3.4.18
Was able to meet Angelina shortly after she was born and subsequently died. Doesn't really know how to feel about it, finds Aureus and Eloa's tremendous grief confusing and doesn't understand why they're upset. Tried to make Eloa feel better by giving her some flowers and trying to act like he loved his little sister but mostly just... confused.

1.09.16
Helmut is back??!!??!?! Omg??? Uncle Moot!!! Eloa why didn't you tell me Helmut was back???? Going to tackle the demon next time he sees him.
12.30.16
All better now- fully healed with a thick, bony scar where his injury was. Hanging out around the den and being a bit more careful about where he plays now, keeping wary of ice and other possible things that could trip him up.
11.10.16
Was playing with Eloa outside of the den when he slipped and fell, cracking his skull starting from above the orbital and ending in the middle of the lower jaw. In great pain and has a possible concussion. Receiving aid from Eloa, Aureus, and a stranger.
7.24.16
Awakened to the sound of rain and to the feeling of water dripping into Eloa's den. Curiosity led him up and out of the den and to a run through the forest. Kicked his heels and played in the rain for a short few minutes before he realized he had run pretty far from the den, unsure of where he is and has bunkered down in the Old Oak to try and dry off and warm up.
-
Found by Helmut not too longer after and was shepherded back to Eloa's burrow. Was shown the demon's glowing tunnels and was given a crystal necklace. Now snuggled up with Helmut and a blanket back at the den.

*Previous life:
-Born into a royal clan in Eastern Europe, a vampire dragon of high status named Hane.
-Would today be given the diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder
-Incredibly intelligent, an inventor and artist
-Passed over as heir to the throne, no chance of ascension due to his multiple siblings
-Over the course of many years, murdered his siblings and relatives one by one to increase his chances of obtaining political power until most of his opponents were dead or had moved away
-Abused his brother's wife to try and drive them both away, fond of this particular brother(Tarkius) and didn't really want him killed
-Tarkius found out it was Hane who'd attacked his wife, inciting a feud
-Began to set up a plan to overthrow the current rulers, succeeded in that and drove away his brother into exile
-Had children with the royal healer(Ariana). Protective of her and by extension his heirs(Royal and Kayla), but uncertain about love
-Tarkius and his wife return with a vengeance and overthrow him, killing him in the process but sparing his mate and offspring
-Soul wanders aimlessly for years before he is resurrected by his now-grown children
-With their help, again tries to overthrow his brother, but fails, costing him his life as well as the life of his former mate and one of their children, Kayla
-Soul is wrenched from his corpse, finds a new home in the body of a newborn child
-The newborn child is found and adopted by Hane's still-living son, Royal, who is in a relationship with the grown son(Aureus) of Hane's brother, Tarkius
-Held no memory of past wrongs, raised by Royal and Aureus
-Had a pleasant upbringing until Tarkius discovered the true origins of the child's soul
-Although still unaware of his past incarnations and by all definitions an innocent child, was murdered by Tarkius
-After his murder, Tarkius exiled Aureus and executed Royal; bringing Aureus to the Forest
*Current life:
-Reincarnated into the body of a small fawn and soon found by Primrose Eloa who soon adopted him
-Discovered by Aureus who vowed to amend past wrongs, gained a protector and guardian
-Still has no memories of any of his past incarnations, though glimpses of the past haunt his dreams
-Gifted a dreamcatcher made by a powerful dragon named Faren, now has no dreams and no threat of remembering his past lives.

Of course, of heck'in course it was raining. It made sense, he was a demon after all. This place had consistinaly....like hell...since he'd first arrived...as ironic as that sounds. The little demon snorted slightly and shook his head. The water puddles were almost up to his knees in some places, his fur stained a darker shade of pink. A few more moments and Helmut would be completely drenched, all the way to the bone. In Rain Man's name! Of course the one day he decides to crawl out of the tunnels the Twins made it rain. He coughs and scoots his way around the God Stones, making his dainty way towards one of the only above ground rain shelters, the Humming Tree. Hopefully it wouldn't be packed or he'd get stepped on.
It's what's in the tree that makes him stop though. There's this odd looking tiny thing, a fawn, a super cute one too. The little one reminds Helmut of the baby wendigo he'd found a long time ago, it makes him smile slightly. But there's something else though...it looks....familiar. Very familiar. His brow wrinkles as he finally places the kid. Tiny hoof steps take the little demon closer. "Hey...your...one of Eloa's foundlings aren't you?" He asks gently, noting the kid's actually the same size of himself! Awesome! "Seen ya awhile back right? Before some stuff happened."
