...I'm awake...

...Thank you from the bottom of my heart...

I have been rescued from my darkest nightmare...

Thank you, Esll, and you, brave little Nameless fawn and Stag.

I do not know if He will be back...

------

The nightmare is over.

Poor guy.

He tosses and turns, unable to tear himself from the shadow realm as a dark, malignant shadow staggers towards him in the darkness of the oak.

"Hello, boy. S'pose you never thought you'd see me again, eh?"

He gasps in his dream, but the dark figure has more power than that.

"A pity none of your so-called friends are in the forest now. Perhaps they could drive me away. I doubt it."

Almos is in forest and would

Almos is in forest and would help, but he has no capacity for violence and would not raise a point to hurt another being. Hes fairly useless in that respect and bloodshed is apparently necessary.

The nameless stag approaches

The nameless stag approaches quietly, bowing.
Child...I am glad I could help, though I deeply regret my violent actions.
He looks down sadly, but moves to lay his head upon the littler deer.
Whoever he was...he gave off a bad feeling...

He presses his face against

He presses his face against the Stag's chest in gratitude, feeling a heavy shame in his heart that he had caused so much pain for another - his ears and tail drooped in sorrow and exhaustion.

The ancient stag bows his

The ancient stag bows his head to lay it on the other's.
It was not your fault.
He closes his eyes, steadying his breathing to calm the little one.

The butterfly stag's head

The butterfly stag's head swivels side to side briefly, eyes seen darting through the holes in the skull mounted on his face. Only when he is sure the demon is gone does he turn to the small red stag, his body visibly relaxed now. "Don't worry," he says softly, though his voice has a slight edge to it. "You're safe now."
