Azazel is back and we had a conversation where he put words in my head and made me feel horrible. But i made new friends and I saw Baal so it's all okay.

Previously:

So many new faces! A few scents she recognized but wasn't sure if they'd remember/know her. Feeling overwhelmed and shy, lately. Sat on Dandelion Hill, quietly musing when she was approached by a young doe (Morrow). Greeting her, asked her if she'd like to sit, and the two sat together. Grateful the other approached and keen on meeting a new face.

Walter- her biggest fear and her greatest nightmare. Brutally attacked her and murdered Hoshiko.

Darkweaver - Still does not trust, however holds disinterest for the old enemy.

On Kaoori's Defense
Since Kaoori is so small, she is not much of an effective fighter. Fighting to defend herself or others in the past has only gotten herself in trouble and a lot of wounds and scars she did not need; and she only earned the worries of others. Over time Kaoori has realized she cannot fight like larger deer, and she has learned to flee or stay out of the way whenever possible during an attack or fight.
Being small, she is swift, and will sometimes try to throw a spell at her attacker to throw them off or distract them to help her comrade's aid.

Kaoori's Haunts
Kaoori's frequent haunt and where she considers home is Dandelion Hill, so she may overlook the ruins. Much of her life's history and family's history is tied there; and she feels great comfort being near it. She considers the ruins and the rolling hills around it her home. A small grave marker at the ruins marks the spot where her daughter Hoshiko is buried; Kaoori can often be found laying by it, talking to her.
She often finds peace in other places; usually with friends and family. She holds no claim to territory, just ties to familiar places.

The fawn nodded hastily and shifted her weight, so that her left back leg was out from underneath her. It had fallen asleep. Ignoring the tingling feeling in her leg she watched Kaoori and nodded again. "Yes. You are Kaoori. I have heard of you many times. "

She let an ear swivel sideways to listen to the grasses sway in the harsh, bitterly cold wind. She shivered once more, grimacing at the weather. "Thank you, by the way."

Trying to think of what else to say, she inquired: "I am a sun goddess. Its really confusing to explain, but I am." She tried to make it come out like she was trying to start a conversation, but it came out rather snobbish sounding.

Kaoori could only hope what she had heard of were good things. She tilted her head. "You are welcome.. although you don't need to thank me, Fleur." She smiled down at the little fawn.
When Fleur stated what she was, Kaoori seemed a bit surprised- but intrigued. "I have much time, sitting here.. I don't plan on moving much, and it is cold. You can tell me all about it while we keep each other warm, mm? "

Annnd, sorry for my response being so long, I feel in the RPing mood--If it is appropriate to say sorry.

Not expecting the eagerness of the doe--Of all the deer, Kaoori wanted to hear about her own story--she eagerly shook her head in a nod and huddled closer to her. "Well. Like I said, it is a bit confusing, but Ill try my best to explain. Hmn. Well. Where to start.."

She mumbled to herself, trying to clear her head and get her own story straight--This was the first time someone had asked about her history in a long time. Taking a short exasperated, but not too exasperated-in thought of Kaoori's state, sigh she gathered her thoughts then continued.

"I was born in France on an extremely sunny winter day. If its possible to understand, the sun spoke to me with an important message. One day, the sun would die, and I would have to take its place. I would stay on earth and glow as bright as the sun, but not be blinding to the people who looked at me."

Taking another breath, she looked to Kaoori casually to see if she was following. "Now, I will live forever, hypothetically speaking. I can die, it is just temporary, and I will age regularly. I will die of old age if I don't get killed first, then be reborn at an age of 17."

Finishing talking softly, she really didn't know how to continue on that, because that is all the sun had told her the day she was born. "And, that's really all the sun has told me. Other than that, the day the sun actually dies, I will begin to glow as the sun did--Immortal from that day on. But, enough of me. If you don't mind, what is your history like?"

The little fawn was surprisingly mature for her age, her brain seemingly overdeveloped. She was just a doe in a fawns body. But, she still was very young at heart and acted how a normal fawn would do.

Kaoori listened to the fawn's story, ears perked in her direction. She was amazed at how old she sounded for a little fawn. She realized she'd been through a lot, and she offered her a little nuzzle after she finished, not knowing what to say.
"My past? Well, it's really not as complicated as yours. I was born a normal deer outside this forest.. normal enough until my fur started to turn blue. My father thought of me as a demon, and wanted to kill me, drive me from the herd, so my mother convinced him to abandon me someplace otherwise. They brought me here, to this forest, where I've grown and made my own family ever since. Sometimes I do wonder what the outside is like, but I have no reason to go back. I would not be accepted."

As she finished speaking, she surprisingly felt a bit winded and sleepy, so she slowly met Kaoori's nuzzle with her own affectionate nuzzle.

She forced herself to listen to Kaoori's story and nodded thoughtfully. "Mnn. Well, its not completely normal, but its definitely unique. I am terribly sorry about your family, though. At least you have us all here, right? And, maybe your family has changed.."

She had always believed in change, and always learned how to forgive. She truly was a good soul. She hated the feeling of not knowing what to say to spark a conversation around Kaoori, how the fawn adored her so.

"So, Kaoori. How do you like the forest? I-I mean, I'm so new to it. It is so big, and the lightening and Great Oak scare me so much. I see all of the other deer laying around it, but I cant go near it."

She shivered visibly, partly of the thought of the Great Oak and its large towering trunk, and loud humming noise. She also shivered out of cold and a bit of exasperation, she was just tired so suddenly.

"I mean. I just don't know. Sometimes, I think I'm not normal. Well, I'm not normal, because I'm a sun goddess, but. I just have this feeling." She looked to Kaoori seeking comfort in the, mother like figure, blue doe.

Phoebus nodded thoughtfully at her last comment, it made her think. She pondered quietly as Kaoori looked about around her. "That is exactly and completely true."

Casting her glazed eyed gaze towards the other deer around her, she yawned silently and leaned onto Kaoori. "I just got really tired all of the sudden."

The fawn nodded silently, but still objected. "Are you sure? I mean, I don't want to be rude." She didn't want to blow off Kaoori completely as she slept. She also didn't mean to bother with asking Kaoori if it was really fine even though she already said it was.

With a yawn she again looked out to the other deer around them and smiled silently, captivated by deer watching. She was sleepy, but could stay awake if it was necessary.