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
It was terribly cold inside the damp tree, and the furless fawn was curled tightly upon himself to hold what little heat he had. The rain had seemed to pour for hours and Dragomir had not a clue how to return to Eloa's den. The situation was less than ideal, to say the least, but at least he was fully out of the rain when inside the big tree; though the comfort that thought offered was quite small. Every animal that entered the tree was unfamiliar and a wariness of strangers forbade the fawn from seeking warmth by huddling with the others. It wasn't until a few hours after his entrance into the tree that Dragomir met an ally.
The little creature raised his head at the sound of a voice, his eyes meeting those of the weird pink demon that was often in Eloa's company. He didn't recall its name but the sight of Helmut was enough to give Dragomir cause for excitement. Finally! Someone he knew had arrived. The shivering fawn stood to greet the other, stepping forward and running his skull against Helmut's head in the same manner of how Eloa greeted him and Rhistel when she reentered the den. Stepping back now, Dragomir gave an ecstatic chirp, trying to find words to speak. After a moment, he managed to stutter out a little "H-h-hi!"
The kid's shivering and Helmut idly wonders how a furless creature ended up here. With all the sun this place probably gave some real bad sun burn. And the rain? Forget about it. Soggy wasn't fun either. Green eyes meet bright blue ones for a moment as they stare at each other. The undead-looking fawn is scrambling up pretty quickly though, hell, if the kid runs he ain't fucking chasing them. But they react favorably, coming closer and bonking him on the head with it's skull. The little demon steps backwards, shaking his head even though that didn't even hurt. After a moment's hesitation he slowly nudged the kid with his nose. No way's he's gonna nuzzle the thing! Ugh!
Huh, well hi yourself." He chuckles at the kid's enthusiasim. It disgusts him just how cute this damn kid is, those chirps! Rainin' pretty good, ain't it? I hate rain like seriously? It's f'n bad enough when it's sunny!" He announces annoyedly before settling down and turning into a Moot-loaf. "Ya pretty damn far away from the burrow kid. You get lost?"
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
When the other creature nudged the fawn, he couldn't help but squeal in delight. The words spoken by the pink demon made little sense to Dragomir, but just enough to where he understood the meaning. To the demon's question, the fawn responded with a vigorous nod. The child's eyes wandered from Helmut's face down to the demon's body. When Helmut had lain down, his legs disappeared! Stepping forward, Dragomir prodded his nose against the demon's side, searching for the lost legs. "W-w... where feet g-go?" He asked, stepping back. Object permanence wasn't the little one's strong suit.
"Ah," He nods knowingly, "Forest's kinda hard to navigate in the rain." The little demon fluffs up at the nudge, tiny shoulder ruff standing up. Heck it all, this kid's a touchy bugger. Helmut grumbles incredioulsly at the fawn's question and shifts enough so he can stick a slender leg out. "They're right there kid, never went no where." Seriously? Kid must be a bit younger than he'd thought.
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
When Helmut made the leg reappear, Dragomir took a step back. "Whooaaa." The pink demon was clearly in possession of some magickal powers here, maybe Drago had some powers as well. The little fawn lay down across from Helmut, trying to tightly tug his legs beneath his body and make them disappear. However, the fawn was much more leg than body and his knobby wrists stuck out from under his chest. The knees of his hind legs protruded from his lower half and all in all the sight of the fawn was hilariously sad.
Seeming to understand that the 'leg magick' was not in his possession, the fawn settled down in a more natural way, not trying to squish his legs up under himself but instead resting comfortably. A moment passed, then the child looked out the entrance of the old oak. The rain still poured and thus the air was still cold and damp. Turning his head back to Helmut, the fawn rattled a small trill, trying to form a word but slipping into the much easier sound of a call. Finally, he managed, "Hhh...Home?"
"Whoa indeed! I posses a particular array of baffling magical powers." The little demon counters, eyebrows raised in amusement. The amusment only increases as he watches the small soul attempt to turn themselves into a loaf too, something the gangly kid failed at. Those leggies where way too long to be neatly tucked away, unlike his own wonderfully proportioned limbs. Helmut smirks proudly as the kiddo goes back to sitting normally. Maybe it was a bit...childish to be so proud that he'd bested a child at something as simple as sitting but, hell, achievements were in fucking short supply these days. The skin-fawn's query sparks a mumbled curse and a lifted lip. "Aw hell kid, it's still raining out there. Pouring." He scrunches up his snout and rests his chin on the damp floor. His traditional scowling expression once more firmly in place. The silence last maybe a split second, "Would'a mind going home via tunnel Skull-kid? I ain't 'bout to get all damn soaked again, not even for somthing as cute as you."
