I've been meaning to do this and finally got around to it.

My new Skype uses my email address: clbeehr@gmail.com
if you got a request from that or Cynthia Beehr, it's because I imported contacts from my old account
I'm keeping the old one for a short time until everyone has the new one

edit:
I think people whose contacts I imported from my old account might be having trouble adding me, as in they don't show up on my Skype as having been added. Also, supposedly requests were automatically sent when I imported my contacts, but I'm not sure anyone actually got any. So I've sent out new requests.
