had never seen Kaoori this hurt before, ever. Even if she was healing. Feeling she owed Kao an honest answer, she moved closer. "I've been up and down..okay. Not much to report." Feeling her recent depression was out of the question to be discussed, she focused on Kaoori.

Eyeing the doe carefully, she sat down, close enough to be friendly but with enough space so she wouldn't accidentally hurt her. "How are you doing?", having started to ask if she was okay, she stopped herself. It was obvious the purple doe wasn't. She inhaled quietly, trying not to overreact - she had a habit of doing that. "What happened?" Her silky voice was laced with concern.

Another pause. "Whose butts do I need to kick?"

Kaoori could hear the hint that Dinamo wasn't okay, but she wouldn't press. She'd wait until it was time.

She sighed, chuckling a bit. "I.. got into a bit of trouble. Someone had their revenge for me stealing from them.." Her ears folded back. "it's over now.. Wesker took care of him." Her eyes looked to the ruins, then back to where they were.
"I think things will finally be a bit quiet."

"Now you.. how are you?"

Dina's full focus was on Kao

Dina's full focus was on Kao when she explained what happened, a mixture of surprise and a puzzled feeling. Kaoori, stealing something? She couldn't see it. But she wouldn't press further into the buisness that wasn't hers, even though she was dreadfully curious.

A small smile quickly came and went when Kaoori mentioned her mates name. Dinamo had never met the large bull, but she always had appreciated him, in a thankful way. Trying to follow Kaoori's gaze, she lost where the doe was looking and sighed, focusing back on her friend. She smiled when she was told things would be calmer. The next question caught her off guard; she was so focused on Kao and her well being that she hadn't expected to be asked about herself.

"I've been..okay.", an exasperated sigh. "Kind of lonely, to be honest." It sounded so low to admit to it, but it was the truth. Looking around briefly, she saw a familiar deer and smiled, soon returning her focus to the question at hand. "Anjali's been missing..for quite a while. My kids have been m-i-a as well..I see them occasionally but not close to as much as I'd like." She pauses, to look briefly in the direction of Kaoori's face, before looking away again. Nothing personal, she just didn't want to make eye contact when explaining something so tender.

"I've been so worried. I feel so helpless, and sad. My friends have been great though..they're getting me through it." Another small smile tries to fill her features, but it fades. "I just don't know what to do."

Kaoori couldn't imagine not seeing her mate or children at all. It would break her heart. Her own heart went out to the other small doe. Having no words, she touched her nose to the other's shoulder, a gesture of affection.

'Keep up hope. Never give up hope. It's one of the best things you can do.'

A familiar sting edged her

A familiar sting edged her eyes but she blinked it away, knowing this wasn't the time to break down again and cry. She leaned into Kaoori when she was touched, gently, so she wouldn't hurt the injured doe. Her ears bowed forward as she listened to the wise advice.

"Trust me, I never will." a gentle sigh, and she looks around. "Thank you.." Worry still prominent in her mind for her purple friend, she turns back to Kao."Do you need anything? Food, water? I'm not good at healing but if you need medicine or herbs tell me what they look like and I can get them for you." She starts to rise.

Kaoori smiled softly, grateful for her friend's concern. "I'm alright, Dinamo.. I'm much better than I was. What I would like is if you stayed and gave me your company. I think it would be good for both of us." She beckoned back to where the doe laid just a moment ago, tilting her head.

She is torn, the part of her

She is torn, the part of her soul that feels she owes it to Kaoori, for whatever reason, to do everything necessary to make the doe feel better. But she fights the loving urge as the purple hind becons her back to sit down again.

Doing as is suggested Dina moves back to where she laid before, the grasses still folded down and crumpled, and sits. She sighs, stretching her legs forward and reclining down, intending to stay a while. Remaining silent for a moment, Dina isn't sure if to ask about Kaoori's family or just to enjoy the silence. She decides to ask about Wesker, at the least. "How is Wesker doing?"

The shika tucked her legs underneath her as she shifted her body to face Dinamo more. "He's.. alright. It's been a rough few weeks for us both. If it wasn't for him, I'm not sure what would have happened. I'm grateful for him, as I always am. He's healing well, too. "

Kaoori's heart goes out to Dina, wishing she could see her children again more often, her mate.

Kaoori is a dear old friend

Kaoori is a dear old friend of Dag's, one of the few remaining from his younger years. Proud of her and her charming family, and truly loves her caring and sensitive nature. Fond of her humour most of all; always enjoyed their silly times together playing practical jokes.