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
The fawn shrunk slightly as Helmut remarked on the state of the rain. That was right, the sky was crying right now- too cold for them go out of the tree. When the demon mentioned the word tunnel, Dragomir cocked his head. Eloa had talked of tunnels, but he didn't know what the word meant. The thing that captured the little one's attention, though, was the word cute. Eloa would call him and Rhistel cute and then play with them or give them treats. Hearing this, Dragomir stood, chirping and shaking happily for whatever treat was to come.
Helmut blinks each eye seperately at the now excited youth. What did he say???? Was it the tunnels or???? "Is....that....a yes?" He asks slowly, making sure that the kid would hear him clearly. It never crossed his mind that the word 'cute' is what excited the fawn. Helmut hated being called cute with every fiber of his being, only Eloa could call him that without getting attacked by bugs. The little demon continues to blink up at the chirping thing with a confused expression before standing up and giving a hesitant hop. This is what you were supposed to do with kids right? Hop? Scream?
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Dragomir nodded excitedly and gingerly stamped his hooves. "Yes!" He all but shouted. "Yes yes yes yes yes! Yes yes yes!" When the little demon stood and skipped, the fawn imitated the movement. He hopped into the air, kicking out his hind legs. "Yes! Yes now." In his ecstasy, Dragomir began to spin in a circle, his legs tangling a bit more which each rotation until the naked child flopped into a heap on the soaked ground. This didn't matter to the baby, no, no one bit, because not ten seconds after he had fallen, he picked himself back up again. "Yes!"
Oh no. OH NO. The demon watches with horror as the kid proceeds to completely wig out. Screeching, hopping, kicking, the whole damn shebang. When the furless starts spinning in a circle Helmut is seriously worried that the kid might have rabies or something. He takes a few slow steps back, ears worriedly pressed against his head. The other wasn't foaming at the mouth or anything....maybe this kid was just excited??? He hoped so. The child goes tumbling but's up and ready to hop again in an instant, once more shouting yes.
"Okay....uh...wait a minute then." Helmut tells the kid slowly, bending down to tap the earth with his nose. There's a slight shake and a momentary instant of darkness as the bugs start coming. Maggots and other creepy-crawly things burrow their way up out of the soil, leaving a tunnel that'll comfortably fit both of them. With any luck it goes straight back to the burrow tree, with no luck, anywhere else in the forest. Helmut hoped for the first option.
(I replied in the thread there but you're too sweet ahmg <3 also Helmut is so precious)
Dragomir watched Helmut as he spoke, enthralled with everything the small demon did. As Helmut opened the tunnel and insects revealed their carapaces, the skin fawn jumped to hide behind the demon in surprise. The bugs that cleared the way had swarmed in such a way to terrify the little one, but terror quickly melted into curiosity. He leaned his head down to lightly prod a shiny black beetle with orange splatters on both sides of its shells, shuddering when the beetle crawled up onto his bony nose and explored around his face.
With his passenger secured over his right eye socket, Dragomir looked to Helmut and then to the hole in the ground. "Down?"
(Aw <3 glad you liked it. Mir's a cutie too, even Moot had to admit it XD )
Helmut snorts at the beetle crawling around the kiddo's head...skull? Both? He nods slightly. Both. With a snort the demon nudges the little wanderer gently, smirking as the battle clambered onto his nose. The bug insists on fastening itself directly on his nose, refusing to move an inch. It tickled but he was fine with it. "Yep. Down for a little ways then straight with a few turns. Should take ya back home just fine." The little stag raises an eyebrow to emphasis the next point. "All without getting wet. How cool is that?" He gestures with a hoof at the tunnel entrance. "Ya ready to go skull-kid."
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Dragomir watched in awe as the beetle crawled onto the demon's face a planted itself squarely on his nose. He giggled at the sight and then grew quiet again as Helmut began to speak. The fawn heard the words 'home', 'cool', and 'kid' with ease, while the other words were familiar but without definition. Either way, his excitement went unchecked, and with a little leap in the air Dragomir shouted "Yes!" and wiggled his way down into the hole. Adventure is out there!
Helmut watched the kid dissapear down the tunnel like a regular rabbit and shook his head in bemusement. Seriously? No hesitation whatsoever. Eloa must really have her hands full, he knows how engergetic Rhissy can be too. The beetle taps at his tiny nose with its feelers and tucks its minuscule claws around the rim of his nostrils. Looks like the insect isn't about to go anywhere soon. The demon shrugs and barrels into the tunnel calling out a 'look out here I come!' for the kid's benifit. He had no idea how good the skull-faced's night vision was, that's why he'd intended to go first but....well you know. Fortunatly it's not completely dark. There are glowing fungi on the walls in some places, tiny crystals that seemed to light as they passed by. All signs point to a much older tunnel that the new-bug dug tunnel simply connected to. Helmut had been in the forest nearly three years now, plenty of time to make many different routes. He calls out the turns they have to take when the tunnel splits into two, sheparding the child onto the correct paths.
