The Helm
In forest; Skull mask + Kirin antlers
A fierce looking mask seemingly created from objects taken from multiple sources, the main body of the helm appears to be the skull of some sort of equine, though the 'canine' teeth are perhaps longer than they should be, attached naturally to the skull is a single skywards-curving horn, giving away the owner's original nature as Unus Cornu. Unicornis. A unicorn. In the gaping, empty sockets have been added auxiliary horns, which were a gift in and of themselves, a pair of burnt-orange ram horns accompany the original single now. Despite the potentially unnerving appearance of the mask, it is not and never has been a weapon, but rather a sort of shield or security blanket to hide behind when the world becomes too overbearing to face without accompaniment. It is painted from time to time, but never with any permanence, and great care is taken in keeping it clean and well looked after.
The Glass Heart
An anatomically correct heart forged of clear glass, within which exists the thick red of real blood, it is carried about by a length of black cord and is sometimes, though only rarely due to not wanting to break it, worn. A treasured possession from one of the dearest of companions he has ever known.
Greasepaint
Greasepaints in a myriad of colours which never really seem to run out for some reason or another, the source of the creature's markings, but also a source of great fun in that it is not at all above giving friends or even strangers a makeover. It's a mystery as to where the paints themselves came from, whether gifted or found on its own, perhaps it isn't important in the long run.
The Cream Scarf
The tatty piece of cloth hardly appears to be a true scarf at all, but looks rather more like a torn off piece of a much larger length of cloth, it is quite obviously well worn, or else, well loved, but remains clean and carefully tended to, rarely worn anymore, but sometimes curled with, turned over and over and over, chewed upon and lamented over, it holds incredibly old memories, and as foolish as it might seem, the beast truly does miss the original gift-giver.
The Red Scarf
A gift from Hum, worn on occasion, especially if the forest is cold, or else simply used as a makeshift blanket or pillow, it is an object of great importance and comfort to the God, and in times of stress, it isn't unusual to find it with its face buried in the bright crimson cloth, perhaps murmuring to itself as if the unicorn were genuinely there to hear him.
The Red Threads
Various lengths of red string of unknown origin, often adorning the creature's antlers, or else simply wrapped around its neck in loops and twists, despite how they might snag on things from time to time, or how they might catch and stretch and tangle, they never seem to break.
The Bees
Strange little honeybees which live in the being's organs building their combs among its useless organs, creating their honey and raising their larvae, despite the strange living arrangement, they seem relatively normal otherwise, often buzzing lazily about the creature, slower perhaps to anger even than actual honeybees, they may yet still be stirred to annoyance if their home is attacked, but otherwise seem at peace just to gather pollen and visit flowers, if they cause the God any pain, it doesn't seem to show it.
you are crying and the angels
and the angels sit
comforting God
telling him to stop
feeling so pained
“where does it hurt?” they ask.
he points to you.
