First of all, I wanted to say: "Hi guys! I'm Kassandra, but ya'll can call me Kassi. I can do hand-drawn art and I will be putting up a FREE art shop whenever I get all this mess sorted out!"
Oh, that felt good to get off my chest. Okay, now on the game, I have no problem zooming in, moving the camera, moving about, but I read that if you drink water or eat a pinecone, you either turn into a different animal or get spells or something along those lines. As I was looking (and trying out) all the different icons, I had no luck being able to eat or drink.
Secondly, I've seen people with different horns and pelts and I thought that was kinda neat!! Um...how do you change those?
First, hey and welcome to the
Second, you have to know that ONLY THE OTHER PLAYERS can change your appearance. You must ask someone to cast the spells on you.
Mushrooms on trees gives you a mask spell.
Pinecones (after rubbing against specific trees) gives you an antlers spell.
Sitting next to a sleeping deer gives you a pelt spell.
Sleeping in a mushroom circle gives you either an animal spell or a mini spell.
You can drink at the Pond, but you will not get any spell.
There are mushrooms only on some trees.
You need to rub your deer against some trees to get pinecones. Not all trees have pinecones.
EDIT: ALSO De Drinkplaats (the strange water source surrounded by a huge mushroom circle in the Birch Forest) can also turn you into an animal if you drink it, but you will turn back to normal if you get out of the circle.
Alright, I'll probably get
You change the antlers, pelts, masks, and body form through "forest Magic" which is obtained by, yes, eating/drinking/other methods. The spells you obtain these ways you can only cast on other deer, not yourself. You need to get others to do it to you in order for your deer to change.
If you get close to trees, you will find you can rub against them. Specific trees dotted around the forest will drop a pinecone that you can walk up to and eat. This will give you a spell to cast antlers. Which one you get is random.
If you sit next to a sleeping deer for a short time, it will give you a pelt spell.
Around the forest there are trees with mushrooms growing on them. You will have an icon to eat these when you get close enough, and that gives you a mask spell.
You will see mushroom circles dotted around the forest. Fall asleep in one to obtain a transformation spell.
There's a giant circle with a little fountain in the middle of it. This is a special location. When you enter your set is temporarily invisible, and drinking THAT water will change your form. However it doesn't stick. If you play or sit in there long enough, you also see odd things happening.
That's the jist of it, really. Welcome to the forest!
Oh and fawn sets only last for a minute, so it's tricky to get them a full set and re-load it frequently. They also have fawn versions of some of the pelts that the adults can't get.