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Fortunately for Helmut, Dragomir's night vision was adequate enough to navigate the tunnel without great issue. Unfortunately for Helmut, the tunnel was just too cool for the naked baby to handle. Many many stops took place where the little one would gawk in astonishment at the illuminating crystals or glowing fungi. At one point, he opened his mouth and took a bite of the bioluminescent mushrooms before hastily spitting them out and gagging at the horrid taste. Shaking his head vigorously, the fawn continued forward. He followed the directions to turn fairly well, though sometimes confusing left and right and needing to be pulled back on the proper path.
At the current moment in time, Dragomir had stopped to lick a shining crystal, thinking that perhaps the glow was caused by something that had gotten on the crystal, and that if he licked it, he would glow as well.
The kid's doing well, his various stops and gawking serve to make Helmut smile. The demon loved showing others his home. Or the closest thing he could get to his homeland in this place. "That's going to be icky." He cautions the youth, noticing the kid's about to eat the fungi. The advice comes a little too late and the demon chuckles as the kid spits them out. Everyone'd done that at least a few times. The navigating is a bit sketchy but they manage somewhat alright.
Helmut stops moving and watches the child lick one of the glowing crystals. "Beautiful isn't it?" He asks softly, an actual smile on his face. "We had crystals like this back home. Well, kinda like these." He shakes his head and glances up at the celing. "I miss it." The trap-jaw very carefully broke of one of the shards and calls a few spiders that make a necklace out of it. "Here, now you'll get to keep a bit." He says while dropping the pendant over the kid's head.
"Well. Let's go then kid. Burning daylight here." The fawn gets a shove and he starts walking again, making sure he's being followed. They're a lot closer to the end of the tunnel now, a vauge light is filtering through and the tunnel has begun to slope up.
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Dragomir watched as the little spiders came together in a small swarm and then disappeared having left a pendant in their wake. A small squeak of happiness fled his throat when Helmut gifted him the necklace, was this his to keep? He craned his head down to peer at the crystal shard, blinking as the mineral gently pulsed with faint light. He opened his mouth, trying to remember the words Eloa had told him to say when someone gave him something.
Looking up at Helmut, the fawn chirped a couple times before pushing out the words "T-thank you!" He rocked from side to side to watch the crystal swing on its web string, giggling a bit at its pendelum motion before Helmut gave the shove to get moving.
The child continued to observe the halls of soil and light as they continued forward, often looking down to make sure the necklace was still there, as if it would disappear if he did not keep his eyes on it.
Helmut nods in response to the thanks. "'Welcome kid" Dang it, he really liked this kid. Rhissy too. If the elders...he'd deal with that when it happened. For now though it was enough to concentrate on getting the youth back home. A few more minutes pass, the walls become damp and the path gets extremely steep. The little demon gives the skinless a boost when needed. Soon a fern can be seen through the tunnel's entrence and Helmut grins broadly. "Oh yeah! Right on the money, here we go kid, here we go!" He exclaims proudly, picking up the pace. Soon they emerge back onto the surface. Eloa's burrow is only a foot away and clearly visible. The rain has even lessened a little bit!
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Climbing the partially wet surface of the tunnel was difficult and all boosts up were very much appreciated, thanks for help were communicated with a short rattle. As Helmut became excited over the sight of the fern, Dragomir repeated his enthusiasm, cheerfully shouting "Here we go! Here we go!" in a similar manner. The fawn thrust his forelegs up over the lip of the tunnel opening, stuck briefly as he attempted to use his hind legs to kick himself out onto the flat ground. Eventually the child found purchase in the form of a small stone embedded into the side of the tunnel, and he launched himself out to the forest as if the earth itself had just birthed him.
Sprawled out on the wet birch forest grass, Dragomir looked up to Helmut, grinning at the demon with an open mouth. "Here we go!"
Helmut laughs at the kid's enthusiasim and picks up the chant as well. It dosen't look like the kid's gonna make it up the last stretch and he's just about to help when the kid does it on his own. He's seriously starting to like this kid, seemed like a great kid. There's the added bonus that the skinless looks the way that he does too. The demon tends to be more comfortable around those that look somewhat different then the norm. He launches himself out of the tunnel after Dragomir and proceedes to run a lap around the tunnel entrance, skidding around the wet grass. He cheers a little before stopping and bursting into laughter.
