Azazel is back and we had a conversation where he put words in my head and made me feel horrible. But i made new friends and I saw Baal so it's all okay.

Previously:

So many new faces! A few scents she recognized but wasn't sure if they'd remember/know her. Feeling overwhelmed and shy, lately. Sat on Dandelion Hill, quietly musing when she was approached by a young doe (Morrow). Greeting her, asked her if she'd like to sit, and the two sat together. Grateful the other approached and keen on meeting a new face.

Walter- her biggest fear and her greatest nightmare. Brutally attacked her and murdered Hoshiko.

Darkweaver - Still does not trust, however holds disinterest for the old enemy.

On Kaoori's Defense
Since Kaoori is so small, she is not much of an effective fighter. Fighting to defend herself or others in the past has only gotten herself in trouble and a lot of wounds and scars she did not need; and she only earned the worries of others. Over time Kaoori has realized she cannot fight like larger deer, and she has learned to flee or stay out of the way whenever possible during an attack or fight.
Being small, she is swift, and will sometimes try to throw a spell at her attacker to throw them off or distract them to help her comrade's aid.

Kaoori's Haunts
Kaoori's frequent haunt and where she considers home is Dandelion Hill, so she may overlook the ruins. Much of her life's history and family's history is tied there; and she feels great comfort being near it. She considers the ruins and the rolling hills around it her home. A small grave marker at the ruins marks the spot where her daughter Hoshiko is buried; Kaoori can often be found laying by it, talking to her.
She often finds peace in other places; usually with friends and family. She holds no claim to territory, just ties to familiar places.

A tiny fawn moved along

A tiny fawn moved along happily weaving in and out of trees. Something had caught the child's eye though, something pretty. The white fawn moved over to get a better look at what she had seen. A blue doe, that was what she had seen. Neah gave a little tilt of her head the bell jingling around her neck. She took a little step forward the dark purple ribbon around her leg catching a small beam of light. Her little rump quills rattled and she sniffed the air before giving a cheerful call "Ello?"

Neah looked around as the doe stated her question and realized that perhaps she was. She gave a little giggle and a sheepish smile "Hehe, I guesses I am just a little bit." she chirped. She wasn't normally one to get lost unless it was the birch, the hay was so much taller than her little frame.

A smile and a sniff of the doe as she got closer. She smelled nice too. Neah thought for a moment and turned around to look at where she had come from. "Hmm..." She tilted her head again giving the bell another jingle. "I came from the pond. I was watching the pretty fish swim around the flower." She felt the need to explain a little before giving another smile. She felt comfortable with the doe, she was a bit smaller than all the other deer. That made her closer to Neah's height and she liked that.

Neah trotted on along beside the doe sometimes lagging behind from time to time. "Kaoori is a very pretty name, its nice to meet you as well." The fawn chirped with a smile. She trotted off a few times to follow a stray butterfly but she quickly came back to Kaoori, glancing over her shoulder to where the butterfly went.

Uncertainty triggers fear,

Uncertainty triggers fear, and fear in turn brings a quiet contentment to rest in the heart of the nomad. Fear was like an old friend to her, without it she may not be where she is now. She may have died. Caution is natural to the silvered doe, Mitsuki's wariness is far from paranoia.
She treads on silent hooves through the forest, marveling at it's beauty in the crisp air and soft light of dawn. But she doesn't let her attention wander as she walks. Rather, she does the opposite, clearing her mind in an almost meditative fashion.
A twig snapped under her hoof. She froze, tense and alert.

Kaoori's ears snapped to attention, hearing the noise of the twig. Gathering to her feet, she looked in the direction of the noise- only to find a doe looking lost. She tilted her head, watching the other for a moment, before returning the call.

She ducked her head sheepishly, embarrassed that she had not been aware of the shika's presence before now. Suki deemed her as no immediate threat, analyzing the result of her split-second observations. She could always run if the situation called for a quick escape, and this thought comforted the doe.
"Hello," she said again, this time it wasn't a question.
"My name is Mitsuki." Dark-furred ears perked towards the other, she decided to offer her name first, as a sign of trust and partly to make up for her initial caution. She didn't mean to be rude.

"Kaoori..." she murmured. Such a beautiful name. She gratefully accepted her invitation, sitting beside the doe. She missed having company, her wandering in combination with her introverted tendencies did not help her to reach out to other deer.
"I'm not lost, I just don't stay in one place very long."
Eventually Suki would settle down, she hoped so, anyway. At the moment she had no reason to stay, no ties to any particular place, family, friends, or otherwise.

Mitsuki had never been very outgoing, but she was touched by Kaoori's kindness towards her. She'd only met two deer, excluding Kaoori, since she entered the forest. First was Ursula, a doe she didn't care too much for to this day. There was nothing Suki hated more than arrogance, and Ursula seemed quite the bold type. The second was Verve, who she had immediately taken a liking to. The rest of her time was spent alone.
"Kaoori, do you know a doe named Verve?" her voice was thoughtful. She might as well ask, no harm could be done in doing so.
