03.03.2021 Sporthing a mask that emits smoke when he exhales while in the forest. Has struggled to visit the forest for multiple reasons over the last year. Has let most believe it was due to his wife's suicide, but has had other barriers to overcome. Doing better mentally.

Anatomy

Kuwaka is without a doubt, a very heavily built feline. Looking upon the golden lion, while he may not be fully feline, it is apparent what dominates his genetics. To the careful eye, he is not purely of lion descent, as the stripes on his face and set of his jaw indicate a relation to Bengal tigers. He is muscled heavily, anatomy suited for short bursts and sufferance. A steady diet and exercise outside the forest allow him to reach a size feral felines are incapable of. He may not be the largest individual in the forest by far, but he remains intimidating, as his weight at his height make him difficult male to move in any capacity.

His heavy face is quite feline. Fringed by a thick lion's mane, the expressive, golden striped face is easy to focus on. Blue eyes are flecked with gold and set deep into his skull. His pink nose is certainly that of a lion, fitted with large nostrils well suited for deep breathing or taking in massive amounts of air when running for short bursts. Pierced deer ears sit atop his head and massive ram horns curl from his skull. Unless smiling and showing off his massive feline fangs, his face seems to default to a scowl due to his mouth.

Continuing from his head and down his remarkably soft mane and onto his body, it becomes apparent the feline likely has some barbary lion genes, given how far his mane goes, over his shoulders, down his back and stomach. Massive front paws are tipped in white and dark claws peek from the fur, even when sheathed, indicating the length. They are rather sharp. The fur aside from his mane is not terrible long, no greater than an inch or two in length anywhere else. His pelt is remarkably thick and water resistant, not typical for a lion. His hindquarters are patterned like an okapi, though remain feline in shape until one reaches the feet, which are cloven hooves. While the shape is similar to a cervine, they are the size of a water buffalo's, suited to carry his massive weight. A pair of massive, hooked dewclaws adorn each foot, shaped like cat claws, but larger than those in his paws. His form ends in a typical lion's tail.

Physiology
✺ Teeth are omnivorous. Front teeth are feline and suited shredding flesh. Going back, teeth flatten and are perfectly suited for grinding down vegetation. He can often be caught grazing, though he does not regurgitate and re-chew his food.

✺ His ungulate anatomy has led to him having digestive anatomy similar to a ruminant with two chambered stomach, allowing him to almost completely digest vegetation. While he is not quite as efficient as a true herbivore, he can easily survive off vegetation alone. He does enjoy meat, but usually only eats such outside the forest. Often, after eating, he will nap or lay around as his food digests. Moving about too much directly after eating is likely to upset his stomach(s).

✺ Lacks the stamina lighter and smaller creatures have, thus he is fairly lazy by forest standards. He has an impressive amount of muscle, possessing nearly no fat, but more often than not, he can be caught simply immobile, in a sun spot, napping or relaxing.

✺ Hearing is that of a deer, possessing ears similar, though not identical to a white tail. They move frequently, showing that he is alert when he appears to be asleep, and are very expressive.

✺ Long whiskers are incredibly sensitive. He tends to lay so that they are always touching the ground so that he can feel the approach of others if he cannot hear or smell them. Touching his whiskers in any way aside from gently will cause him to flinch away. Pulling them out cause bleeding and an aggressive lion.

✺ Massive dewclaws on his back legs allowed him to climb trees when he was smaller. They are now better suited for kicking pursuers or helping him cling to things... Or climb onto things.

✺ Possesses an unnaturally high metabolism. He consumes more than one would expect for his weight, which is quite a lot. If kept in the forest too long, it is likely he will start to lose weight if he does anything more than eat and sleep.

✺ Mixed genetics and enhancements give him a very strong immune system and most ailments cannot be caught or carried by his body.

✺ Has been genetically altered and enhanced through stem cells. Though only the mental seems to carry over in the forest.
