Newbie Alert
Hello, my name is BlindedHope. As you can tell by the title, I am most certainly considered a newbie, a quiet lost and anxious newbie indeed. As I'm writing this, I am downloading the TEF game and have a lot of questions in mind. Would it be okay if I post some of them? I'd appreciate if a kind user would help me answer them!
1. I'd like my character/deer to be female, but am I supposed to remove it's antlers to indicate that she is female? I found most of the Antlers quite pretty, but I'm afraid other users might think that my deer is male.
2. Is there a way to find my Pictogram? In other words, where may I obtain an image of it?
3. Is there any important information I need to know?
That's about it! Now I must wait 1 month for my young fawn to grow up, but I'd love to meet new friends in the meantime!
Thank you to all users who would spare their time just to read this silly post.
1. it's all up to you. All
2.Here's your picto.
3. In most regards, yes! There is a directory and whatnot of various information. I just don't have a link to it at the moment.
Welcome to the forest! You'll
1: A lot of players have females with antlers. Though it's still common to be mistaken for male while in the forest. However once the community learns your deer is female they will begin seeing it that way. If you want your deer to more likely to be known female instantly the two "feather antlers", Noh Nubs, and butterfly antlers are most commonly used to portray female deer.

3: There's a lot of helpful little threads that other players have made to help newbies. I don't have any at the ready but I'm sure others will. : )

I know your questions have
I hope you find the forest and its community to be as welcoming and helpful as I did when I first joined. The forest is an interesting place - one of a kind - with one of the most diverse and friendly communities I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. Have fun being a fawn! During your first month, learn the "ways of the forest" (lol). Get to know the body language and all that good stuff. And finally, try not to take things personally in the forest. Some players are IC with their deer and may act in some not-so-friendly ways. But you shouldn't let that put a damper on your forest experience. Just trot on and find some friendlier/OOC deer to have fun with! You can always chill with any of my deer if you happen to see them.
I guess that was sort of like advice...? Idk. You might have heard some/all of that before. lol
Anyways, see you around the forest! ^^