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Dragomir giggled gleefully at Helmut's running, stumbling to his hooves and joining in on the fun of racing around the tunnel. As he circled the hole a third time, the fawn kicked up his hind legs and slid on the wet mud, squealing with delight as he slid a few feet away across the ground. He was up about as quick as he went down, though, and bounded back over to the pink demon. He giggled at the feeling mud and bits of wet grass slide down his legs and sides and shook wildly, sending the mud and debris flying. He rattled and chirped, turning in circles. Everything was so fun and overwhelming, and he felt like his body would burst with all this exciting energy coursing through him. If the kid was a battery, he'd power several appliances. Unfortunately, despite the activity, the forest was still cold and wet, and the shaking of the little fawn's body was more of a cold shiver than an energized tremble.
The little demon lets out a loud 'woah!' as kid pulls a spectacular burnout and skids to a stop but the kid comes hopping on back giggling. Helmut shakes his head incredulously at the fawn's crazy energy level. He'd have fun running with them once he got his orgininal form back, otherwise he has no doubt that the skinless will leave him in the dust. It doesn't take long to notice that they're shaking and he's quick to usher the child into the burrow. "Come on kid, let's get you warm Skully." Helmut orders and nudges the kid untill they start moving. He steps daintly, painstakingly advoiding the patches of holy ground Eloa had left behind before she'd fallen. He has no want to melt his feetsies again, thank you very much.
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Dragomir looked to Helmut as the little demon nudged him over to Eloa's burrow, stumbling a bit. He rested his head on Helmut's shoulder for a brief moment, trying to work out how to repeat the demon's words. "Skuuuhh... Skulluh, skullulla." He played, toying around with the sounds of 'Skully'. "Skalalalalala! Here we go, Skulluh." When they reached the burrow entrance, Dragomir knelt down and went inside, waiting at the bottom of the hole for Helmut.
"Skullah? Good try kiddo. Almost got it there." He says encouragely, smirking at their little chant. Another nudge and the skinless finally goes down the entrance tunnel. A minute later Helmut comes skidding down, jumping nimbly around the ground before disappearing into a side tunnel. There's a rustling noise, muffled cursing and then the Moot-Moot is back, dragging a dusty but useable blanket with him. This is then unceremoniously thrown over the kid's head. Helmut sits back to observe his handiwork and chuckles.
(These guys are seriously the cutest)
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Dragomir observes the blanket with big, green eyes as if waiting for it to do something- but alas the blanket didn't glow like the mushrooms and crystals so the fawn removed his attention from it. He went over to Helmut and plopped down next to the pink demon, yawning widely before snapping his jaws shut with a loud pop. With no concept of personal space, Dragomir cuddled up next to the demon, resting his skull on Helmut's back and closing his eyes. "T-thank you, skulluh," he said, yawning again. Now that the adrenaline had worn out, the amount of energy the fawn had used up was more easily felt.
Before he knows it he's getting cuddled. With is both very icky and actually really darn cute at the same time. Sometimes snugs aren't so bad??? Sometimes anyway. The little demon readjusted himself to make the kid more comfortable and pulls the blanket more carefully around them. Eloa and Rhistel would probably find them like this sometime later, curled up in a blanket net. "Yeah, no problem kid. Anytime, any day, I'm your man kiddo." He nudges the small bean and rests his head on the ground. "G'night kid, get some sleep. A busy day huh?"
—
Oh, I'm just a girl, trying to find a place in this world.
Dragomir nestled in closer to the demon, his cold shivering soon ceasing under the warmth of their bodies and the blanket. He chirped in response to Helmut's words. Yeah, busy day. "Ni-ni, Moo'," he said, yawning and pressing his head into Helmut's fur. "Ni-ni." Within minutes, the little fawn was sound asleep, his ribcage only just slightly expanding and contracting with each breath.
He chuckles at the little one's good night and smiles. "Yeah, Ni-Ni too kid." The little demon stays awake for awhile, listening to the rain and the kid's breathing. This is the best day he's had in a long time."Moo'..." He whispers into the darkness and smirks. Sounded like he had a new nickname too.
Yeas! These bugs are seriously the cutest thing, aaaah!

"Down?"
(Aw
(
Dragomir watched in awe as the beetle crawled onto the demon's face a planted itself squarely on his nose.
Helmut watched the kid
Fortunately for Helmut,
At the current moment in time, Dragomir had stopped to lick a shining crystal, thinking that perhaps the glow was caused by something that had gotten on the crystal, and that if he licked it, he would glow as well.

The kid's doing well, his
Helmut stops moving and watches the child lick one of the glowing crystals.
(@Zerg: bring it on! : P
